About The Role
Your role will be to oversee the delivery of the service, making sure the programme meets its aim, including being the first point of contact for the multi - agency Reach Out team and line managing the Complex Lives Navigator. Responsible for reporting in collaboration with the Data Officer, you will provide reports to the quarterly Board and Governance meetings.
Identifying opportunities for systems change will also be a key part of the role, including building relationships with agencies and people with lived experience to understand issues and barriers to accessing treatment, using data and feeding back insight where needed and making sure lessons learnt inform future service delivery.
About You
You have experience of developing relationships and building trust with both individuals and partner organisations and excellent skills in communication and problem-solving. With demonstrable experience of performance reporting, chairing and facilitating meetings and workshops, you are able to establish joint working protocols and referral pathways with partner organisations.
Experience of analysing data and developing insights to monitor and evaluate the service, along with experience of safeguarding frameworks, line management and experience and understanding of drug and alcohol services.

The Reach Out Service supports people who have substance use issues, taking the support to them either in their accommodation or where they are rough sleeping. The service supports people with their current goals, which can include areas such as starting prescription medication, group work, continued substance use and abstinence.
You will be part of the Dorset Hub which has offices in Bournemouth and Weymouth and will link in with other Shelter teams, including the community advice and legal teams. We offer specialist housing advice and legal representation as well as housing workshops and lived experience activities in the community.

- Support the positive behaviour support approach across all areas of the service so it is an integrated way of working and planning and delivering services.
- Ensure compliance in respect of fire, COSHH, and all health and safety in the community and in all activities.

- Have CTC Prison Clearance or be willing to complete the vetting and checks for this

We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified School Counsellor on a permanent basis at our well-established Dialogue School Counselling service at Felpham Community College in Felpham, Bognor Regis. You will be working with a range of clients within the Dialogue Thresholds and working to a 6-8 session model. You will be working alongside another experienced Dialogue School Counsellor and working closely with the Student Services Pastoral team at the college.
Key responsibilities
- Run a suitable appointment system flexible to the needs of the school, offering students appropriate assessments and counselling appointments
- Manage the tight time boundaries of the role and the often complex and varied workload
- Liaise with school staff over referrals, waiting lists and appointments
- Carry out initial clinical and risk assessments and establish appropriate referral pathways with other services where appropriate. Continually assess risk throughout each student’s counselling.
- Follow YMCA Dialogue safeguarding procedures; to know who the School’s Designated Safeguarding Officer/s is and how to contact them when a safeguarding concern arises
- Work at all times within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions
- Maintain individual membership of the BACP and to become a Registered Member (or other professional body such as HCPC)

Key Responsibilities:
Our new Individual Giving Manager manage all day-to-day activities related to cause-led individual giving, in collaboration with the Head of Individual Fundraising. The post holder will engage both new and existing supporters, develop and test new approaches, and initially focus on Direct Debit recruitment with the support of pre-established third-party agencies.

The role
As a counsellor you will deliver funded time-limited counselling (up to 15 sessions) to people presenting with a range of issues, particularly domestic abuse. The counselling will be online (telephone and Teams) and face-to-face in various settings across Nottinghamshire.
About you
Are you an independent, self-motivated counsellor who is experienced in working with people affected by domestic abuse?
You’ve ideally worked directly with a diverse client group in a therapeutic setting and have experience managing safeguarding issues. You will have experience in a range of issues such as domestic abuse, alcohol & drug recovery, mental health issues such as depression & anxiety, trauma, issues relating to identity.

The Role
To act as the first point of contact for Individual Giving and provide on-going support to donors. This includes but is not limited to, thanking donors, responding to enquiries and providing support and advice in relation to donating to the charity
To deliver and fine tune stewardship for all one-off and regular donors. Stewardship must thank supporters in a timely manner and provide information and inspiration to show how the donor how their gift makes a difference. This includes sending emails and letters, welcome packs, and personalised email updates and resources.
To support the Head of Public Fundraising with appeals and other Individual Giving projects that the charity will be running an appeal in June and in November and December in the lead up to Christmas.
To utilise Raisers Edge database to record and track donor interactions.
To manage income processing for one-off donations, cash and cheques.
To work with the Database Manager to tidy donor records and maintain accurate records.
The Candidate
Knowledge and understanding of Individual Giving fundraising
Knowledge and understanding of the importance of donor care
Track record of communicating with supporters by telephone and through written communications Experience of delivering stewardship plans to maximise income and engagement
Knowledge and understanding of Data Protection legislation
Experience with a CRM system (i.e. Raisers Edge)
Good planning and organisation skills
Excellent IT and Microsoft Office skills
