You will work closely with the Marketing team to deliver impactful, data-led, accessible digital content to support our organisational objectives - raising awareness of Tommy’s as the UK’s leading pregnancy research charity and growing our supporter base. You will also offer editorial support to colleagues across other owned channels and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Website content management:

• Improve existing website content, from refreshes to restructures, with accessibility and UX front of mind
• Work closely with our SEO agency, Mindshare, to optimise content, identify new opportunities and improve site performance
• Build high-impact campaign pages and reports using our external publishing platform, Shorthand
• Lead on the onboarding of our digital asset management (DAM) system, reviewing and growing our library of stock imagery and owned multimedia assets.
• Supporting colleagues across Tommy’s to improve their digital content and CMS skills.

Content Strategy and accessibility:

• Assist in the roll out and integration of the content strategy across online web content. 
• Identify and develop new content to drive traffic and engagement – using analytics to assess impact and identify new opportunities – working closely with colleagues in the Content Hub and Digital Product Team.
• Identify ways of improving accessibility within our digital content, updating existing organisational guidelines where appropriate.

Editorial:

• Provide copywriting and editorial support for campaigns and wider marketing projects.
• Be a brand champion for Tommy’s organisational activity, identity and tone of voice.

Person Specification:
 

• Confident using a CMS (preferably Drupal) for both day-to-day activities and site improvement work.
• Experience with website migration and/or restructure.
• Writing copy and creating content for high profile, impactful campaigns.
• Experience working with style guides and ability to quickly pick up brand tone of voice.
• Excellent copywriting and editorial skills, with a solid understanding of writing for digital platforms/content design principles.
• Good understanding of SEO and analytics (GA4) and how to use these skills to improve content performance.

The role

Salix has recently gone through a period of significant growth and is still growing, which has led to significant change.  As part of our transformation, we have moved from having centralised budgets to devolved budgets, and this role will be instrumental in working with budget holders and the Finance team to ensure our budgets and reporting move with this transition.   

This role will support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to deliver a high-quality management, reporting, and business partnering service that facilitates effective business insights into our administration costs, enables effective decision support, and builds Salix’s reputation as trustworthy stewards of public money. 

This is not a static ‘management reporting’ role, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Finance Business Partner to review, constructively challenge, and develop our processes/procedures and reports to drive this change and facilitate continuous improvement so that they are efficient and effective.  It will be critical for the role holder to build a sound understanding of the business and its environment, and actively drive forward the successful management of our administration costs.

You will also lead on all aspects of the monthly management reporting including monitoring of budgets/forecasts and preparation of reports for budget holders, executive management, the Salix Board, DESNZ, and the Scottish & Welsh Governments. 

Working alongside another SFBP, you will be supported by a Finance Business Partner(s) and will work closely with budget holders, DESNZ, and the Scottish & Welsh Governments, and the rest of the Finance team. 

What you will need to succeed

· Practical experience of business partnering with teams outside finance, influencing as required, and ensuring teams understand the financial implications of information provided.

· Excellent budget preparation experience, challenging assumptions with budget holders, and ensuring/embedding realistic budget preparation.

· Robust experience in managing cashflows with challenging/complex variables.

· Effective, confident, and assertive communicator both in writing and when speaking.

The Director of Development Operations plays a critical role in significantly growing development income at Kew, leading a high-performance team and developing and embedding best practice fundraising across the Development Directorate and broader Kew. Title: Director of Corporate Services

Salary: £85,000 to £95,000 per annum

Location: Sutton Coldfield, Hybrid with two days a week in the office

In this role you will provide strategic direction, leadership and operational management of their  Finance and IT teams, playing a critical role in driving the organisation forward. You will oversee the planning, execution and monitoring of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and meet the desired outcomes to make sure the organisation is future proofed in its offer to their clients.

They are looking for candidates that have good experience managing a finance function in a charitable setting and good knowledge of emerging IT and data systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in the private sector and have made the transition to the charity sector or at least have a good awareness of the internal working of charitable organisations.

The Talent Set is delighted to be working in partnership with Mary's Meals UK as they recruit for this exciting new Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships role, established with investment in the Major Giving and Partnerships team due to the significant growth and success they have achieved in recent years. 

As Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships you will focus on major donor, mid value and corporate fundraising. You will lead the team to develop new and existing relationships with individuals/partners who are able to contribute significant funds to the organisation, while working closely with the Head of Institutional Giving & Partnerships to identify audience crossover and maximise the potential of high value fundraising opportunities. 

This role will lead the team in fostering a relationship-led approach to fundraising, strategising for major donor and corporate fundraising whilst remaining operationally hands on and networking/influencing to establish new connections and opportunities for the organisation. As part of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT), you will also feed into organisational strategy and leadership, ensuring all work is delivered in line with Mary's Meals values. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the philanthropic and corporate fundraising strategies, working alongside the Head of Institutional Giving & Partnerships to develop an overarching departmental strategy that allows for close collaboration;
• Proactively identify new prospects/supporters, securing mid/major donor support and corporate income in line with team income targets;
• Foster a culture of relationship-led fundraising, focused on stewardship and retention of existing donors that allows for long-term, increasing levels of support;
• Provide strategic leadership to the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team (4), supporting professional development and a culture of learning/collaboration. 

Person Specification:

• Demonstrable expertise of relationship-led fundraising, personally securing major donor and/or corporate partnerships, with a focus on high value, long term support;
• Proactive approach, actively building networks and engaging new prospects through a variety of channels;
• Focused on supporter journeys and ensuring exceptional stewardship to drive engagement and income;
• Strong team leader, able to inspire and coach a talented team to achieve targets and develop professionally.
• A commitment to Mary's Meals vision, mission and values - acting as an ambassador for the organisation and championing opportunities to engage with supporter audiences.
