• provide supervision and support to our team of volunteer and paid advisers and caseworkers 

• play an active role in shaping, monitoring and delivering our Business Plan 

• help us maintain and develop high quality services, including supporting the growth of new volunteer roles 

• take on people management responsibilities, following our agreed policies and approaches around recruitment, equal opportunities, performance, wellbeing, discipline, grievance, training and health and safety 

• contribute to our budgeting and financial monitoring 

• support the continuing evolution of our services so they remain responsive to national guidance and local needs 

• help promote our aims, principles and achievements across the organisation and within the wider community 

• ensure we continue to meet the requirements of the Citizens Advice Membership Scheme 

• participate fully in Advice Services Team meetings and shared learning 

Key Work Areas and Tasks 

• Supervise advisers and caseworkers – both paid and volunteers. 

• Attend project meetings with partners, if required.  

• Set up new projects by liaising with partners and funders and supporting with the recruitment process.

• Two years’ recent and ongoing experience of advice work. 

• Experience of managing volunteers and caseworkers.

We’re looking for an ambitious Partnerships Executive to help drive income by supporting and building profitable, long-term partnerships with individuals and organisations. Working within the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, the role of the Partnerships Executive is to deliver excellent relationship management to maximise income revenues.

To thrive in this position, you’ll need to:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate supporters <£10k ensuring they meet their maximum giving and engagement potential.
• Provide excellent relationship management and customer service support across all key audiences in partnership with the account managers.
• Deliver event support for flagship fundraisers such as our annual Dragon Boat Race, Corporate Sports Day, in-hospital volunteering opportunities and innovative Christmas campaign.
• Create fundraising and marketing materials, in partnership with the marketing and communications team, to drive new supporters and support existing partners. Including leading on a regular external Philanthropy and Partnerships newsletter.
• Provide operational support to the philanthropy and partnerships team, including desk based research and database management and reporting.
• Respond to fundraising queries (email and telephone) promptly and efficiently.
• Manage the philanthropy and partnerships teams’ presence on social media, including creating content which helps to promote impact, the charity and supporters.
• Support the team to deliver remarkable stewardship of all donors, including the management of our banking and thanking process and helping to create bespoke impact reports and materials.

Job purpose 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and organised candidate to join Clinks and play a key role in delivering our annual programme of events and training. 

The Events and Training Officer will lead on the planning, coordination and delivery of Clinks’ busy calendar of member engagement activity, including online and in-person events, training sessions, and our flagship annual conference. 

Events and training at Clinks are delivered collaboratively across teams, and the post-holder will help coordinate this programme while also taking an active role in delivery. They will ensure that Clinks’ events and training offer is high quality, accessible, well-promoted, and responsive to the needs of the voluntary sector working in criminal justice. 

This role requires someone who is confident managing multiple priorities, working collaboratively across the organisation, and building strong relationships with external stakeholders.

1. Duties and key responsibilities 

Events and Training Programme Coordination 

• Coordinate the delivery of Clinks’ annual programme of events and training, working with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a consistent, high-quality offer. 

• Manage the full event lifecycle, including planning, logistics, speaker and facilitator liaison, registration, delivery support and follow-up. 

• Act as the main point of contact for all events and training enquiries, providing excellent support to members, delegates and partners. 

• Ensure events are delivered in the most cost-effective way, to budget, and in line with Clinks’ internal processes. 

• Support staff across Clinks to deliver events and training sessions, including providing guidance, templates, systems support and coordination. 

• Promote all events and training opportunities through appropriate channels, working closely with communications colleagues. 

• Manage relationships with external facilitators and event partners to ensure smooth delivery and strong collaboration. 

• Monitor pricing and access to ensure smaller organisations are supported, while also contributing to Clinks’ income generation targets. 

• Collect, analyse and report on feedback and evaluation data to inform continuous improvement. 

Annual Conference Planning and Delivery 

• Lead on the planning and delivery of Clinks’ annual conference, working closely with colleagues across the organisation. 

• Coordinate venue liaison, suppliers, programme planning, speaker management, delegate communications and event-day delivery. 

• Develop and manage the conference project timeline, ensuring milestones are met and risks are proactively addressed. 

• Support opportunities for sponsorship, partnerships and income generation linked to the conference. 

• Ensure the conference reflects Clinks’ strategic priorities and provides an engaging, inclusive experience for members and stakeholders. 

Membership Engagement Support 

• Support the wider Membership team to ensure events and training align with Clinks’ membership offer and benefits. 

• Encourage member engagement through forums, learning opportunities and networking events. 

• Work with colleagues to identify unmet need across the sector and shape future event and training activity accordingly. 

• Contribute to the development and implementation of Clinks’ membership and engagement strategy, particularly where it connects to events delivery. 

Systems, Administration and Digital Support 

• Oversee event booking and registration systems, ensuring accurate records and smooth user journeys. 

• Maintain and update relevant website content linked to events, training and learning resources. 

• Ensure event data is recorded accurately to support evaluation and reporting. 

• Support ongoing improvements to systems and processes for managing events and training efficiently.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to manage the development, delivery and evaluation of the marketing and communication campaigns.

The communications planning team manages The Woodland Trust’s external communications, adjusting focus each year to align with organisational priorities. Each manager leads a specific area and acts as the key contact for relevant stakeholders, working closely with other comms colleagues such as comms delivery experts. About you

The Lead - New Corporate Partnerships role will provide daily personnel support to the Senior Manager, Manager and Executive within their pillar assisting with pipeline development and problem solving. The Lead for NCP will manage and cultivate a pipeline of their own whilst also working with the Head of Corporate Partnerships in developing, monitoring and reporting on the Corporate New Partnerships strategy and cross-team decisions

The role will require you to deputise for the Head of Corporate Partnerships at times when demands across the teams require this including at external partner events and meetings.

