About CoramIAC

Coram IAC, is a Voluntary Adoption Agency, which specialises in Intercountry Adoptions. This position is a member of the Leadership Team and will have a pivotal role in leading, developing and managing a range of operational adoptions services, ensuring that they meet the needs of children we are providing services for, including all legal, policies, guidelines, and internal standards. They will play a key role in helping to develop new services and where appropriate will take operational control of these.

About the Role

The Head of Service post holder will take the lead responsibility (under Ofsted registration) as the Adoption Manager of Coram IAC. They will ensure the ongoing delivery of an outstanding VAA that is fully compliant with national minimum standards and regulations; and ensuring high quality adoption support and a sufficient supply of adopters that reflects the diversity of the countries they are adopting from.

Applying to adopt in the UK is open to anyone already in the process with Coram IAC but we do not actively recruit domestic adopters like other VAAs. Approved Intercountry Adopters may however request to change their approval advice to the UK if they are considered a suitable match for children available and waiting for permanence through Adoption in the UK.

Coram IAC predominantly serve prospective adopters from the global majority and as such recruit and train a highly diverse and skilled group of adopters to enable the best outcomes for children whilst also offering adopter and sector diversity for potentially harder to place children. This includes family groups and older children. Our offer to RAAs via our domestic program therefore delivers families for children who often wait the longest in the care system.

Kent Refugee Action Network are looking for an exceptional individual to join KRAN’s senior management and be the full-time lead on advocacy and support, managing a team to deliver effectively for our service users.

Role Summary

1) Strategic Direction

3) Safeguarding and Risk Management

Ensure the implementation of safeguarding and risk management policies and procedures in Advocacy and Support services and to review and continually ensure best practice with the Senior Management Team

4) People and Stakeholder Management

Manage the performance of the Advocacy and Support Team for quality and continuity of service, while ensuring effective collaboration with other teams staff and partners as required Identify and build capabilities of team members, sessional staff and volunteers to maintain optimum performance, being inclusive in approach and fair in actions Building effective, positive engagement with external partners, such as liaising with local councils and service delivery organisations and partners, including as a critical friend.

Safe Passage International (SPI) is recruiting a Head of UK Legal Team to lead our ground-breaking legal work in the UK. The UK Legal team works to ensure that safe routes exist for all people seeking asylum. The team specialises in providing free legal advice and representation to unaccompanied children and families seeking asylum in the UK.

The Head of UK Legal Team will be a UK-based qualified solicitor or barrister or OISC Level 3 accredited caseworker or IAAS Supervising Senior caseworker with experience of working within the UK in a legal capacity, specifically in the area of asylum, immigration and refugee family reunion.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a high performing team of immigration lawyers, casework supervisors, and caseworkers. You will drive the development and delivery of our legal strategy in the UK; supervise all UK legal casework; lead our litigation strategy; develop good practices of line management and regulatory compliance within the team; and lead legal policy work by collaborating closely with colleagues within the UK, France and Greece to create a cohesive, powerful, cross-border legal response and framework.

You will also work closely with the Heads of SPI Greece and France, our International Safeguarding and Protection Manager, Experts by Experience Consultants, and Safe Passage Young Leaders to shape our legal function.

This is a vital role within the senior leadership team of a young and dynamic organisation. The Autism Centre of Excellence exists to improve access to high quality support and remove barriers and stigma for autistic people, but to do this we need to grow our funding.

We aim to raise £5 million over the next five years to increase our reach, impact and activities, whilst creating a sustainable and predictable income stream for the charity. To do this we need to systematically build a pipeline of donors and supporters, to build profile and new relationships. In the short term we need someone who can lead the development of a series of applications to trusts, foundations and other sources of funding to support our priority workstreams.

