We are seeking an energetic and highly organised individual to join our team as Community Outreach Manager to manage our new REACH programme – building relationships with voluntary and community organisations to help them support others who may struggle to overcome gambling harm - working especially with hard-to-reach audiences and ethnic minority groups.
Lived experience of gambling harm (either directly or indirectly) is an advantage but not essential requirement for this role as you will be collaborating with colleagues who will contribute their lived experience insights to inform REACH activities that you project manage. But you must be passionate about making a difference and excited by the opportunity to transform lives, support people in recovery and be sensitive to their needs.
You will work hands-on to organise and facilitate delivery of a wide range of REACH activities with community organisations including workshops, lived experience events, drop-in advice sessions and social media activities - aiming to reach diverse audiences, reduce stigma and encourage wider discussion about gambling harms recovery.
If you have experience of working with community organisations, good project management skills and an understanding of the inequalities and stigma that prevent people from reaching out for support around gambling addiction - then we want to hear from you.

About the role:
This role is home working based with travel in the London Area.
As a Homicide Service Children's and Young People caseworker you will be:
- Delivering a specialist service to children and young people (CYP) bereaved by homicide, and for those CYP who have witnessed a homicide.
- Working collaboratively and jointly within the Homicide Service and other relevant organisations that can help to progress identified needs and ensure that young people are central to all processes that involve them.
- Acting as the designated caseworker and manage a caseload
- Implementing the CYP Homicide Service Delivery Model
- Work closely and support colleagues to provide a trauma informed service to children and young people.
You will be responsible for providing a high-quality, front-line service to bereaved young people following murder or manslaughter. Working with colleagues in the National Homicide Service, as well as partner agencies including education, police, courts, social services and many other statutory and third sector organisations.
You will need to be able to travel to face to face sessions within, and occasionally outside of region. You will be reimbursed for all travel costs.

IT Officer - part time 3 days a week role - National
Charity People have partnered with a £4million turnover NFP organisation called Advice UK, to help recruit an IT Officer.
This is a newly created role, fully remote where you are required to come to London once a month. The role offers a salary between £32,000 - £34,000 per annum + Regional Weighting, which will be pro-ratad for three days a week.

A great opportunity has risen for a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist to become part of our helpline team. Our helpline is open Monday to Friday, and this position provides the flexibility of locum work allowing you to choose days based on your availability.

As a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist you will be part of a frontline team who make a real difference daily to those people living with a lung conditions. You will provide respiratory physiotherapy support to people living with a lung condition, as well as their relatives and carers. This involves communicating with service users through providing telephone support on an individual basis, and presenting educational sessions to attendees of our support groups.
You will have recent experience in respiratory care in a primary, secondary or tertiary setting with preferably pulmonary rehabilitation experience with strong IT skills. You will be working as part of the West Sussex night team providing mobile support to our 24-hour services, ensuring that our transitional properties are safe, secure, and welcoming through the night. You will be based at the Horsham Y Centre and will support the static night worker there during the night as well as undertaking your mobile duties. You will regularly complete building checks and monitor CCTV upkeeping health and safety regulations in accordance with YMCA DLG's policies and procedures. You will work to prevent any anti-social behaviour from impacting our neighbours and other residents. You will help to contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations.
In addition, you will work alongside other support staff to maximise the wellbeing of residents by completing one to one interventions with young people who may be experiencing mental health crisis and/or who may need medical assistance.
This is a mobile role, requiring all applicants to have a full valid, UK Driving Licence. You will also be lone working as part of the role, so you will need to be comfortable with decision making and following procedures.
You will work on four nights on, four nights off rota. Although these are long shifts, you will get four days off after, which can provide a great work life balance.
