We are now seeking an experienced, solution-focussed Head of Finance and IT to join our Senior Management Team. This role oversees the financial operations and drives the development of our integrated IT strategy, ensuring first-class financial and IT service across the organisation.
In this role you will ensure timely and accurate management and financial reporting across the organisation, fostering a culture of financial accountability and ensuring that all stakeholders have a sense of co-ownership of this; working closely with the senior management team you will support grant applications to ensure that the terms and conditions of these grants are understood and complied with. You will also manage our cloud-based IT services to support the delivery of our strategic plan, ensuring best value IT across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CIPFA) with a solid understanding of IT systems management. They will have proven experience in both financial and IT leadership roles, working closely with senior managers and collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders at senior levels. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to present complex financial data to diverse audiences to ensure the organisation's financial sustainability. Experience in the charity sector and in developing financial strategy is essential for this role.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
About the role

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic
- Support on the annual Budgeting and quarterly Forecasting process
- Support with long term financial plans
Reports
- Preparation of budget holder monthly reports and other internal financial reports
- Supporting with cashflow monitoring
Stakeholder
- Support Auditors with audit information
- Line manage finance assistant/intern
- Create and maintain positive relationships with members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and team managers in order to aid in their understanding of budgets and financial statements, and to support them with their day-to-day budget management and finance needs.
Finance processing
- Manage day to day running of the finance function (Banking, team queries)
- Trial balance reconciliation and month end journals
- Manage and maintain appropriate financial policies and financial controls mitigating financial risk and implementing best practice.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Part qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
- Evidence of building successful working relationships externally and internally and at all levels of an organisation
- Able collaborate and use good interpersonal skills to navigate complex and or difficult conversations
- Ability to analyse complex information, problem solve and communicate findings effectively.
- Have good working knowledge of reporting requirements and UK charity regulations experience including SORP
- Have experience driving change and improving processes.
- Experience of line management
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills (pivot tables, sumifs, vlookups etc)

About the role:
As the Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of our charity. You will be a member of the executive team and work closely to manage budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance, providing the insights necessary for informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and overseeing the company’s financial planning and strategy, ensuring alignment with our charitable goals.

You will have:
- Worked in a senior finance role, preferably as a Director of Finance or similar position ideally in the charity sector.

- Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with the ability to implement and optimise financial systems.

Are you an experienced major donor fundraiser with a track record of achieving significant gifts from HNWI, corporates and trusts? This is a challenging and demanding role, bringing together all major gift sources. Supported by a fundraising assistant, you will be responsible for delivering ambitious income targets from HNWI, corporates, trust and legacies. You will need excellent communication and networking skills and be able to produce high quality, imaginative and compelling presentations, proposals, letters and pitches. Our new Director of Finance will play a lead role in developing and implementing financial management and reporting strategies to help meet our financial objectives.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, your key responsibilities will include;
- Developing strategy, challenging assumptions, and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers
- Setting, monitoring, and overall delivery of the Finance Department operational plan and targets
- Leading the annual budget-setting process, providing a comprehensive business partnering service to budget holders across the organisation
- Proactively managing cash, banking activities, investments, and funding needs, ensuring that the organisation’s cash flow is accurately forecasted and properly managed
- Leading and managing the production of statutory accounts and reports for all Group companies and other returns
- Supporting and developing high-performing teams and processes
We are looking for an inspirational leader who will drive improvements to create a ‘best in class’ finance function. You will be able to demonstrate relevant experience of financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting, reporting and compliance, gained within similarly complex organisations.
You will have exceptional communication skills which will allow you to support and influence the senior leadership team on all financial matters. You will also have a keen interest in digital technology, being instrumental in the delivery of the digital transformation.

The Malvern Hills Trust owns and manages 1,200 hectares of this iconic landscape ranging from suburban green space in the heart of Malvern to remote hill land.
We are seeking an experienced individual to oversee all aspects of the Trust’s property management in line with the Malvern Hills Acts. Reporting to the CEO, the candidate will be responsible for the safe provision of visitor infrastructure, boundary and real property management, land acquisition, licensing and planning across the estate.
The successful applicant will be:
· Educated to a degree standard or equivalent by experience
· Hold a chartered surveyor qualification or be working towards it
· A member of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS or CAAV
· Able to manage difficult issues with a level of sensitivity in contribution to the Trust’s overall reputation
· A good negotiator
· Full valid UK driving licence.
