Qualifications, skills and experience
Essential
· Have secured and successfully managed income-generating partnerships with companies that have achieved outstanding results for a purpose driven mission.
· Have worked across the new business process including, successfully identifying, researching, and securing new business opportunities, developing partner / supporter offers and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities.
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to represent the charity and its campaigning role to external stakeholders through a range of communication channels and mechanisms including proposals, meetings and presentations.
· Financially literate and comfortable creating, tracking and reporting on income budgets for funding partnerships.
· Knowledge of relevant legal guidelines including data protection, Gift Aid, fundraising law, and other relevant compliance issues.
· Excellent computer literacy, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience using CRM databases.

Desirable
· Have successfully raised funds through one or more areas relevant to the job description beyond corporate fundraising.

Who we are:
BMSTC's mission is "to support the physical health and mental wellbeing of local people living with Multiple Sclerosis", not just now but for the rest of their lives.
We provide practical help - including neuro-physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, footcare, counselling and a range of complementary therapies to help manage symptoms. We also run very popular "live" online exercise and mindfulness sessions.
We are not just about therapies - we also offer a friendly, supportive space where members, families and carers can socialise, share information and take more control over their lives. Understanding that MS impacts not just the person diagnosed.
Our purpose-built Therapy Centre in central Reading serves and strengthens the MS community across Berkshire and nearby counties. As a self-funded charity, we receive neither NHS or government support and must raise £700,000 annually to continue making a difference to local families affected by MS. This year, we delivered over 15,000 treatments to more than 400 families and were honoured to receive a King's Award for Voluntary Service, equivalent to an MBE, in recognition of our service to the community.
The role
You will:
- Develop the Charity's income generation capability as we seek to drive income growth
- Identify funding prospects and prioritise team effort to make the best use of resource
- Regularly monitor progress and inspire the team to reach targets and goals.

About the Role
The Events & Community Fundraising Manager is an integral part of our ambitious and forward-thinking Fundraising & Communications team.
This postholder will deliver The Connection at St Martin’s Events and Community Fundraising activity. They will line manage the Events & Community Fundraising Assistant, with a particular focus on their work on our annual Pilgrimage event. They will work in conjunction with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to develop and implement an action plan for these important functions.
This role will develop, manage and grow an enthusiastic and motivated team of challenge event participants, pioneer our involvement in the collaborative London Walk event, lead on our emerging Special Events programme, and identify new opportunities and networks for our Community Fundraising remit.
This role requires someone with a strong track record in Events and Community Fundraising, with a solutions-focussed mindset. They will need experience in translating sector best practice into action, and to be excited at the prospect of innovating and pursuing new Events and Community Fundraising opportunities for the organisation.

About the role:
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves opening doors, building momentum and turning interest into long-term support. As Corporate Partnerships Officer, you’ll be right at the heart of our growing Fundraising team, actively identifying new corporate partners, starting meaningful conversations and shaping partnerships that genuinely add value. About the role:
This is a hands-on, people-facing role for someone who takes pride in creating spaces that really work. As our Facilities Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind safe, welcoming and well-run workplaces that allow our teams to focus on what matters most - supporting people out of homelessness. From the moment someone walks through the door of one of our offices, your work will be felt. If you’re someone who spots what needs fixing, improves things before they become problems, and enjoys being right at the heart of an organisation, this role is for you.
Based full-time at our Head Office in King’s Cross, you’ll be visible, present and involved - working on site five days a week and travelling across London to our other offices and services. No two days will look the same. One day you might be problem-solving with a manager, walking a site, or supporting a health and safety issue; the next you could be leading a refurbishment, improving how a space is used, or making sure contractors are delivering what they promised. You’ll manage a small facilities team, oversee reception services, and work closely with colleagues across Single Homeless Project (SHP) to make sure our buildings actively support the work happening inside them.
This is a role for someone who likes ownership and momentum. You’ll need to be practical, organised and confident making decisions - but also warm, approachable and collaborative. The role:
To lead and grow Bluebell Wood’s corporate fundraising income by identifying, cultivating, and stewarding relationships with corporate partners and philanthropic major donors. Job Profile
The Major Gifts (MGP) Executive – Corporates and Outreach (MGECO) is a hybrid role responsible for managing a small pool of corporate donors and prospects as well as working with colleagues to coordinate outreach within priority Major Donor audiences.
CAFOD’s Corporate Partnerships Portfolio has an annual target income of £858,000. The Executive will be responsible for a small group of Corporate Partners giving under £50,000/year, with the goal of maintaining and maximising the value and potential of these relationships
A key component of CAFOD’s continued MGP fundraising success is the identification and development of a strong pipeline of new major gift donors. Working with colleagues, the Executive role will identify and cultivate prospective donors with the goal of expanding the MGP Section portfolio. This will be achieved through strategic outreach work within CAFOD’s priority audiences.
The role sits within the Corporate Partnerships Team, a part of the Major Gifts and Philanthropy Section in the Fundraising and Participation Group. The post reports to the Corporate Partnerships Manager (CPM), working closely and in consultation with the Philanthropy Manager (PM) and MGP Research and Information Manager (MGPRIM). The post-holder will collaborate on strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives within the MGP section. They will also contribute to cross-team projects as agreed with the CPM.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising – ideally in major gifts and philanthropy donor management or external relationship development. They will have experience in operational planning and a collaborative mindset. They will be a confident self-starter capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to develop and grow impactful relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Partnerships Relationship Management
- Be responsible for the day-to-day management of a small portfolio of Corporate Partner Relationships with the goal of maximising the value of relationships. This includes proposal and report writing as well as written, telephone and face-to-face communication
- Facilitate engagement with corporate partner staff to feedback on CAFOD’s work and foster participation using both traditional and innovative methods.

