Job description

Are you a passionate and driven fundraiser looking to make a real impact? We’re seeking an inspiring Fundraising Manager to lead on developing and delivering an ambitious fundraising strategy that will fuel transformational projects and change lives.

In this exciting role, you’ll shape and deliver a diverse fundraising programme, spanning individual giving, legacies and alumni engagement, major donors, community fundraising, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and digital campaigns.

You’ll be at the heart of our mission, combining strategic vision, creative energy, and relationship-building skills to secure sustainable income for our charity and to help us reach our incredible £13 million capital appeal goal for Project Learn Hive.

Leading and mentoring our Grants & Fundraising Officer, you’ll ensure effective and inspiring fundraising activity across all areas of our organisation, including Petty Pool, Autism Practical Support, and The Ground Up Project. Working collaboratively with our marketing, communications, operations, and governance teams, you’ll nurture meaningful connections with supporters, donors, alumni, executors, and solicitors who share our vision.

This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in growing our impact, ensuring we maximise fundraising potential while upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.

If you’re ready to bring passion, innovation, and purpose to your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

The postholder will also manage a Grants & Fundraising Officer, ensuring effective fundraising through trusts, foundations, and grants across the organisation, (Petty Pool, Autism Practical Support and The Ground Up Project).  They will work closely with colleagues across marketing, communications, operations, and governance to build strong relationships with supporters, donors, alumni, executors, and solicitors.

The role will ensure Petty Pool maximises fundraising income while honouring donor intentions and maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.
