Contract: Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
Location: Central London

We are delighted to be supporting a London‑based global higher education institution in their search for a Student Engagement Administrator to join their Student Life team. This is a permanent role, based on-site in Central London, offering a dynamic blend of frontline student support, programme coordination, and community engagement.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a student‑focused professional who thrives in a busy, multicultural environment and enjoys helping students feel welcomed, supported, and connected throughout their study abroad experience.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Providing responsive, welcoming frontline support via the Student Life desk, email and phone, including assistance with ID cards, letters, transport cards and general enquiries.
  • Supporting student access to health and wellbeing services, including guidance on UK healthcare processes and occasional accompaniment to appointments following protocol.
  • Contributing to arrivals, orientations, tours and other key points in the student lifecycle.
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of workshops, cultural excursions, volunteering activities and wider Student Life programming, including event logistics and attendance tracking.
  • Leading on assigned focus areas such as student clubs, identity‑based groups, volunteering, or wellbeing initiatives, and building partnerships with London‑based organisations.
  • Supporting student leaders and cross‑university engagement schemes, including ambassador groups and first‑year leadership initiatives.
  • Taking part in on‑call duties to respond to urgent student concerns and supporting key events which may involve occasional evening or weekend work.

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • Experience in student‑facing roles or customer service, preferably within higher education or a similar environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with confidence handling busy workloads and varied enquiries.
  • A proactive, supportive approach and the ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners.
  • An interest in intercultural engagement, community‑building, and student wellbeing initiatives.
  • Flexibility to support peak times and participate in the on‑call rota.
