Do you have a conveyancing legal background with an interest in Tutoring students?
We have a permanent opportunity for a conveyancing legal professional to join a Law School on a permanent basis, for 2-3 days a week (across Mon - Thurs). This role is fully remote as learners are online, but there would be a requirement to attend in-person meetings in Bedford, up to 6 times per year.
Key duties:
- Manage caseload of learners: onboard, assess skills, and create development plans.
- Deliver group and 1:1 teaching sessions at all levels in designated areas of specialism via webinar, checking and supporting learning and the practical application of skills
- Assessing learners' formative work according to mark schemes, providing detailed feedback on all areas of strength and identifying areas for development
- Supporting learners by conference call, email or online forum
- Ensure learner safety and well-being, report any concerns.
- Monitor learner engagement and progress, raise concerns as needed.
- Conduct progress reviews, set objectives, and adapt plans accordingly.
- Assist learners with assessments and provide additional support when necessary.
- Provide feedback on learner experience and contribute to quality improvement.
- Participate in standardisation processes and staff development.
- Contribute to improving learning resources and stay updated in relevant subject areas.

Essential experience:
- CILEX graduate/Law degree or equivalent.
- Significant experience in designated practice area (property).

The Director of Development and External Affairs will determine a strategic plan for business development, fundraising and commercial opportunities within the remit of the role. You will manage both capital and revenue income targets and support an experienced Audience & Communications team to increase visitor attendance to achieve c. 400,000 visitors per year. Role:
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- Update the Register and maintain the property ledger
- Assist with quarterly and annual returns
- Month end support within chosen area
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant
- Housing Association experience including track record maintaining Fixed Asset Register
- Experience with complex reconciliations and financial records
- Excellent excel skills

The Capital and Development team are looking for a Development Accountant to come in on a 12 Month FTC (to begin with) to join the driven and dynamic team.
Role:
- Year end support from the Development perspective
- Carry out Monthly reconciliations and assist with financial statements
- Liaise with the wider directorate providing a strong business partnering experience
- Liaise with external auditors and assist with annual budgets
Requirements:
- Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant with housing association experience desired
- Good communication skills and willingness to partner with a range of stakeholders
- Strong excel skills
- Willingness to get involved with various projects and adhoc tasks