What is a Fixing Factory?
Fixing Factories do what they say on the tin! We help people fix their broken electricals and learn new fixing skills, shifting us from our current take-make-waste linear system towards a repair economy fit for the future. They generate public interest in repair. Through a series of stepping stone activities, we take people from never having looked inside an electrical item towards, if they wish, fixing for others.
The Fixing Factories is a partnership between The Restart Project and Possible, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. It launched in April 2022 and we currently have three operational sites across London in Camden, Haringey and Hackney.
Each new Fixing Factory site grows and nurtures a community of repairers, is strongly linked with local residents and stakeholders, and is driven by engaged teams of volunteers. There is a range of offers; from free community repair events to paid workshops and retail - as we develop a replicable model which will support our long term goal of ‘a Fixing Factory on every high street’.

As one of our Fixing Factory workshop managers, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our two newest Fixing Factory sites, helping members of the public to fix their broken items, and managing a successful team of volunteers and freelancers to support along the way.
You’ll deliver a programme of activities to teach people the basics of repair and change their mindset around electronic waste. The two new sites will be trialling a scaled-back Fixing Factory model compared to our other three sites, so you’ll be a key part of developing and iterating a new way of delivering a Fixing Factory.
The two new sites will be in shared spaces with other community organisations. A key part of this role will be to build and maintain positive relationships with others managing and using the spaces.
You will split your time between the two new Fixing Factory locations, working remotely with a passionate Fixing Factory team, including workshop managers for other sites, and a central development and project management team. You’ll also work closely with Possible, our partner on the Fixing Factories project.

