Trust and Statutory Fundraising Manager - Make a Difference for Autistic People

As our Trust and Statutory Fundraising Manager, you will:
- Deliver on a personal six-figure income target by cultivating and soliciting funds from key philanthropic relationships with trusts, foundations and statutory funders.
- Bring exceptional donor stewardship skills to a six-figure portfolio of existing trust and statutory donors, ensuring their continued and uplifted support.
- Utilise brilliant cultivation skills to attract new donors, driving income growth for the team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and solicit income from your portfolio of high-value trusts, foundations and statutory funders, securing gifts between £50,000 - £500,000 to achieve your personal target.
- Implement effective donor journeys, providing an excellent supporter experience.
- Create a robust prospect pipeline through research and qualification, ensuring a flow of new opportunities.
- Deliver exceptional bid writing and day-to-day donor communications, showcasing outstanding writing abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop compelling cases for support.

The Role:
As a key player, you'll collaborate closely with, and deputise for, the Chief Executive, spearheading efforts to boost income growth and ensure sustainability through strategic business and partnership development.
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to grow income through corporate partnerships and the "Working with" membership programme.
- Research and cultivate relationships with potential partners across sectors including the NHS, independent healthcare providers, and corporations.
- Manage corporate partnerships, the membership programme, and new initiatives, collaborating with external partners.
- Align with the CEO and internal teams to achieve organisational objectives and foster a culture of inclusivity and respect.

About the role
As Major Gifts Manager, you'll join the charities growing philanthropy team working on a portfolio of £5-100k+ gifts where you'll steward Major Donors in Scotland and work on building a new pipeline of high networth individuals. With a warm pool of prospects, and exciting and varied programmes to talk to them about, you'll be part of a vibrant and supportive culture where people are encouraged to try new things and get creative. Led by a supportive and collaborative team who believe in empowering each other, you'll be given the freedom to work in the way that best suits you.
About you
You've got a proven track record of making the ask at the five/six figure mark. You create inspiring and emotive proposals, tailored to the individual with a focus on outcomes and impact. You're confident in picking up the phone and getting out to meet donors, where you communicate and influence effectively. You thrive in a homeworking environment, managing your time well and organising a pipeline of work independently. Whilst previous philanthropy experience would come in handy, we are open to applications from fundraisers with transferable skills and experience in other income streams but you must be able to demonstrate you understand the theory of how Philanthropy works. What we'll also need you to demonstrate is a talent for relationship building and a passion for stewardship; the ability to listen carefully and intuitively to shape opportunities for donors to give. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.
Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Berkshire is filled with some of our most committed supporters and there is so much opportunity to grow our supporter base across the region. Our Social Workers support families from across the counties and building relationships with this team is a must.

We’re looking for someone with first level NMC registration, who has a highly specialised knowledge of Parkinson’s, and recent experience of supporting a wide range of people with Parkinson’s from diagnosis to end of life within health and social care settings.
About the role
You’ll provide expert nursing advice, support and information on Parkinson’s and related conditions to people contacting Parkinson’s UK national helpline.
You’ll empower people affected by Parkinson’s, their families, friends and carers to live lives that are as fulfilling as possible whatever that means to them; and that they feel able to take an active role in their treatment and become their own advocate in health and life, wherever possible.
What you’ll do:

Provide expert telephone nursing advice, support and information on Parkinson’s, signposting clients to appropriate internal and external resources as necessary.

Develop and update professional knowledge of all aspects of Parkinson’s and Parkinsonism to ensure that the information and advice provided is accurate and based on best available evidence.

Undertake national helpline work to ensure cover across the helpline’s working hours and in line with guidance and as part of a dedicated team.

Maintain your own knowledge of the work of the charity and other health and social care providers.
What you’ll bring:

Ability to provide information on Parkinson’s medications without prescribing or recommending specific drugs.

Knowledge of the importance of raising safeguarding concerns.

Experience of providing telephone support, including use of active listening and questioning skills, and demonstrable digital competence, including online case management systems

Ability to cope with challenging or emotional situations and/or people.

Able to work collaboratively and in partnership with others.
