The mental health and wellbeing of the communities across Hampshire is our top priority and we are investing in strengthening our service delivery teams.
We are looking for a Wellbeing Area Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to join us to support our front-line teams on an administrative, operational and wellbeing level.
Responsible for the management, running and awareness of the Core Wellbeing Service in Basingstoke and the associated Primary Care Network (PCN) teams. This includes outreach in surrounding areas, providing recovery focused groups and courses and 1 to 1s to service users using hybrid methods, ensuring accessibility and providing regular service updates and reports in line with the contract service specification.

Person Profile
Essential:
- A problem-solving and ‘can-do’ way of working and strong work ethic

Westway Trust are seeking experienced and qualified part-time Adult Learning Tutors – Digital Skills to join their expanding tutor team to deliver accredited and non-accredited courses to adult learners in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC) area.
The primary responsibility of the Digital Skills Tutor will be to design and deliver high quality, learner-centred teaching, and learning and assessment experiences to our employed and unemployed adult learners from Entry level to Level 1, while supporting the Adult and Community Learning Manager to achieve the Trust’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Teaching
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality teaching and learning sessions, workshops, and tutorials in line with the curriculum requirements and the needs of individual learners, ensuring learning objectives are met
- Assess learners’ abilities and identify areas for improvement, tailoring teaching and learning methods and resources accordingly
- Rigorously monitor and track learners’ progress, providing regular feedback and implementing strategies to address areas of weakness or underperformance
- Set and mark assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to learners to support their learning and improvement
- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, actively promoting learner participation, motivation, and confidence in professional development
- Maintain accurate records of learners' attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
Administration
- To carry out and keep records of initial and diagnostic assessments, identifying areas for improvement, tailoring teaching and learning methods and resources accordingly
- To identify materials and equipment/resource needs to assist the provision of teaching and learning by students
- To develop differentiated Individual Learning Plans with students, monitor and track learners’ progress, providing regular feedback and strategically addressing areas of weakness maintaining up to date course files and submitting accurate data on attendance and achievement within agreed deadlines
- Preparing groups of learners for accredited assessment (exam or portfolio) & non-accredited assessment (RARPA), marking assessments and taking part in internal moderation and/or consultation meetings with appropriate Trust staff
Qualifications:
- Teaching or training qualification for working in adult learning (e.g. PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS or equivalent suitable experience)
- A minimum GCSE English Grade C or equivalent.
- Level 3 or higher in a relevant subject (e.g. ICT) or willingness to work towards a Digital Skills teaching qualification (desirable).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Essential
- Practical work experience as an ICT Tutor, demonstrating hands-on knowledge and skills applicable to real-world scenarios
- Experience of teaching adult learners and an understanding of appropriate teaching strategies in a similar role
- Experience of devising course outlines and schemes of work
- Experience of managing mixed groups of learners
- Knowledge and experience of working with a variety of exam boards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team
Desirable
- Understanding of the RARPA (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement in non-accredited learning) system
- Experience of working/teaching refugees and or asylum seekers
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to impart essential knowledge to students
- The ability to speak a community language

Our work across Newcastle
Volunteering Matters play a vital role supporting volunteering in Newcastle. Since 2005, we have been operating Volunteer Centre Newcastle (VCN). This service provides a wide range of support around all things volunteering to 1250+ charities, organisations, and groups locally. Each year, we also support 2500+ members of the public who are interested in volunteering and need support to get started. We also lead the Home from Hospital and Community Support project where volunteers support older people with their transition home following a hospital admission.
In early 2025, we launched the Good Neighbours Newcastle project funded by Newcastle City Council. We deliver this project alongside our delivery partner organisation, Search Newcastle, with a second partner organisation scheduled to join in early 2026.
Good Neighbours project
We would all like to live in a place that has a sense of community, where people look out for their neighbours. The Good Neighbours project aims to foster a feeling of positive wellbeing and independence for those who may be socially isolated, or who don’t have many people around them, giving that “little bit of help”.
The project helps people in the community feel safe, supported, and more able to live an independent life, whilst preventing, reducing and delaying the need for formal support through Adult Social Care. It also provides people the opportunity to volunteer a little time, in a flexible way, to make a difference in their own community. We know volunteering can lead to enhanced skills, and positive wellbeing. Volunteers provide practical or social support, completing “one-off’ or short-term tasks, supporting a neighbour. This includes tasks like collecting essentials, driving someone to a GP appointment, helping with odd jobs around the house, light gardening, or checking in with someone for a cuppa and chat.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and professional Project Manager to join our team in Newcastle. The right candidate would be someone with excellent knowledge of “best practice” in Volunteer Management and with experience of establishing new and exciting volunteering programmes.

