Work as a core part of our cancer awareness team to engage people face-to-face, providing information on cancer prevention, screening and early detection
Organise and deliver cancer awareness presentations and training to community groups and support other public health initiatives
Manage team Twitter account - posting regular updates on the team's activity and growing the team's social media contacts as appropriate.
Collect and input data to evaluate local engagement activities
Get involved with other cancer awareness outreach activity in the local community
Manage a team of Health Awareness Volunteers and support them to be involved with cancer awareness activity where appropriate.
What skills are you looking for?
Registered Nurse - NMC registration is mandatory for this role and must be maintained at all times
An interest in or experience of at least one of the following: health promotion, practice nursing, occupational health, health visiting, district/community nursing or other qualification/experience
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage people in conversation and to use motivational interviewing techniques
Proven experience in delivering public-facing work, and a good understanding of the challenges associated with engaging hard to reach groups and addressing health inequalities
Ability to work flexibly and autonomously
Understanding of the importance and need for adhering to data protection, quality assurance and other compliance policies at all times
Excellent written, administration and organisation skills with the ability to keep accurate confidential records
Willingness to be flexible in regards to working days and hours
Excellent self-awareness and the ability to recognise development areas and to seek training and support as necessary.

Your role will be to plan, design, and deliver data analysis activities to draw insight from a range of sources which can be used to inform policy, research, campaigns, and service delivery. · Design, advise on, and conduct accurate, timely analysis of data from sources across RBL, using a range of statistical tools and techniques
· Explore, analyse, and visualise data from external sources including national surveys, studies, and databases
· Monitor the latest developments in data science and create innovative proposals for new ways to create, combine, analyse, and use data
· Draw conclusions and recommendations from data, transforming data into insights that help address complex problems and inform decision-making, and present these in a range of formats.
· Advise on design and define data requirements for future information collection systems and research, to enable deeper and practical insights for future service planning, policy influencing, and campaigns
· Work closely with Campaigns, Policy & Research colleagues to maximise use of internal and external data to inform and evidence policy positions, asks, and campaigns
· Develop relationships with research, analysis, and data stakeholders, for example in academic institutions, research agencies, charities, government departments, other public bodies, the Armed Forces community, and data science professionals across a range of sectors.

About the role

As the Business Development Officer, you will support colleagues across the organisation bidding for tenders and grant funding, by helping to guide bid submissions through a series of steps, from initial assessment to submission to funder decision.

About You:
You will have experience of training and presenting as well as supporting Face to Face campaigns ideally within a third sector fundraising role. Key to this role will be the ability to build, manage and develop relationships.

About The Role
- Provide continual training and compliance monitoring support to our Face to Face partners in the execution of all door, private Sites and events fundraising, this includes leading on developing new opportunities in conjunction with St John events.
- Oversee and collaboratively work with our Telephone Fundraising partners on their training and compliance of all deliverables such as welcome calls, upgrades, reactivations and other fundraising campaigns – includes caller listening
- Oversee regular audits of agents, to monitor against key auditory compliance and performance metrics.
- Manage relationships with our Face to Face partners with training, development and materials, and performance reviews. Monitoring various forms or training and reviewing inductions in line with our agreed contract.
- Build a strong knowledge of all areas of St John Ambulance’s work, carrying out continual research and gathering information, case studies and photos for use in training booklets, scripts and materials. Where appropriate, to liaise with external agencies such as designers and copywriters.

The Role
As a Project Lead for the ASB team you will be:
- Managing a small team of ASB caseworkers including performance management, monitoring and support

- When the service requires, holding a small caseload providing high quality support to service users in line with VS policies and operating procedures.
The role is home-based within Devon and Cornwall and therefore is open to applicants who both live in this area and have access to an appropriately confidential space in which to work. Regular travel within working hours will be expected across Devon and Cornwall to fulfil the role and travel expenses are paid. About the role
You will be responsible for planning and organising a calendar of events for our team to attend, from shopping centres to country shows, high streets to our reserves, and everything in between, so that they can inspire members of the public to become members of the RSPB.

We are looking for someone who is a confident relationship builder with excellent telephone and email manners and communication and negotiation skills.