About the team 

The Income Generation Directorate at Shelter comprises of the five departments, delivering a mature fundraising programme that has seen continuous year on year diversity and growth. The directorate generates over £48m gross income each year, of which a high percentage is unrestricted. 

Our Corporate Partnerships team is split into two areas - New Partnerships which generates income by securing new relationships with private sector businesses, and the Partnership Management team, where this role sits, is responsible for the growth of Shelter’s voluntary income by managing and developing existing corporate partnerships spanning a variety of sectors. The Role

SERT is re-organising our structure geographically into three Catchment Clusters in the South East (defined as South London, East and West). Having conducted a successful pilot in the East, we are now expanding this approach to the new South London and West Catchment Clusters.

The West Catchment Cluster (WCC) requires an individual with proven leadership experience who can lead this newly formed team and strategically maximise SERT’s impact in the predominantly Surrey-based catchments of the Loddon, Wey and Mole.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Help to establish and enhance a ‘one-team’ ethos across the CC, whilst also ensuring it is embedded within the wider organisation
• Lead WCC’s prioritisation on the key activities (both restoration and engagement) that we wish to undertake in our Surrey Catchments.
• Direct line management of two roles (this may increase in the future):

i)Working with the Natural Flood Management Lead to grow the opportunities of using nature to hold back water in the landscape 

ii) Managing the Catchment Manager to ensure our Catchment Partnerships are action-based.

• Identify and directly support new project funding opportunities from a range of sources to grow our impact.
• Ensure WCC is at the right tables where decisions affecting its rivers are being made and has an important and respected voice in those decisions.

What We Are Looking For

This role is an exciting challenge and will require you to build on the foundations of what has already been achieved within these catchments. You will need to maximise impact by working with our Specialist Teams to priorities SERT’s activities and strategically guide river restoration projects.  You will also work closely with our Working With Communities team (WWC) to improve engagement with the communities who live along these rivers. It is desirable if you have a good overview of river catchments, data monitoring and the role that nature-based solutions (such as Natural Flood Management) play in providing multiple benefits.

The Data Officer for our Finance and Data team will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely data flows into Dynamics CRM and other platforms, supporting Fundraising, Marketing and Communications colleagues to make informed decisions, run effective campaigns and deliver brilliant experiences for our supporters.

Purpose of Role

The Portfolio Manager plays a key role in the success of Comic Relief’s team responsible for grants that address the effects of poverty. This role is focused on food insecurity in the UK.

The Portfolio Manager will hold direct responsibility for new Comic Relief grant making and ongoing grant management in the UK, ensuring excellent grant making practice.

The Portfolio Manager will collaborate with other teams in the funding department and across the wider organisation to support Comic Relief’s overall objectives, including income generation.

This role sits in a team that also focuses on areas such as homelessness, early childhood development, maternal and child health, and forced migration.

Key responsibilities:

Grant making and ongoing grant management

· Manage new grant making, including working with colleagues to design funding opportunities, assessing funded partners, designing appropriate ongoing support mechanisms, and working with learning colleagues in the Funding Team on appropriate data collection

· Manage assigned funding portfolios and relationships with funded partners, ensuring that the portfolio is managed in a timely and responsive way, using Comic Relief’s (CR’s) systems and processes.

· Coordinate with other colleagues across the different teams in the funding department to ensure effective and efficient ways of working, and fruitful collaboration and learning across different funded issues and areas.

· Manage all ongoing requirements, such as narrative, financial and risk reporting, collaborating across the funding team and wider Comic Relief as appropriate.

· Work with the Assurance and Finance teams to ensure ongoing compliance across the portfolio with legal requirements, our grant conditions, reporting requirements and best practice.

· Collaborate with Partnerships colleagues to manage donor reporting and other information needs for external and internal use, such as information about our funded work and our partners.

· Support resource mobilisation partnerships through collaborative and supportive working with Comic Relief’s communications, fundraising and partnership teams.

This post offers a great opportunity to play a major role in managing Hook Common and Bartley Heath, a 123-hectare open heathland and woodland nature reserve, which supports a range of amazing wildlife, including basking reptiles, purple hairstreak butterflies, great crested newts and plants such as marsh gentians. The postholder would also be responsible for a few of our other smaller heathland sites in North Hampshire too.
What you’ll be doing
The variety of work that you carry out will involve managing scrub, tree management, building and maintaining fences to ensure they are stock proof, managing livestock and working with our local dedicated volunteer teams. You will also be responsible for estate and machinery maintenance, health and safety, infrastructure and access checks on the reserves you’ll be managing.
Each season will bring a new set of tasks and challenges, and you will be working on some of the best heathlands here in the south of England. The postholder will also have the opportunity to attend various training and development opportunities, work across our other nature reserves in Hampshire to develop their knowledge and expertise and support our conservation grazing programme based at College Copse Farm.

About the role

This Debt Advice Case Manager role combines both technical and pastoral elements. It will involve building a client case, untangling sometimes complex situations, liaising with creditors, providing guidance for volunteers, and discerning and communicating the appropriate choices and strategies for the client. You will also need to lead client appointments and support clients through what at times can be emotionally difficult situations. Ideally, we are looking for someone with prior debt advice experience, and who has experience of working with vulnerable clients and supporting volunteers. However, we will also consider employing someone as a trainee Debt Advice Case Manager if they are able to demonstrate that they possess the skills, maturity, and determination to become proficient in this role.
