The Alumni Engagement Manager is a key role dedicated to nurturing lifelong relationships between the School and its global alumni and parent(s) of alumni community. By leading meaningful engagement, communications, and events, the role supports strategic initiatives that build a strong sense of community and encourage ongoing philanthropic support.

Summary of duties and responsibilities:
Engagement and events:

Execute a successful series of annual alumni and parents of alumni events locally and in the US, ensuring robust attendance, and driving successful event-based fundraisers when applicable

Manage the onboarding of the graduating Grade 12 class into the alumni network throughout the students’ final year at ASL, with event engagement and a fundraising appeal, in partnership with the high school leadership team

Coordinate with the Director of Development and Giving Manager to annually promote fundraising appeals and giving challenges at alumni events and in alumni communications
Communications:

Execute alumni communications in coordination with the Director of Development and the Communications team

Write, design, and publish a monthly alumni newsletter, London Calling

Research, meet, and conduct interviews with alumni of note in order to write monthly in-depth feature stories in London Calling

Serve as lead on alumni networking software (ASLConnects, a Graduway site)

Develop alumni content for ASL social media and online alumni platforms.

Partner with the Giving Manager to drive success and class engagement during Grade 12 class gift campaign drive each year

Monitor and provide updates for alumni web pages

Manage the Eagle mascot volunteers, and select student-facing events

As requested, provide occasional copywriting and copy editing support to the rest of the Development team, including non–alumni specific projects

About this role:
This role is a new position beginning in April 2026, as part of the new Croydon Mental Health Partnership pilot programme (MHP) led by Croydon Voluntary Action. The MHP is part of the Building Brighter Futures (BBF) initiative funded by the Maudsley Charity. Reaching Higher is one of the BBF consortium members.
Main purpose of this role:
The Co-ordinator will provide early, relational, trauma-informed interventions for young people (15–19) presenting with mild–moderate emotional wellbeing, mental health, and social needs.
This role will deliver timely engagement (contact within 72 hours), needs-based assessments, short-term support, and warm handovers into the most appropriate pathway across the BBF consortium, avoiding duplication and repeated storytelling. The role is central to the front-door and allocations model, ensuring young people receive the right support, at the right time, from the right organisation.
This new role is perfect for someone who is looking to grow their skills in partnership working, including building partnerships between statutory services and the voluntary sector, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. The STP training team works closely with the Science Technology Platforms to design and deliver technical training for internal and external scientists, including in person, hybrid and online training. The team also support Crick technical staff to develop teaching and learning skills to ensure our training is fit for purpose and follows pedagogical best practice.

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised coordinator to support the delivery of our growing external training programme. You’ll coordinate in-person training events, support marketing and communications activity and help keep projects running smoothly. Overview
The Campaign Projects Manager is a fixed-term role that supports the University’s fundraising priorities by turning strategy into action.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Campaign Management, you will identify, plan, and manage key fundraising projects and giving opportunities. You will work closely with the Campaigns and Alumni Relations (CAR) team, academic Schools, and Professional Services, acting as a link between them. Your role will ensure that fundraising projects are clearly defined, financially sound, and ready for donor support.
You will manage important strategic projects related to philanthropy, including the Endowment Income Project, support planning for the conclusion of the Forged in Sheffield fundraising and engagement campaign, and lead the development of a pipeline of post-campaign philanthropic opportunities. You will provide project management for campaign planning and meetings with senior stakeholders, drafting Board papers and reports that explain relatively complex information clearly.
As Campaign Projects Manager, you will oversee key initiatives within the department and work closely with colleagues across the University to deliver campaign objectives. The role involves managing complex and varied responsibilities, requiring sound judgement and a high level of discretion and confidentiality. Your work will ensure critically important projects remain on track through the campaign’s public phase and that momentum is sustained.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Design and implement a process for maintaining a sustainable pipeline of philanthropic fundraising opportunities that align with University priorities and donor interests. Lead work to scope and evaluate the suitability of proposed projects.
- Be proactive in partnering with senior academics and Faculty Leads to identify and "translate" research and capital priorities into fundable projects. Convene groups to source required financial information and narrative content.
- Draft compelling "Cases for Support" and project briefs that align with the University’s strategic themes and are consistent with the overarching Campaign brand. Translate relatively complex information into a form that is understandable by non-experts and appealing to donors.
- Lead the project management of a time-limited plan to ‘unlock’ income and/or capital from dormant or restricted endowment funds. Set milestones, monitor progress and ensure the project keeps on track. Work with colleagues across CAR and across the University to plan, prepare and coordinate submissions to the Charity Commission, providing content for Council papers and proposals where needed.
- Design, set up and test a sustainable system for reporting-on endowment spend and the impact of endowed gifts.
- Use insight and analysis to contribute to the preparation of papers, documents and reports on the project’s progress and outcome. Make recommendations and produce content that is appropriate for different internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Provide project management support for the creation and delivery of a clear plan to close the Forged in Sheffield campaign and maintain momentum post-campaign. Ensure the plan covers key milestones and shows the overall impact of donor support and engagement throughout the life of the campaign. Work with colleagues across CAR to keep the plan current, monitoring progress, identifying risks and responding to change as needed.
- Lead work to evaluate and report on the outcomes of the University’s first major philanthropic campaign. Make recommendations on content, convene expert groups and contribute to creation of materials, as required. Ensure that planned reports are consistent and timely and reflect the full range of stakeholders.
- Support the Associate Director of Campaign Management in planning and preparing for meetings with key internal and external stakeholders. Tasks may include preparing agendas, drafting discussion papers, designing and producing slide decks, being proactive in sourcing content, and following-up on actions. Attendance at meetings may also be required.

