The successful candidate will work with the Head of the Gambling Action Lab (GAL) and the Senior Research Officer to bring together a handful of representatives from financial services firms to explore ways to reduce gambling-related financial harms. They will build and maintain stakeholder relationships and play a key role in facilitating group discussions with financial services representatives. This exciting role will also involve driving and promoting the work and visibility of the GAL, and planning and delivering a programme of events to promote our work.

In this position, you will play an important role in helping us to further understand the links between money, mental health problems and gambling harms and work with firms and stakeholders to develop practical solutions that lead to real change.
The full-time equivalent salary is either £41,283 at the Senior Officer level or £32,915 at the Officer level.
This role can be offered as London-based or remote (with twice-monthly travel to the London office) and either full-time (37.5 hours over 5 days) or part-time (minimum 30 hours over 4 days a week).

JOB PURPOSE
The role will support the research activities of Start Network and its programmes and initiatives.
Working within the Evidence & Learning team, the Research Officer will conduct research, interpret data and communicate findings across of a range of programmes and initiatives which support evidencing the impact and learning of Start Network activities. These could involve supporting in the design and administration of data collection projects; as well as cleaning, processing, and analysing primary data and literature and desk reviews. This is a great opportunity to manage an exciting audit programme using new methodologies to support Early Intervention in Psychosis services.
Within the College Centre for Quality Improvement, we run an exciting programme of NHS-funded national clinical audits, including the National Clinical Audit of Psychosis, which provides important data that is driving forward improvements in care for people with first episode psychosis. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive person for the Programme Manager (maternity cover) post.
The successful candidate will have experience in project management and quality improvement in healthcare and/or clinical audit and will have a keen interest in data analytics. They will show attention to detail and have excellent organisational, report writing and communication skills. The role
If you want to help us end the Disability Employment Gap, Lead Policy Advisor (Employment) is the role for you. You’ll help us turn the evidence we have into robust policy recommendations.
We’re looking for someone who can use their detailed knowledge of policy influencing to come up with creative and effective ways to ensure that the next Government prioritises these issues. Throughout it all you’ll ensure disabled people’s experiences are included and their voices amplified.

We are looking for someone experienced in securing policy change.
You will
- Have good understanding of how Whitehall works, and you’ll know how to create change.
- Ideally have experience of working in a large organisation, and you will understand the need for a collaborative approach that works for different audiences.
- Be passionate about disability equality and understand the challenges disabled people face. Experience of working with people from marginalised backgrounds would be another advantage.

The role
We will need you to take a lead on evaluating the impact of each phase and use that information to shape the next. The campaign will have both online and offline activity and lots of moving parts, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
You will:
- Work collaboratively across Scope to deliver our general election campaign, and help us make sure disabled people’s voices are heard by Government and politicians.
- Work closely with our National Campaigns Officer, and manage our Campaigns Assistant
- Play a key role in the delivery of the campaign, from developing assets to determining the best tactics for each phase.
