Carers’ Hub plays a vital role in Lambeth, supporting the many unpaid carers across the borough with 1 to 1 and peer support, signposting, training, workshops and social activities. About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Office Administrator to join our team. To manage the overall running of the Carers’ Hub office, including overseeing HR admin, implement policy and procedures, including Health and Safety, maintain administrative processes, manage stakeholders, serve the trustee board, and work closely with the Carers’ Hub team in the implementation of events and projects.

About the Role
As our committed and experienced Speaker Network and Education Manager,
you will:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the Speaker Network and volunteer Speakers and overseeing Administrators who coordinate and process Speaker requests.
- Lead and manage the Speaker Network, recruiting volunteers and training them to deliver high-quality talks and workshops.
- Develop, deliver, and maintain educational resources, including Key Stage WASH curriculum materials, ensuring best practice in language, design, and child-friendly visuals.

About the role
The FDIO will take the lead in developing the reports, dashboards and insight that directly support fundraising growth. Working closely with colleagues across the fundraising team, you’ll build accessible visualisations, monitor performance against key metrics, and support predictive analytics projects such as donor retention modelling and lifetime value forecasting.
You’ll also work hand-in-hand with our Database Manager to improve data quality, support data imports and ensure we are capturing information effectively across the organisation. An important part of the role will be helping non-technical colleagues understand and interpret data so they can make confident, insight-driven decisions.
About you
We’re looking for someone who has hands-on experience with CRM systems (ideally Raiser’s Edge or similar), strong reporting and visualisation skills, and the ability to work confidently with data importing and management processes. You’ll be analytical, curious, and a natural problem-solver with strong Excel skills and the ability to present data clearly to different audiences.
Experience of predictive analytics or advanced segmentation would be an advantage, but most importantly you’ll be someone who enjoys improving systems and has a proactive approach to data.

Job Profile

The post holder will contribute to ensuring the Supporter Donations Team (SDT) manage and administer supporter donation activity on behalf of CAFOD, providing a high level of supporter care while delivering within agreed service levels and Key Performance Indicators. SDT has the overall responsibility for managing and thanking all supporter donations to CAFOD made through a variety of channels and schemes. SDT works within the Finance and infrastructure group, liaises across all teams in CAFOD, and external service providers to ensure donations are processed within agreed service levels and quality standards. Due to the nature of SDT’s role, SDT has particularly close ties to CAFOD Fundraising activities and actively engages in our fundraising programmes and schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Supporter Care:
- Handle telephone, email and postal enquiries from supporters; identifying and resolving queries in a prompt, warm and sensitive way.
- Provide phone cover to the Supporter Care team as required.
- Provide reception cover to the Supporter Care team as required.
Donations:
- Accurately code donations received, ensuring agreed departmental procedures are followed.
- Process, set up and administer instructions and payments through a variety of donations channels and schemes such as Online, Direct Debit, standing orders, BACs, Payroll giving schemes and online giving platforms.
- Input and maintain data on CAFOD’s supporter database, ensuring high degrees of accuracy on our donor records.
- File and archive financial data, while adhering to strict audit controls.
Gift Aid:
- Understand Gift Aid and its application within CAFOD.
- Assist with all aspects of tax effective giving, in accordance with agreed procedures and priorities, including preparation of regular tax claims for submission to HMRC.
Thanking:
- Produce and dispatch letters to thank and acknowledge donations received.
- Write bespoke letters of thanks to supporters to respond to exceptional donations and provide a personal touch.
- Contribute to ongoing enhancement and improvement of supporter thanking
Post/banking:
- Assist with all incoming and outgoing postal duties held by SDT to maximise effectiveness of processes and delivery of key service levels.
- Preparation of daily banking, cash handling and initial reconciliation of all monies received daily.
All SDT staff are expected to:
- Attend and contribute to regular team, section, divisional and CAFOD-wide meetings and briefings.

