The role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Community/Events fundraiser, who has a passion for the cause of homelessness. You will continue to build a sustainable Events & Community fundraising programme. The role will involve building relationships with donors and fundraisers to increase income from corporates, individuals, and legacies.
This role plays a pivotal role in growing York Road Project’s voluntary income as well as raising awareness and brand recognition in our local area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Chief Executive and Fundraising sub-committee to develop and implement a fundraising strategy and execution plan that meet the organisation's income targets.
• Support the Chief Executive in building relationships with major donors.
• Proactively seek out and develop new funding opportunities, with an emphasis on chasing opportunities for long-term and unrestricted income.

• Promote ‘challenge events’ (such as the Surrey Half Marathon) and encourage supporters to take part.
• Encourage supporters to leave legacies in their wills to support the work of the organisation.
• Collaborate with other colleagues and trustees to ensure a coordinated approach to fundraising.
• Accurately record and manage donor data, keeping records up-to-date and GDPR compliant.
• Promote the idea of regular donations to our ad-hoc donors.
• Stay current on fundraising trends and techniques, act as the charity’s thought-leading expert, and drive these trends and techniques into the organisation's fundraising activities.
• Ensure that all fundraising activities comply with relevant regulation and ethical
standards; for example, The Fundraising Regulator, The Charity Commission etc.
• Create marketing and promotional material in accordance with York Road Project branding, to support fundraising activities as required.
• Develop a volunteer program to enhance community involvement and contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives. These activities will be fundraising related, in order to engage local businesses.
• Identify opportunities to develop funding support from companies and organisations to elicit support (at local, regional, and national levels).
• Manage low risk press releases and enquiries.
• Create content for social media (and other digital channels) while always ensuring consistency in line with brand guidelines.
• Plan and drive digital campaigns including Small Charity Week and World Homeless Day.

Position Summary/ Objective
A new role within our European region, the Paid Social Media Specialist will be working closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Lead (UK) to deliver world-class paid media campaigns on multiple digital platforms in multiple countries.
This role will work across IFAW’s four fundraising markets in Europe: France, Germany, Netherlands and the UK to grow our paid media revenue. The role will focus on Social and Search advertising but also to experiment with new emerging platforms.
Directly reporting to the Senior Digital Marking Lead in the UK this role will coordinate and plan new paid social campaigns and content, working closely with the Digital Leads, and the Senior Fundraising and Marketing Manager, to roll these out across our markets. You will work across a variety of channels such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Reddit, Bing, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, Spotify and more.
Role and Responsibilities
Working with the Digital Marketing Lead in each country (France, Germany, Netherlands and UK), the role will:
· Coordinate, develop, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns from conception to launch and completion across EU fundraising markets.
· Building out media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day execution of paid media to support each market.
· Work closely with Digital Marketing Leads to agree on campaigns, budget allocation and spend, ad grouping and audience targeting.
· Support and contribute to the creative process of building advertising campaigns. Including video creation specifically for advertising.
· Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, and suggest landing pages optimization
· Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
· Working cross-departmentally, specifically with the Content team.
· Identify and suggest new emerging platforms and avenues for digital outreach
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· 5 + years’ experience with digital paid media, specifically with Meta and Google advertising.
· Excellent understanding of creating and implementing paid media campaigns with prior campaign examples (across multiple countries/markets a plus).
· Ideally completed advertising certifications (for example, Meta Certified Media Buying Professional, Google Analytics
· Extensive experience in creating digital ad assets and copy, including video.
· Video creation skills specifically for advertising, experience working with Adobe Creative Suite tools
· Fluency in working with analytics platforms, for example Looker Studio
· Goal driven, extremely analytical, with the ability to make data-based decisions and conclusions
· Excellent communication skills to present the results of campaign performance verbally, as well as provide clear and concise reports.
· Fluent English (spoken French, German or Dutch is a plus).
· Interest in IFAW’s programmatic work and global wildlife conservation issues
· Self-starter with ability to jump into a hectic situation to provide support

Fundraising Development Manager
The Bike Project (TBP) is looking for a Fundraising Development Manager. This role will focus on gaining support from both corporate partners and major donors alongside line managing the Fundraising Executive.
This is a key growth area for TBP, the post holder will have the opportunity to make the role their own leading their own income stream whilst being supported by the Head of Fundraising and CEO. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:

Provide operational leadership, manage performance, maintain service quality, monitor operations, and develop staff.

Programme Management:

Support the development and implementation of our young people's mental health programmes.

Ensure high-quality and impactful delivery of the Be Free Campaign's young people's mental health programme.

Achieve set targets for programme delivery.
Volunteer Management:

Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies focused on attracting individuals passionate about young people's mental health.

Facilitate volunteer training and onboarding specific to our young people's programmes.

Coordinate volunteer activities and ensure their effective integration into our programmes.
Communications and Marketing:

Develop engaging content for various channels (social media, website, newsletters) specifically targeting young people and raising awareness about mental health.

Assist with the creation of marketing materials and campaigns focused on young people's mental health.

Support public awareness initiatives related to young people's mental health.
Fundraising:

Assist with the development and implementation of fundraising strategies to secure financial resources for the young people's mental health programmes.

Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and grant-making bodies.

Prepare grant proposals and reports.

Assist with fundraising events and initiatives.
Impact Reporting:

Compile and analyse data to create detailed impact reports for each young people's mental health programme delivered.

Ensure accurate documentation and collection of evaluations and feedback from young participants.
Administrative Tasks:

Undertake administrative duties necessary for the smooth operation of the young people's mental health programmes.

Maintain accurate records, including programme schedules, volunteer details, and partnership information.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, youth work) or equivalent work experience.

Previous experience in programme management, preferably in a youth mental health or charity setting.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Demonstrated experience in volunteer management.

About the Role

About You

You will demonstrate considerable cross-cultural awareness and an ability to communicate in a way that is sensitive and appropriate. You demonstrate an aptitude for collaborative teamwork and the ability to work independently on your initiative.
