Working closely with the Communications Manager and the Diocesan Webmaster, you will:

• Develop creative ideas and editorial across all forms of communication and editing input for a range of platforms

• Write effectively for a range of audiences and communication channels, including for the web and social media
• Have experience of working with websites and content management systems, as well as knowledge of accessibility standards.

You’ll hold a degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline such as graphic design, communications, media, or marketing. You will be highly computer literate, confident using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, and eager to develop your creative and professional skills further.

We are looking for someone who has a strong creative portfolio and excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.  You will write clearly and communicate effectively, thriving in a team and taking satisfaction from helping others.  You will be able to manage and filter workflow as well as organise and prioritise your work to maximise productivity and achieve all deadlines.  Photography and video skills will be an advantage.

Main Duties

Internal Communications

• Coordinate and deliver clear and engaging internal communications for clergy, parish teams, and diocesan departments.
• Draft and distribute regular digital updates and notices to promote diocesan policies, resources, and mission priorities.

Graphic Design and Creative Content

• Design and produce visually impactful print and digital materials to support fundraising and information campaigns, publicity resources, social media graphics, and a wide range of liturgical material.

Web and Digital Support

• Banking & Transactions: Manage Cathedral bank and investment accounts, including BACS, cheques, international payments, and reconciliations.
• Accounting Systems: Maintain financial systems (currently Sage; may transition to Xero).

About the role:

You may be a qualified IDVA or a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker wanting to work alongside health professionals in a hospital environment, although we will consider applicants from other fields providing you are able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse.

This role involves both face to face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working. There is an expectation that you will do a mixture of working from home, our office Victim Support, 3rd Floor, 5-7 Singer Street, London, and in co-location at St Georges Hospital.

As a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:

• Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
• Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
• Be comfortable with running group training sessions and be willing and able to share your specialist knowledge with acute staff across the hospital.

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to sign an honorary contract with the Hospital Trust in addition to their contract of employment.

You will need:

• Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships). 
• Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
• Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
• Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
• Experience of direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.
• Have strong communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals.

Job Purpose

As BSR’s Head of Policy,  you will lead a portfolio of work that truly supports our members’ priorities and works towards creating the conditions that will enable rheumatology care across the UK to thrive and flourish. 

To excel in this role you will need to be comfortable working both at a strategic level and with detail and data. You will ensure BSR understands and responds to current and emerging needs in rheumatology practice, identifying gaps in quality, policy and research. You will develop BSR’s evidence and intelligence base about our members’ priorities, the state of rheumatology care across the UK and the challenges and opportunities in rheumatology. Through collaborating with colleagues you’ll help us ensure this insight informs our policy agenda, our strategic planning and operational decision making, ultimately achieving maximum possible impact in our work to drive-up standards in the delivery of rheumatology services and to inspire and activate changes that improve lives.

 Purpose of the Role

This senior leadership position is responsible for managing and overseeing OTR’s Wellbeing Services, which include our Engagement Team, Counselling Teams, and Clinical Supervisors.

OTR’s Engagement Team works creatively within the community to reach young people from a wide range of backgrounds, engaging them in OTR’s services through initiatives such as Hospital Youth Work, our soon to open Spaces of Calm and community-based volunteering. Our counselling and listening services are delivered both in community settings throughout BaNES and across schools, college, and the university.

The post holder will oversee and collaborate with our team of clinical supervisors and, alongside the CEO, play a key role in managing OTR’s clinical governance. You will also act as the organisation’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), ensuring robust safeguarding practices across all Wellbeing Services.

As Head of Services for Wellbeing, you will inspire, support, and manage the leads within your service area. This includes providing strong line management and strategic guidance to staff and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, impactful services for young people.

Working in partnership with the CEO, you will develop strong relationships with commissioners and funders to ensure the sustainability and growth of our Wellbeing Services. There is no direct care element to the Community Based Dementia Adviser role, however we work passionately to provide advice, support and guidance to people affected by dementia. This role supports people in their homes where we interact face to face, over the telephone and virtually to give people the tools and knowledge to make informed decisions about their future.
 
You will be

- Offering a vital and compassionate advice service to support and guide those affected by dementia.
- Provide community based, face to face services for an increased level of support for more complex cases.
- Managing referrals, assisting clients in assessing their information and support needs in a person-centred manner.
- Signposting clients to a choice of suitable other sources of help, where the need arises.
- Developing a proactive approach in reaching people with dementia and carers who may not otherwise access our services.

We are looking for:

- Someone who has working experience of assessing people face to face/over the telephone with an ability to assess their needs.
- Deliver advice and guidance with a non-judgmental approach and outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to manage your caseload of clients in a timely and effective manner.
- Possess the IT skills to be able to navigate and upload information onto a patient or client database.
- An understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers would be an advantage but if you have had experience supporting with other challenges this would be taken into consideration.
- Able to travel regularly across the London Borough of Lewisham to clients homes and services.

Contribute to the ongoing development of Age Well services by sharing best practices and participating in provider forums. With support from Hestia's Fundraising Team, explore opportunities for additional funding. Co-produce community-led activities that empower individuals to improve their health and wellbeing, supporting residents to initiate and run local interest-based groups. Recruit and supervise volunteers to enhance programme delivery. Conduct outreach, including home and hospital visits when needed, and explore digital solutions to strengthen service provision. Facilitate peer support through various formats, participate in service evaluations, and help implement participatory evaluation methods. Work in partnership with the council and stakeholders to assess and respond to community needs with flexibility.

A solid understanding of older adults' health needs—including dementia, falls prevention, and social isolation—is critical. A thorough understanding of safeguarding issues and the ability to respond appropriately is essential.

Mission Without Borders International is embarking on a season of renewal and growth. We have successfully implemented a new CRM system across our 12 affiliates who are scoped with raising financial and prayer support. The next phase of our systems upgrade will involve rolling out the new CRM system to our 6 field country operations in 2026. And then a new finance system. All of this with the goal of creating dashboards of data which provide real-time insights into the mission’s consolidated financial position and inform strategic decision-making. It is into this exciting new stage of the Mission that we seek a Director of Finance.

You will be a Christian, qualified accountant with proven experience as an international finance leader, having implemented new systems and worked across multiple jurisdictions. Experience of the charity/humanitarian sector and an understanding of the complexities of in-country programme management would be beneficial.