Overview of post:
This is a 12-month paid internship starting in March 2026, supported by the Jack Petchey Internship
Programme. The successful candidate must be available to take up the post by Monday 23rd
March 2026. This internship is designed to provide a structured learning and development
opportunity for someone interested in building a career in the youth, charity, and/or community
sector. The post-holder will gain specialist knowledge working with unpaid Carers and their
families, as well as exposure to how the broader health, social care, and education sectors
operate.
The post-holder will support the delivery of activities and breaks for Young Carers (YCs) and
Young Adult Carers (YACs), including social, educational, and wellbeing groups, groups which
support YC and YAC personal development, create opportunities to build friendships and peer
support networks as well as provide time out from caring roles.
They will help raise awareness of Young Carers by attending e.g. outreach events and school
assemblies alongside staff, will contribute to identifying new YCs, and undertake a specific
project focused on engaging more YACs aged 18–25. This project will involve researching their
needs and preferences and piloting activities to meet these.
Through Sutton Carers Centre’s support and the additional opportunities provided by the Jack
Petchey Internship Programme, this internship offers a high-quality, developmental experience
for someone starting out in the sector. It could be particularly rewarding for someone who has
lived experience of caring and/or wants to develop specialist knowledge and skills in this area.
Principal Tasks
Activity Delivery
• Support the planning, organisation, and delivery of creative, educational, therapeutic
and/or social group activities, workshops, and trips for YCs and YACs.
• Attend school assemblies and other outreach events with colleagues to raise awareness
of Young Carers and help identify new referrals.
• Encourage YCs/YACs to participate in the planning and shaping of activities, including
through forums and feedback.

This role as Mass Participation Project Manager sits within Shelter’s Mass Participation team.
About the role
As part of an ambitious and dynamic team you will deliver and develop mass participation products – primarily leading on Shelter’s successful bespoke mass participation product, Walk for Home. You will drive participant numbers, deliver an outstanding supporter experience and grow income and longer-term supporter commitment.
Key responsibilities will include planning and delivering Walk for Home, leading project groups, delivering excellent supporter care, and building strong internal and external relationships. You will proactively collaborate with colleagues within the organisation to maximise product performance and work to increase life-long supporters through both financial and non-financial routes.
This role works closely with the Head of Mass Participation to help shape our product strategy, as well as managing budgets and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth. You will attend events to support the wider Community & Events team and stay informed about sector trends to ensure our products remain competitive and impactful.

The Major Gifts (MGP) Executive – Corporates and Outreach (MGECO) is a hybrid role responsible for managing a small pool of corporate donors and prospects as well as working with colleagues to coordinate outreach within priority Major Donor audiences.
CAFOD’s Corporate Partnerships Portfolio has an annual target income of £858,000. The Executive will be responsible for a small group of Corporate Partners giving under £50,000/year, with the goal of maintaining and maximising the value and potential of these relationships
A key component of CAFOD’s continued MGP fundraising success is the identification and development of a strong pipeline of new major gift donors. Working with colleagues, the Executive role will identify and cultivate prospective donors with the goal of expanding the MGP Section portfolio. This will be achieved through strategic outreach work within CAFOD’s priority audiences.
The role sits within the Corporate Partnerships Team, a part of the Major Gifts and Philanthropy Section in the Fundraising and Participation Group. The post reports to the Corporate Partnerships Manager (CPM), working closely and in consultation with the Philanthropy Manager (PM) and MGP Research and Information Manager (MGPRIM). The post-holder will collaborate on strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives within the MGP section. They will also contribute to cross-team projects as agreed with the CPM.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising – ideally in major gifts and philanthropy donor management or external relationship development. They will have experience in operational planning and a collaborative mindset. Corporate Partnerships Relationship Management

About the role
Do you want to lead transformative fundraising and communications strategies that make a global impact?
As Head of Fundraising and Communications, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping RFUK’s external profile and driving income growth to support our ambitious 2033 vision: scaling up community-led protection of tropical forests. Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll oversee strategic communications and fundraising, manage a small team, and work closely with colleagues across programmes and operations.
This is a senior leadership position where no two days are the same—whether you’re crafting compelling narratives, engaging major donors, or amplifying the voices of Indigenous communities on the global stage.

You’re an experienced leader with a proven track record in both strategic communications and fundraising. You’re a creative communicator who can turn complex issues into persuasive, accessible messages that drive change and support for our mission. You know how to secure significant income from foundations, corporates, individuals and major donors, and you’re confident in building long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders. You thrive on collaboration, motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals, and bring resilience and cultural sensitivity to everything you do.

Job description and benefits

Location
Hybrid role based in our Bethnal Green office. The postholder would usually be required to work in the office a minimum of two days per week during their probation period. This can be reviewed with their Line Manager thereafter. RFUK can sponsor a Skilled Worker Visa for the successful candidate if required.
