Housing Support Manager
Prospectus is pleased to be supporting a well know national organisation who support young care leavers or young people may have left a challenging home environment, in building their independence. This vibrant charity is renowned for provision of high quality, secure, and affordable accommodation as well as empowering and supporting young people to build their way to adulthood with confidence.
The Housing Support Manager will manage a team of 7 key workers who in turn manage a small case load for their clients. Managing and ensuring compliance within the Housing Support Act (2023) as well as managing support service contracts to achieve goals, targets and contract obligations will include regular report writing and meetings.
The role is also responsible for overseeing and maintaining ambitious standards to health and safety, safeguarding, fire safety and resident well-being.
Reporting to the Head of Housing, the successful candidate will be leading and managing the delivery of this crucial service, requiring an individual who has previous experience of working with vulnerable individuals, and the support services required to ensure tailored support to sustain tenancies, improve well-being, and progress towards independent living. A candidate who holds a CIH level 4 or equivalent is preferred, and if this is not held, there is an expectation to complete this within 12 months of starting. Proven experience within housing management and evidence of safeguarding training within the past 12 months is also key.

Please note this is a full -time role Monday-Sunday, 35 hours per week, there may be very occasional evening and weekend work. The role is also based on site in Redhill a minimum of 4 days per week.
