As the Peer to Peer Groupwork Facilitator you will set up, lead and deliver a year-long peer to peer group programme for bereaved families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child.
The groupwork is based on a programme led by Harvard University and Boston’s Children’s hospital and has structured sessions drawing upon psychological model of CBT, although the sessions are not therapeutic. Each session has a theme and incorporates education, guidance and support.
You will establish and deliver a new peer online support group, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery and creating a safe and welcoming space for bereaved families.
Outside the group sessions you will be responsible for managing the administration and evaluation of the service, including and collection of questionnaires and feedback required for reporting purposes and supporting members with any signposting requirements processing referrals, carrying out eligibility screening, monitoring the waiting list and inputting and keeping all database member and service records up to date.
It is a key time to be joining the charity and helping us to continue to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families. The charity has been hugely successful, but the work is far from done. The impact of the sudden death of a baby is wide and never goes away, as we know from the families that we support. This drives all our work, across each department. We are a close and friendly staff team who all share passionately in the charity’s objectives, vision and values.

Essential

Proven experience of working in a hands-on Finance Manager role

Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting and financial reporting

Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel)

Experience in managing multiple, diverse income streams

Demonstrated experience in managing financial systems, processes and controls

Ability to work flexibly
Desirable

Part or fully qualified accountant/bookkeeper within ACA/ ACCA, AAT or QBE or demonstrable equivalent experience

Experience and or knowledge of the voluntary, third sector or charity sector and its financial culture

Experience of supporting an organisation at a time of growth and transition
To ensure our finances are managed efficiently and effectively, enabling us to maximise our impact and deliver high-quality services.
Responsibilties will include:
Working closely with the Co-Director to source new business opportunities by targeting opportunities and demographics.
Negotiating new contracts with suppliers or customers on behalf of the Eggtooth.
Preparing detailed budgets that improve the cost-efficiency of the organisation.
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance function. Working with a bookkeeper to ensure accurate financial records are kept, managing payroll, online banking, Xero account and integrations.
To produce relevant, timely management accounts, cashflow and other financial reports with analysis and commentary to inform decision-making
Deliver, oversee and develop robust financial procedures, controls and systems ensuring compliance and diligent resource management appropriate to a growing not-for-profit organisation with limited resources

This is a key leadership role in this vibrant, user-led charity based in Richmond and Wandsworth. You will be providing leadership and direction to five Team Leads/Managers, as well as leading and directing development to increase the scope and depth of the services we offer. We are looking for innovation as well as sound leadership skills, and professional knowledge of employment law is a given. This part-time (21 hours per week) role is to cover the maternity leave of the current Manager and will be up to 12 months.
Ruils is a charity that supports disabled children and adults to live independently, be part of their community and live life to the full. We provide information, advice, practical support, befriending and accessible activities to our clients and families. We enable individuals to have choice and control over the way in which they get their support.
The Adult Services Team Manager is one of three Team Managers reporting to our Chief Executive Officer. The services managed include Direct Payment support across Richmond and Wandsworth, Befriending and Community Activities, our Benefits and Housing Advice and Information service and our Counselling service.
We constantly research and develop services to meet the identified needs of the community, and this role would suit someone who wants a good level of autonomy to develop new ideas.
The Adult Services Manager works alongside our Children’s Team Manager and our Social Prescribing and Community Development Manager, supported by Finance, Fundraising and Campaigns and Communications Managers.
Purpose of the post
- To be responsible for the management of the Support Services to Direct Payment clients in Richmond and Wandsworth.
- To be responsible for the research and development of adult services in Richmond and Wandsworth.
- To oversee the promotion, monitoring and delivery of the CILS, Pathways and Counselling services.
- To provide leadership and supervision, performance evaluation and general support for all of the Adult Services Team Managers and Leads.
- To be responsible for adult safeguarding and health and safety across the organisation.

Main duties include:
Management of the Direct Payment Support Service
- Leading and managing the Direct Payment Support Service across Richmond and Wandsworth Boroughs through the Direct Payment Leads.
- Providing support to the DP Team Leads to resolve complex DP HR management issues around the area of employment law.
- Supporting the Team Leads in their work with the local authority to set targets for the project, monitoring performance against these targets and identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
- Providing performance data to finance for invoicing purposes.
- Reporting quarterly to the commissioners and the Ruils Board of Trustees.
- Working with the DP Team Leads and the CEO on new DP projects and funding applications as required.
CILS, Pathways and Counselling Teams
- Leading and managing the delivery of the Community Activity, Befriending, Pathways and Counselling services.
- Working with the CILS partners to ensure that the service is meeting local authority targets.
- Reporting as required to the commissioners and the Ruils Board of Trustees.
- Ensuring the active promotion of the services to potential and existing clients and stakeholders and ensuring representation of Ruils at networking events.
- Working with the CEO and Fundraising Manager to ensure projects are fully funded and demand is well managed.

Crisis House is a community-based crisis service, working to a recovery model with the aim to reduce the amount of A&E and Hospital admissions through evidence-based CBT interventions. Additionally, we offer a range of services for people with mental ill health to become more connected to their local community, building on their social engagement. Liverpool SHS is a mental health, 12 hour supported housing and community based service, working to a recovery model. We provide a range of support services for people with mental ill health to access in their local community, including outreach support, tenancy support, peer support and supported housing. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards.