Main duties and Responsibilities

• Primary focus will be on managing and soliciting income from your own portfolio of high value trusts, foundations and statutory funders, securing gifts of between £10,000 - £1,000,000 to successfully achieve the charity’s ambitious fundraising targets.
• Secondary focus will be on the planning and delivery of first-class Special Events and Major Donor fundraising.
• Create a robust prospect pipeline of effectively researched and qualified funders, ensuring a continued flow of prospects through the pipeline, taking a sales approach to lead generation and the assessment of the warmth and value donors.
• Deliver effective research of prospective and existing donors, which enables us to raise significant income through both new and existing relationships; utilising our networks effectively.
• Implement effective cultivation and stewardship journeys that provides a high-quality supporter experience to your portfolio of donors and prospects.
• Deliver first-class relationship management to ensure excellent ongoing relationships with donors in both a written and face-to-face capacity.
• Deliver exceptional writing skills through proposal and bid writing and day-to-day communication with donors and colleagues.

Haringey Community Collaborative Manager

We are looking for someone who has experience of either operational or operational and strategic management skills, with a proven track record of leading, delivering and developing projects or services.

Job Summary

The Haringey Community Collaborative Manager is responsible for leading the development of the VCS Capacity Building strategy and the effective co-ordination of the Community Collaborative team which includes a Communications and Engagement Officer, a Workplace Development Manager, and a Capacity Building Manager.

We envisage the Haringey Community Collaborative Manager performing at either a primarily operational level or, for a more experienced candidate, at both operational and strategic levels. The salary range reflects this, with the upper end of the salary range reserved for candidates who can demonstrate an ability to deliver at both the operational and strategic levels.

Operationally, the postholder will have specific management responsibility for co-developing priorities for local VCS funding and capacity building, as well as the Volunteer Centre and wider VCS community of practice. We are excited to be advertising the role of Psychotherapy Service Manager at Respond, to lead our team and the development of our psychotherapy services with autistic people and people with learning disabilities who have experienced trauma and their families.  Many of our clients may have experienced complex or multiple traumatic experiences including sexual violence, domestic abuse and neglect.

The Psychotherapy Service provides predominantly longer-term therapeutic support of a year or more, depending on how the work is funded, to an average of 130 unique individuals per year.  The current team of 10 are made up of 4 senior therapists (reporting to the postholder), 4 therapists and 2 honoraries in training, the majority of whom are Arts therapists and work within a psychodynamic and/or systemic model.

We welcome applications from experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor/Psychotherapists, Arts therapists, Psychologists or Family Therapists who are passionate about our work. You will work psychodynamically, champion our trauma informed approach including our reflective practice model and have the opportunity to influence and shape the development of the psychotherapy service.  Leading the small team, you will provide clinical leadership and be Safeguarding lead, ensuring we continue to provide high quality psychotherapy services.  We are offering the role at 4-5 days per week, working in a hybrid manner flexibly. You can also hold your own small case load of clients, supervisees and/or consultancy work within the role.

This is a unique and specialist role and we recognise that you may have more experience in one clinical area or client group than another, given the breadth of our work and whilst you may be experienced in working psychodynamically as a therapist and as a line manager, you may be newer to leading a service for example. Or you may have a great deal of other experience and understanding of the needs of our clients from other work.  We are flexible to develop the right candidate who is passionate about improving the lives of autistic people, people with learning disabilities and their family members.

As the Head of Content and Impact, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our content strategy to maximize our reach and influence. Key Responsibilities (please see JD for further details):

• Develop, implement and evaluate a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the Theory of Change and organisational objectives.
• Craft captivating content tailored to diverse audiences, exceeding educational standards and resonating with young learners.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure content consistency and alignment with brand messaging.
• Measure the effectiveness of content initiatives through rigorous impact assessment processes.
• Collaborate closely with a dynamic network of external freelancers and internal subject matter experts, pooling diverse talents to produce innovative and immersive content experiences.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops between key stakeholders to co-create content and align strategies, ensuring children and young people’s needs and voices are at the heart of everything we do.
• Develop and nurture relationships with these stakeholders to gather insights, feedback, and collaboration opportunities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and differentiation in content strategy and execution.

