We’re seeking compassionate Casual Care Assistants committed to delivering personalised care with empathy, dignity, and genuine kindness to each of our residents.
This is casual (flexi)position offering flexible hours to suit both your availability and the needs of the care home.
Please note that we are currently only able to consider applications from candidates who have the legal right to work in the UK. We are unable to sponsor visas at this time.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Assist with personal care and daily routines of residents
- Ensure residents' comfort and dignity at all times
- Support with mobility, nutrition, and medication as needed
- Create and maintain a safe and welcoming environment
- Maintain accurate care records
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
As a Care Assistant, you will have outstanding people skills, a friendly and positive attitude. We will provide the necessary support and training you need to thrive. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
The Royal British Legion operates six care homes across the UK, dedicated to providing exceptional residential, nursing, and dementia care to veterans and their families.