Key responsibilities
Activity and delivery
- Take responsibility for overseeing on-site repairs at the two Fixing Factory locations, ensuring they are completed safely, effectively, and to a consistent standard.
- Deliver a regular programme of activities at the two sites, including community drop-in repair sessions, workshops for the general public, and sessions for volunteers to repair damaged electronic goods.
- Work with the Fixing Factory Lead to make changes in response to feedback and project needs.
- Participate in the necessary training needed for the role.
- Take responsibility for ensuring health and safety, safeguarding, and first aid protocols are implemented and adhered to at the two sites at all times.
- Ensure activities provide an inclusive and pleasant environment for staff, volunteers, and members of the public.
- Implement processes to manage the inventory of equipment, consumables, spares, and repaired items at the Fixing Factory.
- Ensure workshop, tools, and equipment are maintained and well organised.
Volunteer management
- Help build a volunteer community at both sites that feels empowered to take the lead on the delivery of some of the core Fixing Factory activities.
- Supervise Fixing Factory volunteers and freelancers, including leading volunteer inductions, regular work and wellbeing check-ins, volunteer team meetings, and celebrations with support from the Fixing Factory Lead.
- Create an open, welcoming, inclusive environment for volunteers, whilst encouraging collaboration and skill sharing.
- Ensure there is a sufficient and growing pipeline of volunteers and freelancers, including leading recruitment for specific roles to run core Fixing Factory activities.
Relationship management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local stakeholders, including the managers and users of both shared sites, members of the public, local repair businesses, local authorities, volunteers, and community fixing initiatives, with support from the Fixing Factory Lead.
- Maintain an open and honest line of communication with the Fixing Factory Lead, other workshop managers, operational group, and Possible colleagues.
Monitoring and evaluation
- Collect and train volunteers to collect monitoring and evaluation data related to the Fixing Factories with support from the Fixing Factory Lead.
Income generation
- Work with the Fixing Factory Lead to track and grow onsite income-generating activities to ensure that the shop meets its objectives for financial sustainability. This includes overseeing:
- Paid workshops and training sessions, including generating bookings from the public
- Potential for small-scale sales of refurbished items
- Encouraging donations during the delivery of core activities
Finance management
- Follow agreed Fixing Factory finance processes, including correct and timely categorisation of regular project income and expenditure (training will be provided) with support from Fixing Factory Lead.
- Manage your Fixing Factory locations' day-to-day site finances: petty cash, buying materials, workshop consumables, and reimbursing volunteers' expenses.
Communications
- Respond to enquiries about your Fixing Factory sites via email with support from the Fixing Factory Lead.
- Update the Fixing Factory website, Eventbrite, and Ticket Tailor booking systems for events with support from the Fixing Factory Lead and Possible comms team (training will be provided if needed).
- Publicise workshop activities and off-site events locally with support from the Fixing Factory Lead.
- Respond to press and comms requests when needed (for example, providing quotes or facilitating visits from journalists). This does not necessitate acting as a ‘live’ press spokesperson unless you are comfortable with this.
- Where requested, facilitate comms team interactions with your Fixing Factory volunteers, including requests for interviews and comms training requirements, with support from the Fixing Factory Lead when needed.
Organisational and partner involvement
- Attend monthly workshop manager meetings, weekly team meetings, monthly 1:1s, local partners group meetings, and any other meetings requested that contribute to the effective running of Fixing Factories.
- Represent Restart at public events and meetings where appropriate.
- Participate in organisational strategy development and reviews.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- You are able to repair electrical items independently, confidently, safely, and quickly, or you demonstrate an understanding of electrical knowledge with the ability to learn how to repair electrical items quickly - this will include changing plugs and repairing items such as toasters, kettles, and power leads
- You have a strong commitment to safety and wellbeing - we have some golden rules to keep everyone healthy and safe - especially around electricity - you will be the guardian of these and be able to recognise and call out when you spot unsafe working practices
- Passion for teaching others how to repair - you have experience teaching others to repair, or you are keen to learn
- Proven excellent time and task management - you’re highly organised, enjoy implementing processes and systems to maximise efficiency, and are target-driven
- Proven to be focused and meticulous when recording information - you’re a stickler for detail and understand the importance of keeping accurate records up to date on a timely basis for successful project delivery
- Experience working in and with the community, including outside of normal working hours - you find this more rewarding than challenging, making time for whoever walks through the door, as well as being able to work regular weekend and evening hours

The Development Office at Oundle School is looking for Deputy Director of Development who will be instrumental in advancing our philanthropic goals and will support the management and running of its driven and friendly team.
THE ROLE
The Deputy Director of Development will play a key part in helping us achieve our philanthropic goals. This role provides a real opportunity to make a tangible difference: devising and shaping strategy, driving forward our stewardship and legacies programme, building key relationships with major donors, and working closely with the Director of Development on the next advances in this vital area of the school’s work.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic relationship manager who is highly motivated, creative, and intellectually curious, with experience of working within a fundraising or relatable field. We are looking for a dedicated colleague who will enjoy working across a vibrant constituency within a beautiful architectural setting to deepen philanthropic relationships between the school and its alumni and parent body.
While this role is 40 hours per week, year round, we are open to discussion about working arrangements including hybrid working to attract a candidate who can help us achieve our ambitions.
THE SCHOOL
Oundle and Laxton Junior Schools have long been associated with the very best of modern independent education, especially boarding. The Schools take seriously their responsibility to pupils so that they can emerge as decent, open-minded adults; ambitious about what they can go on to achieve and contribute. Over 1400 pupils are on roll at the School, of whom 840 are full boarders. Academic results are steadfastly excellent.

We are fortunate in our location at the heart of a beautiful market town. School and town are part of the same community and our pupils take their place within this community, not isolated from it. The town has a spirited cultural life, with an annual international festival, literature festival, and frequent performances of nationally touring shows at the School’s Stahl Theatre.
