Position: Birth Partner Volunteer Coordinator
Location: Home-based, with travel around Cardiff to support volunteers and the women & birthing people we work with
Hours: 20 hours per week (part-time) - working patterns to be discussed at interview
Salary: £27,300 per annum (£14,560 pro rata)

Summary of the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Work hand-in-hand with our existing Birth Partner Volunteer Coordinator, to recruit and train a pipeline of well trained, active volunteers
- Actively participate as a Birth Partner alongside our volunteers, leading and supporting teams as necessary to bolster our volunteering capacity
- Link directly with our referral partners at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, to ensure referrals are managed effectively
- Collaborate among the team and volunteers, to drive developments and improvements inthe service, and support the sustainability and growth of the charity

Base: Home based within reasonable travel distance from Harlow. Flexibility to work from Sustrans offices in London.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sustrans Behaviour Change and Engagement Team as it looks to encourage those in Harlow and the surrounding area to walk, wheel, and cycle.
As an Active Travel Project Officer in Harlow and Gilston Town (HGGT), you will assist in the delivery of the behaviour change programme to schools, workplaces and community groups. The project will encourage and enable the community to travel sustainably and actively, through various initiatives, events and competitions.
Your role will include duties such as the creation of materials and communications to increase the visibility of your work, delivering activities and events with a variety of people, reporting and presenting to stakeholders, and analysing surveys and other monitoring data.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people such as local community leaders, schools, businesses, local authority officers, along with all Sustrans colleagues within the region.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should have experience of planning and delivering projects, workshops or activities for a diverse audience.
You will be experienced in developing relationships and working with a wide range of stakeholders, being able to build rapport and influence people.
We also ask that you have experience in planning effectively using multiple systems, including Microsoft packages, and processes to meet the deadlines of each project.
You will be experienced in writing for different audiences and purposes such as reports, assemblies, promotional material, briefings etc.
You will be skilled in being able to prioritise a complex workload.
