About You
Parentkind has been highly successful in fundraising, delivering 5/6/7/8 figure opportunities during this, its first year of fundraising. We now require an ambitious and experienced Corporate Account Manager, with a passion for building on this to grow and deliver high value fundraising partnerships that will bring about transformational change. You have a passion for the work that Parentkind does and are able to inspire our partners to work with us to make a difference to the life outcomes of young people. You will bring excellent communication skills and a motivated, results-driven attitude.
You’ll have
- A minimum of 3 years experience in an account management role
- Demonstrable experienceof growing and developing mutually beneficial partnerships
- A strong track record of meeting and exceeding financial targets
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality presentations and reports
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong influencing skills

Part of the Development and Engagement directorate, the Events and Conferences team delivers the organisation's large conference programme, including the flagship annual conference and exhibition. The team also has responsibility for a series of influencing events - a mixture of online sessions and dinners – and supporting the commercial partner events. The postholder will work closely with the team's second administrator in providing comprehensive administrative support to a range of different events, contributing to their successful delivery, whether virtual or in-person. Up to 25% of the postholder's time will also be spent supporting other programmes within the Development and Engagement Directorate, offering experience in a wider range of types and sizes of events.

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, we are recruiting a brand new Partnerships Manager role to lead on opening up bedspaces, pathways and partnerships to improve outcomes for this client group. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in partnership and stakeholder engagement who knows how to get and keep people on board to meet mutual or differing needs. The ideal candidate will be a confident, natural networker. You need to be persuasive but able to understand the perspectives and challenges that exist in this space. You must be genuinely passionate about supporting young people who are impacted by violence, exploitation and the criminal justice system and ideally, have previous frontline experience within relevant services.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious supporter care team. The team plays an important role supporting our donors, fundraisers and colleagues.
You’ll be part of a welcoming team, speaking to our supporters daily alongside detailed work recording conversations and donations on our database. As team leader, you’ll take day-to-day responsibility of the supporter care team’s tasks and provide support for more complex queries.
You’ll also help drive forward improvement of our supporter experience with short term projects.

Home-Start is committed to promoting the welfare of families with young children to ensure that they have the best start in life. We are seeking a Volunteer Manager to recruit and develop a diverse team of volunteers, to support our work with families in Barnet, Brent and Harrow. This is a challenging role as the sector has seen a real decline in volunteering in recent years, so we're looking for an innovative, forward thinking change-maker who is ready to test new approaches.
Additionally, the Volunteer Manager will be a creative communicator, with the ability to build supportive relationships with a very large and diverse group of volunteers. The postholder will ensure that volunteers receive training, development and supervision to support the families we work with, and that high standards of practice are maintained. They will promote initiatives to increase the retention of existing volunteers and ensure that they are recognised and rewarded for their work.They will also promote Home-Start in each of the boroughs where we work, seeking opportunities for recruitment within local communities.
The work requires a combination of field-based community engagement and training in Barnet, Brent and Harrow and regular days in the office which is in Finchley, Barnet.
