You will lead on building the Supporter Retention & Development programme, focusing on growing income, the supporter base and improved engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proven experience of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multi-channel, multi-discipline environment to deliver significant returns and supporter satisfaction, especially through supporter retention & development programmes
- Understanding of the effective development and use of supporter contact strategies, turning analysis and insight into high performance actions

Harris Hill has an opening for an experienced Individual Giving Manager to join a health related charity for 3 months, but potentially longer to cover recruitment period.
Following the completion of a 5 year plan, the organisation has decided to invest in Individual Giving as it has been noted there is lots of room for improvement, one of which is dividing the team into separate retention and acquisitions teams. As Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will be responsible for securing income from Trusts and Foundations in the UK and from international and institutional donors. You will manage a portfolio of UK and International Trusts and Foundations, Livery companies and other Grant Making Bodies to ensure applications and reports are submitted according to agreed schedules. You will write high quality and compelling grant funding applications, in line with the requirements of potential funders You will also identify and research national and international Trusts and Foundations and other grant making Bodies who have the potential to make a wide range of donations to the organisation.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Proven expertise in maintaining current and cultivating new relationships with Trusts and Foundations.
- Proven track record of success in generating and growing income streams from Trusts and Foundations and other Grant Making Bodies.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to write compelling and persuasive cases for support from funders
