About the role

Are you a systems or data professional who can combine business analysis and project management skills with excellent communication skills. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and highly organised individual with exceptional attention to detail and strong experience of working with large customer or membership databases.

You will be a part of the Advancement Operations Data and Insight Team. The team works collaboratively to provide system management, business analysis, project management, reporting and management information for the University’s fundraising, alumni engagement and broader advancement activities.

What you would be doing

You will be responsible for improving existing processes, monitoring and analysing system use and developing new data solutions so that the University’s business practices are enhanced, building strong collaborative relationships across the University to achieve this. You will also contribute the design and delivery of training programmes, producing accessible documentation and monitoring database use across the University to ensure it is consistent and accurate.

What we are looking for:

• Extensive experience of using all aspects of BBCRM or a similar fundraising CRM
• An understanding of the theory of large, complex relational databases, and experience of designing and implementing new data structures and system processes
• High level competence with MS Excel
• Experience of developing and delivering training programs, and designing systems for ongoing guidance and training, ideally related to databases
• Experience of gathering, interpreting and documenting business requirements

General Overview

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and supporting all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders, and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

As the Devon Service Manager, you will oversee all the adult ITRS team and be instrumental in developing and sustaining networks, partnerships and new networks across Devon.  You will be responsible to the Head of Service and be part of the service manager team working closely alongside the other service managers.

Alongside your service manager colleagues, you will play a key leadership role in the delivery, development, and oversight of high-quality services for individuals impacted by domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, as well as for those who use harmful behaviours. You will be part of a team managing a diverse portfolio of services spanning prevention, crisis intervention, behaviour change, survivor recovery, and professional training. These include in-person interventions and digital platforms, therapeutic services and outreach across all age groups and communities.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our services are trauma-responsive, culturally competent and inclusive, with a strong focus on safeguarding, survivor voice and best practice. You will support teams to deliver consistently excellent support, ensure contract compliance and drive continuous improvement and innovation in a changing landscape.

As part of the Service Manager team, you will also hold strategic responsibility in scoping new projects, supporting research and business development opportunities. You will also ensure that the wellbeing and development of our people is at the front of our management and leadership priorities.

As the Devon Service Manager, you will have experience working with health professionals in a management or training capacity, and a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed practice and managing risk. This service takes an innovative approach to both delivering training to GP surgeries and providing therapeutic support to patients referred to us via surgeries who have received our training.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.

Operational Responsibilities

• Service Delivery Oversight: Ensure the smooth and effective daily running of services across all areas—domestic abuse, sexual violence, stalking, behaviour change, survivor recovery, and training—delivered both in-person and digitally.

The Compassionate Neighbours Manager will lead the day-to-day running of the Compassionate Neighbours programme across Greenwich and Bexley, helping people nearing the end of life to live as well as they can for as long as they can through meaningful community connection. Programme Manager

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead high-impact projects that enable finance play a meaningful role in building a fairer, greener and more resilient economy.

Salary: £45,000–£54,000 per annum + 30 days’ holiday + 10% employer pension contribution
Location: London (Hybrid: 60% office / 40% home)
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: 12 month fixed term

About the role

As Programme Manager, you’ll lead a portfolio of dynamic, purpose driven projects from early design through to delivery and evaluation. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will balance effective delivery with strategic oversight, ensuring programmes are well run, high impact and responsive to a fast-changing external environment.

You will manage complex workstreams, oversee quality assurance, and maintain excellent internal and external reporting across programmes. Working closely with colleagues and partners, you’ll contribute to new project development and play an active role in shaping the future direction of our work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and delivering a portfolio of projects aligned to organisational priorities, ensuring high-quality outcomes and impact. 
• Managing project plans, budgets, risks, timelines, overseeing outputs such as research, publications, events. 
• Building strong relationships with partners, funders and senior stakeholders across financial services, government, industry bodies and civil society.
• Representing the Institute externally in meetings, panels and roundtables.
• Supporting fundraising and business development, including leading proposals and identifying new opportunities. 
• Providing leadership to programme coordinators, secondees and junior colleagues.
• Contributing to cross organisational work, fostering collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement across the Institute.

About you

You’ll bring a strong track record in programme or project management, ideally within a complex, multi stakeholder environment. You are confident navigating ambiguity, balancing competing priorities and learning at pace. With excellent communication skills, you can engage credibly with senior partners and represent the Institute externally.

You will also bring:

• Experience managing project delivery, budgets and reporting.
• Strong relationship building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent problem solving, organisation and time management.
• Confidence chairing meetings and speaking publicly.
• Familiarity with financial markets, investment or social/impact investing.
• A commitment to the belief that finance can drive positive societal change.

Experience working in finance, policy, think tanks or mission driven organisations is desirable but not essential.

The role 

Stay is a Telford based charity that supports people experiencing homelessness by providing a range of supported accommodation and tailored support services. Its aim is to help individuals reach their potential and progress toward longer term housing solutions that promote positive wellbeing and healthy lifestyles. 

As a Housing Officer & Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering intensive housing management and personalised support to people from diverse backgrounds. Using strength based and Trauma Informed Practice, you will ensure each person receives the guidance they need. You will offer a warm welcome to new tenants as they begin their journey with Stay, ensuring they feel informed, safe, and comfortable in their new environment. Through choice led planning, you will support tenants to work toward their housing aspirations and achieve their personal goals.