The role
Join us in supporting the delivery of Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Panel (DAPP) meetings and a coordinated response across partner agencies to work with perpetrators of domestic abuse. In this role, you will help ensure the Drive Project runs well by providing reliable administrative and organisational support.
Your work will include preparing and maintaining records, scheduling and servicing meetings, managing case information in line with GDPR, and responding to enquiries from colleagues and partners. You will use a range of systems to collate data, produce required reports, and help keep processes up to date and in line with guidance.
This role suits someone who can plan their workload, follow set procedures, and work with a variety of internal and external contacts. You will represent the service professionally, maintain confidentiality, and support the ongoing delivery of the Drive Project.
About you
You’ll have a deep understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on clients and children, as well as the reasons behind abusive behaviours towards intimate partners.
You will bring a solid foundation of IT, English and numeracy skills, supported by confidence using Microsoft applications and managing high-volume workloads. You can adapt to changing demands, communicate clearly in writing and in person, and work well as part of a team. Experience in areas such as domestic abuse, violence against women and girls, or offender management is helpful, as is familiarity with police or offender-related systems. You understand risk, safeguarding, and the behaviours associated with domestic abuse, and you can apply this knowledge when handling information or supporting multi-agency work.

The primary aim of this role is to help Money and Mental Health secure the income it needs to deliver its mission and further strengthen the charity’s financial footing for the future. This is a crucial role in our new Fundraising team, and the successful candidate will work across all elements of our income generation activities - from grant-writing to donor stewardship and pipeline development.
The role will have a particular focus on securing funding from Trusts and Foundations, but there will also be ample opportunities to engage corporate partners and other prospective funders.

Key responsibilities:
Funding bids and proposals

Draft and develop effective and impactful fundraising bids and proposals to secure both grant income and corporate sponsorship

Project manage the process of developing funding proposals - including completing funding checklists, coordinating the team on relevant deadlines and booking in time for sign off from relevant colleagues.
Relationship management

Play a key role in donor stewardship alongside Head of Fundraising and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), including grant makers, corporates and individual donors

Support SLT in identifying - and building relationships with - relevant individuals within prospective funder organisations - including coordinating meetings.

Ensure we stay on top of our grant requirements, including drafting grant reports and coordinating other team members to fulfil those requirements

We are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative legal manager for our international Environment and Sustainable Development Programme. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with deep enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of how our partners could use the law to achieve environmental justice. Working as part of a small but dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to learn at close hand what it means to work for an international NGO focusing on how the law can be used to fight corruption and achieve environmental and economic justice. You will develop projects with a range of partners, including international agencies, NGOs, CSOs and governments. You will collaborate with a range of volunteer lawyers (via law firms and barristers chambers) who are leading experts in their field. You will also help nurture, build and maintain relationships with our funders. The role will involve outreach to new partners, programme management, supporting the drafting of fundraising applications and donor reports, tracking impact, as well as evaluating and learning from projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement the strategic vision for ILP’s Environment and Sustainable Development (ESD) programme, in conjunction with the ESD Programme Director, Legal Fellows, Executive Director, partners, staff and Board;

Develop an understanding of the most effective environmental policy tools and legal interventions to deliver the programme’s objectives, through engagement with volunteer lawyers, ILP partners, ILP’s ESD Advisory Committee, staff, Board and others;

Support the ESD Programme Director to build and maintain ILP’s Environment and Sustainable Development (ESD) programme. This includes:

liaising with partners to identify legal/policy needs and offer potential legal and/or policy reform solutions, including through conducting legal analysis;
identifying and engaging in regular outreach with potential new partners to build the project pipeline;

identifying, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new highly experienced volunteer lawyers;

mapping and developing relationships with regional and international development entities and other technical assistance providers to identify potential partners, needs and focus countries;

Support the Programme Director in ensuring effective project delivery and evaluation of impact including:

Deepen ILP’s knowledge and understanding of the situation in developing economies, including engaging in relevant research alongside ILP partners (pro bono lawyers, NGOs, CSOs and others) and sharing findings via written reports and output;