• Proven track record of effective teaching and course development, with demonstrated improvements in student outcomes.

Leaders in Community (LiC) is an award-winning youth-led organisation with over 15 years' experience in delivering youth leadership and youth social action campaigns, supporting local young people challenge and overcome inequalities and barriers to progression.

As the Partnerships and Services Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and as such will be a member of the leadership team, to deliver Leaders in Community’s (LiC) work to empower young people and communities to improve quality of life and build a sustainable future in line with the Charity’s vision and mission. Working alongside the leadership team, you will oversee, and capacity build the services being delivered in our vibrant community centre, which is located in the historic East End of London.

We are looking for an Advice Service Manager to join our passionate and hardworking team. The successful candidate must have an in depth understanding of refugee and asylum seeker support needs. Key elements of the role include:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Management Team:

• As part of the Management Team to oversee the function of the organisation and its strategic development, especially in relation to SRS’s advice service

Service Development

• Be responsible for developing the advice service according to organisational needs and strategy

 Team Management:

• To line manage and develop a team of Advice Workers and Reception/Admin Officer, to ensure they are suitably trained and supported to deliver a high-quality advice service across the county
• To line manage the Employment and Training Coordinator to ensure the employment and training team delivers an effective and cohesive service, which complements the work of the advice team

 Management of Advice Service and Direct Service Provision:

• To ensure that the advice service promotes equality of access to all asylum seekers and refugees (clients) seeking advice and that they feel welcome and effectively supported
• To manage the advice team across the following areas:

1. To assess clients’ needs and propose actions to address these needs (e.g. writing letters or emails and/or making telephone calls) in a professional manner
2. To ensure that clients have access to advice about all aspects of living in the UK and to ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities under UK law
3. To work to achieve agreed outcomes which will bring about positive changes in our clients’ lives
4. To promote independence on the part of the clients and actively empower them to help themselves according to their individual abilities
5. To direct clients to other services provided by Suffolk Refugee Support and / or external agencies (making appointments where appropriate)
6. To respond to telephone requests for information from clients, statutory, voluntary, and private sector organisations and the general public

The Advice Service Manager will:

• Guide the advice service team on complex casework, where needed
• Building on the advice team’s expertise, and with the support of the HR and Training Officer, ensure that their team is up to date on the latest legislation and procedures that impact the asylum seekers and refugees we work with
• Be responsible for decision making and for ensuring that direct funding and grants to clients are in line with policy

Newly arrived asylum seeker support

• To keep abreast of numbers of new arrivals of asylum seekers into Suffolk
• To facilitate clothing donations to those in most need, ensuring that stocks are maintained
• To ensure that clients in asylum accommodation across Suffolk can access our services
• To develop and oversee positive activities for asylum seekers, such as sports and music groups (in liaison with SRS's Operations Manager)

Immigration support lead

• To develop good relationships with immigration legal services and solicitors to ensure that clients can access the information they require and that clients understand the processes they are going through

 Vulnerable Client & Safeguarding Lead

• To be the support lead for very vulnerable clients or where there are cases with safeguarding concerns

Client representation

• To promote the views and experiences of SRS’s clients at external meetings and advisory boards, by participation in face to face and virtual meetings and in giving occasional presentations, using on-the-ground knowledge

Partnership working

• To develop and maintain good working relationships with external service providers and agencies, and to oversee joint working and services development

Monitoring, Evaluation and Donor Reporting

• To ensure services given and outcomes achieved are recorded on internal monitoring systems and that data protection regulations are adhered to
• To provide monthly summary reports for the Charity Manager and board of trustees
• To compile reports in reference to our funders’ outcomes and targets
• To help with the development & administration of written information produced by SRS for our clients’ benefit
• To contribute to development of new services and funding applications