Role purpose statement: The Programme Assistant, Enquiries plays a vital role in the Fellowship Programme working directly with academics facing immediate risk in their home countries to carry out due diligence or signposting. This includes managing an individual caseload, dealing with prospective applications and general enquiries, providing administrative support to the Enquiries team as well as support across the Fellowship Programme when needed. 

Organisational Background 

The Council for At-Risk Academics is a UK-registered charity founded in 1933 under the leadership of William Beveridge, to rescue academics suffering persecution under the rise of Nazism and facilitate their continued work in safety. Sixteen Cara Fellows from the 1930s and 1940s became Nobel Laureates, and many more innovators in their fields, including, Nikolaus Pevsner, Lise Meitner and Karl Popper. A number of Cara’s founders and Council members also personally provided places and/or funds to help individual academics; and Cara, known in the 1930s as the AAC, later the SPSL, was closely involved in the successful effort in 1933 to bring to London the Warburg Institute art library, which had been prohibited by the Nazis, and six of its staff. The Fellowship Programme is the continuation of the rescue mission operation started in 1933. 

Cara has been a lifeline to academics at risk for over 90 years, as and when world events have placed them in the line of fire: Hungarian Uprising, Cold War, Apartheid South Africa, Iran, Latin American Juntas, Vietnam, Kosovo, DRC, Rwanda, Sudan, Zimbabwe etc. and, more recently Iraq, Turkey, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan and Ukraine. Cara support is typically framed as temporary sanctuary offered at times of heightened risk. 

Cara Objectives ‘To assist academics who have been, or are, or are at risk of being, subject to discrimination, persecution, suffering or violence on account of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion, to relieve needs among them and their dependants and ensure that their specialist knowledge and abilities can continue to be used for the benefit of the public.’ 

‘To advance education by supporting academics and their educational institutions in countries where their continuing work is at risk or compromised, to ensure that such academics and institutions can continue to fulfil their critical role as educators for the public benefit.’ 

This is a critical time to join our dedicated and friendly Fellowship Programme team as we expand our capacity to support at-risk academics from the Middle East, Sudan, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Russia and many other countries. 

Role & Responsibilities  

Casework  

• Signposting prospective applicants to the application form. 

• Manage own caseload, preparing cases for eligibility review, including arranging calls to speak with applicants, booking English language tests, and gathering all relevant documentation.

• Escalating complex cases to the Team Leader as required. 

• Maintain accurate and GDPR-Compliant records of casework activity. 

• Researching international affairs to develop understanding about risks applicants face. 

• Researching potential hosts for academic placements and liaising with external stakeholders in relation to applicants. 

• Attend weekly case review meetings with the team. 

Administration   

• Provide general administrative and logistical support, including answering phone enquiries. 

• Manage the general enquiries inbox, alongside another colleague, answering emails about the enquiries’ process, the Fellowship Programme and Cara. 

• Signpost enquiries to relevant colleagues internally and to other organisations where applicable. 

• Contribute to report writing. 

• Present and collect data on general enquiries and applications to the Programme. 

• Ensure safekeeping of confidential information. 

• Maintain excellent detailed records of correspondence, documents, and activities. 

• Provide administrative support to colleagues on projects as required.

Managerial Support  

• Contributing to Fellowship Programme policy changes and decision-making. 

• Provide advice and guidance to colleagues. 

Ad Hoc Responsibilities  

• Show adaptability and willingness to take on additional work when necessary. 

• Support the Fellowship Programme and Cara as a whole with ad hoc responsibilities.

Bioregional Learning Centre (BLC) is a place-based systems-change organisation rooted in South Devon. We work with communities, institutions and landscapes to grow the capacities needed for a regenerative, climate resilient, bioregional future.

We are seeking a Bioregional Learning Manager to help design and run a new learning programme in bioregional practice and to coordinate the emerging Bioregional Learning Alliance – an international community of practitioner-educators.

This is a new kind of role. We’re not looking for a ‘finished article’ or a conventional academic. We’re looking for someone who is values-led, curious and organised, and who wants to co-create something pioneering alongside others.

The role

You will:

• Co-design and evolve a practice-led curriculum in bioregional learning and leadership (online and in-person).
• Plan and manage courses and events, including a South Devon learning pathway and international partner offers.
• Coordinate the BLA, supporting meetings, communication and light-touch governance.
• Build and steward relationships with practitioners, communities and partner institutions (including universities and learning centres).
• Support communications, evaluation and programme administration (budgets, contracts, logistics).

Essential skills & experience

We expect you to bring most of the following:

• Deep alignment with regenerative, place-based and more-than-human ways of working
• Experience designing, coordinating or delivering adult / professional learning (formal or informal)
• Strong project and event management skills: planning, scheduling and managing multiple strands
• Confidence holding participatory online and/or in-person learning spaces
• Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work both collaboratively in a small team and independently
• Competence with digital tools for learning and collaboration (e.g. Zoom, Google Workspace, Mighty Networks, etc)

Desirable skills & experience

You might also have:

• Practical experience in bioregioning, regenerative design, community organising, landscape stewardship, or related fields.
• Experience partnering with universities, colleges or independent learning centres.
• Skills in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), especially participatory approaches.
• Some experience of working with both the Global North and Global South.
• Experience with fundraising or developing paid learning offers.
• Familiarity with South Devon or another bioregion, and the ability to ‘read’ place.
• Arts-based, creative or storytelling practice connected to systems change or ecology.
