The Senior Internal Communications Officer will be responsible for the management, delivery and evaluation of our internal communications activity. The post-holder will work closely with colleagues in the wider Brand & Marketing and External Affairs team - as well as senior colleagues across the wider organisation - to take briefings, gather information and communicate key updates for the wider staff base. The post-holder will share these across a range of digital and in-person channels and evaluate, grow and improve communications through data and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop an internal communications strategy and annual plan in conjunction with the Head of External Affairs;
· Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are strategically communicated to employees via internal comms channels and engagement opportunities;
· Plan, write and edit content for a variety of internal communications channels, such as the staff intranet (SharePoint), emails (Microsoft), and email (Mailchimp/Salesforce/Pardot);
· Provide strategic internal comms advice and content for colleagues and teams across Anna Freud;
· Support the planning of staff events and prepare, advise on and deliver internal presentations as required;
· Draft emails and scripts for senior managers for presentation to staff in written, or spoken form;
· Support the development of A/V internal comms to help Anna Freud test and learn about the most successful content and channels for our colleagues;
· Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and are on-brand (tone of voice, look and feel);
· Liaise with the wider External Affairs team to ensure internal messages are consistent with external messages;
Person Specification:
· Relevant degree, equivalent qualification, or experience in an internal communications role.
· Demonstrable experience managing internal communications programmes in a public, third, or private sector organisation.
· Experience of building internal communications strategies and evaluating impact.
· Content management experience.
· SharePoint and Mailchimp/Salesforce/Pardot skills.
· Excellent copywriting, proof-reading and presentation skills.

As the Engagement Events Lead, you will oversee the planning, project management, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of bespoke events across the organisation. These events, ranging from dinners and receptions to webinars and VIP tours, will serve to maximize donor cultivation and stewardship opportunities. With a keen attention to detail, you will prepare and maintain project plans for each event, ensuring that deadlines are met, and budgets are adhered to while providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, particularly with the High Value Fundraising teams, you will build strong working relationships to ensure the successful delivery of events. This entails leading project group meetings, responding to inquiries from various stakeholders, and advocating best practices in event management. Additionally, you will supervise staff and volunteers at events and maintain excellent relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration throughout the event process.

It is a busy and dynamic supported housing service for young people aged 16 – 21 years. Commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council, they offer a high quality, strengths based support service which aims to build the skills, confidence and independence of the young people who come through their doors.
The Role
As their Night Porter, you will undertake a varied range of tasks on the night shift and not one shift is the same as you will be involved in directly responding and helping young people with any issues or concerns they may have, whilst also managing the site, conducting safety checks and operating surveillance of the building. Other duties may include but are not limited to:
- Booking residents and visitors in and out of the building and log all relevant information.
- Logging all complaints, accidents, potential risks, and incidents of anti-social behaviour in accordance with policies and procedures
- Keeping a day-to-day log of events and happenings when on duty and ensure effective handover of information to relevant staff.
- Conducting regular security checks including fire alarm, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers and report any concerns.
About you:
You will be compassionate, resilient and have the skills to de-escalate potential incidents through your fantastic communication skills. You will need to be able to confidently diffuse difficult situations which may arise as a result of tension or disagreements between young people, and be understanding of the needs of people from diverse social, cultural and racial backgrounds.
Although training will be provided, you must be comfortable with lone working and using your own initiative. It is beneficial if you have an understanding of professional boundaries working with a vulnerable client group and/or experience of working with a vulnerable client group. A basic level of literacy and numeracy is essential as well as caring for the safety and wellbeing of young people.
Working times:
The service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year including bank holidays and weekends. Staff will be required to work 37 hours including weekends across 4 shifts. 8:45pm -7am

Reporting to: Domestic Abuse Outreach Manager
Purpose of Role: As an IDVA/Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing support and assistance to individuals affected by domestic abuse across the Surrey area. Your primary focus will be on offering practical advice, emotional support, safety planning, and risk assessment to empower clients to make informed decisions about their future.
Specific Duties:
- Conducting direct work with clients, utilising sensitive listening and questioning skills to understand their situations and assist in setting priorities.
- Providing practical help, advice, and emotional support to enable clients to navigate their options, including safety planning and risk assessment.
- Encouraging clients to access relevant services such as legal aid, financial assistance, housing, and medical treatment through appropriate referrals.
- Negotiating with third parties and accompanying clients to meetings or court proceedings as necessary.
- Addressing the impact of domestic abuse on children and advocating for their protection.
- Facilitating client integration into the community and organising group work sessions when beneficial.
- Participating in Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences and assessing clients for referral to support schemes.
- Maintaining accurate client records and fulfilling monitoring requirements.
- Upholding organisational aims and principles, staying informed about relevant policies and procedures, and participating in awareness-raising events.
- Collaborating with other organisations and agencies in a joint or multiple approach to client support.
- Adhering to health and safety procedures and working closely with other Outreach Workers/IDVAs.
- Undertaking professional development activities, including training and supervision sessions.
Person Specification:
- Knowledge of domestic abuse issues and recent experience in advice work.
- Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and evaluate risk factors.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with a focus on negotiation.
- Proficiency in IT for data compilation and report preparation.
- Flexibility, initiative, and teamwork skills.
- Numeracy skills and an understanding of confidentiality.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various agencies and individuals.
- Possession of a full driving license and access to a car for client meetings across specified boroughs.
- Qualified as a domestic abuse IDVA or willingness to undergo training for qualification.

- Qualified accountant or qualified by experience

About The Role
As Challenge Events Executive you will coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge events that drive participation and income including The Great North Run, London Landmarks run and some international Marathons. You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of all challenge events within your portfolio - delivering marketing plans that drive participant numbers, and stewardship journeys that provide excellent supporter experiences and maximise income. You will also be instrumental in bringing new innovative ideas to the team as well as identifying new opportunities to grow the portfolio.
About You
To be successful in this role you must
* Have had experience working in a Challenge Events role and specifically working with Mass participation numbers on large scale Challenge Events
* Have had experience of working on a relationship database
* Have strong project Management skills
* A good understanding of stewardship and demonstrable experience of managing stewardship journeys
* Experience of working with external agencies