Turning Tides is a charity that supports people experiencing homelessness in West Sussex. ActionAid UK (AAUK) is a complex, values- driven organisation which is implementing an exciting new 2025-2028 strategy with one overarching goal:
Decolonise our systems and practices to tackle the root causes of inequality and justice. Four strategic goals will steer our direction:
- Champion women’s rights organisations and feminist movements driving systems
- change.
- Build donor, political and popular support for fair and just systems.
- Strengthen global solidarity networks.
- Re-envision and create equitable new ways of working.
Alongside the strategy, a transformation and innovation programme will embed a fundamental shift in the way the organisation operates, involving significant and sustainable changes to its culture, systems and practises. Transformative change at AAUK means change that is fundamental, lasting, and which challenges existing internal and external structural inequalities. These changes will also be guided by our Theory of Change and our feminist, decolonial and anti-racist principles.
A priority is to change the way we currently approach monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) at an organisational level, looking specifically at how we assess change and impact across our yearly organisational plans and within the four-year strategy.
AAUK is seeking a qualified consultant or a company to collaboratively design, develop and deliver a new approach to capturing change and impact at ActionAid UK, moving the organisation away from traditional types of metrics and methods.
We are looking for you to conduct a light-touch review of our current organisational methods and tools and develop a new organisational transformative change framework, training workshop and action plan. We would like this consultancy to:
- Develop an approach to capturing transformative change and impact over time which captures gradual/incremental or exponential changes.
- Capture systematic changes and shifts in thinking and behaviour/culture
- Enable staff to feel confident to gather and interpret evidence of change alongside diverse experiences including their own
- Enable AAUK to capture collective contributions to change, recognising that no single action or individual makes change happen.
- Help us use the information we gather to inform and improve our work and better understand our unique role within the complex ecosystem of organisations and partnerships in which we work.
Objectives of the assignment
- Review and support the transformation of our organisational monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning processes to align with our new strategy and decolonial approach.
- Develop an organisational transformative change framework/toolkit and action plan, enabling staff to confidently capture impact over time and foster a culture of innovation, learning and accountability across the organisation.
Deliverables
The consultant / firm will work in collaboration with colleagues from AAUK Leadership and Transformation teams to:
- Create a plan and methodology that is aligned to our strategic objectives, decolonial approach and transformation activities.
- Conduct a light-touch process review, including desk research and conversations with key members of staff – to understand our current organisational monitoring and reporting processes, methods and tools.
- Develop a new Transformative Change organisational framework/toolkit which includes methods and tools for measuring change at organisational and team level and establishes a baseline from which we can improve and which captures both successes and challenges.
- Develop a staff training workshop on the new framework and tools.
- Provide a workplan with future recommendations and actions.

The successful consultant/firm should demonstrate:
- At least 5 years of experience working on MEAL system design and implementation in the INGO or development sector.
- Experience of working with WROs or social rights movements.
- Strong knowledge of innovative qualitative and quantitative MEAL methodologies.
- Experience in participatory approaches and facilitating organisational learning.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Job Purpose:
Volunteering Matters, in partnership with Active Suffolk and Sport England, is recruiting for a Community Connector to work in the Chantry / Belstead Hills / Stoke Park area of Ipswich
The aim of the role is to gather insights into local people’s lived experiences, particularly around physical activity, by having meaningful conversations in everyday settings like cafés, outside schools, and at community events. These insights will help shape future initiatives that support community wellbeing and development.
Ideal candidates will have strong local ties—preferably living in the area they work—and be confident, approachable, and proactive. The role involves identifying community needs, building local networks, signposting residents to support, and feeding back discussions to project partners.
Flexibility is key, with some evening and weekend work expected. The role reports to the Delivery Leader at Volunteering Matters and works closely with Active Suffolk’s Development Officer for Ipswich. A DBS check will be required before starting.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Deputy Service Manager to support women and children who are impacted by domestic abuse and other forms of violence against women and girls.
The deputy manager will contribute to the management of the IDVA, Outreach and Helpline Single Point of Access community based services, in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures and quality management system. This involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors.
The post holder will provide line management and support to staff. This will include providing supervision on complex casework issues such as child protection, overseeing operational emergencies and ensuring high standards of support.
Working closely with the services manager to ensure that contractual and other funding requirements are met fully and that Refuge’s high quality standards are maintained, the role may involve visiting potential sites and contributing to the establishment of new services in conjunction with the development team.
The job involves working closely with members of staff that support victims and survivors of domestic abuse using our services, which will include overseeing the delivery of groupwork and participating in multi-agency forums and multi-agency training delivery.
The deputy manager will act as an ambassador for Refuge, demonstrating Refuge values in their work.
As a member of the management team, the post holder will be required to participate in an out-of-hours management service.

You will provide holistic and person-centred support to children, young people and adults across Staffordshire who have experienced hate crime or incidents due to their race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity. You will help victims of hate come to terms with what has happened to them and provide practical and emotional support to reduce both the immediate and long-term impacts of hate.
You will work closely with other partners including the police, local authorities, housing providers and other support services to ensure that victims receive appropriate support and effective responses. You will also raise awareness of hate crime and the USAH service so that more victims are able to report hate crime and access specialist support.
