As the Volunteering Development Manager you will provide day-to-day management, and work closely with partners to champion engagement with volunteering and support the development of Suffolk’s Volunteer Strategy. You will have a good level of knowledge of infrastructure support and be an experienced manager of people. You should have an awareness and understanding of the challenges facing the voluntary sector and be skilled in developing partnerships, be able to demonstrate sound financial acumen, and the ability to navigate multiple priorities.

The Role

You will be responsible for the voice of the organisation brand both on and offline. About the role
As the Media and Communications Manager (Global Impact) you will produce distinctive, compelling communications and coverage that promote our global campaigns, responses and programmes, and help us achieve our influencing and fundraising goals. 

In this role, you will:

• Work with the Head of Global Impact Communications to ensure our coverage and messages are aligned with SCUK's priorities for advocacy and fundraising

We are seeking an organised and proactive Facilities Manager to lead the proactive maintenance of our hostel, day centre, offices and residential properties. This is a vital role combining building management, health and safety compliance and development of our estate in alignment with our strategic plan.

You will have a good practical knowledge of building maintenance and ensure our facility remains a safe, functional and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff alike.

We are looking for a Coordinator to help our small Quaker peace organisation to continue to thrive when our current Coordinator retires at the end of 2026.

You will work with NFPB trustees and members to support Quakers in the North of Britain in their peace work, which covers a wide range of issues. As the only employee, you will need to be self-motivated, flexible and able to work with volunteers and other organisations. The role includes planning and arranging events, networking, communications and administrative tasks. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others work for peace.

We would like the new Coordinator to be in post by early October to allow a reasonable handover with the current Coordinator.

NB: Whilst the office is currently in Bolton, this may move if a different location is more appropriate for the succesful candidate

You’ll play a central role in delivering exceptional events, stewarding supporters and corporate partners, and supporting wider fundraising activity. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, creativity and hands on event management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver events from concept to evaluation.
• Maximise return on investment while building meaningful supporter relationships.
• Manage event budgets with a focus on cost efficiency.
• Develop engaging promotional materials across multiple channels.
• Work closely with marketing colleagues on event promotion and post event communications.
