A small and friendly local charity is looking for someone who is organised with excellent communication skills who is keen to learn, develop and/or share their fundraising skills. This role would suit someone who is looking for a career change or has recently graudated and would like to become an excellent charity fundraiser or an experienced fundraiser who is keen to develop their skills and expertise to inform an imaginative fundraising strategy.

Position: Community Fundraising Lead
Hours: Full-time (35 hours a week)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Office-based from one of our national offices (London, Cardiff, Belfast, or Edinburgh) with flexibility to work remotely.
Salary: Starting from £39,717 per annum plus Car Allowance and excellent benefits

Our Community Fundraising team around the UK works alongside MS Society supporters and volunteers in their communities to give them the very best fundraising experience with us. We’re looking for the right person to lead the team and elevate our fundraising success even further.
You’ll be an experienced charity fundraising professional, with significant experience in managing and leading a disperse team of regional fundraisers.
You’ll be able to develop a strategic plan for local fundraising and have a clear focus on how to get the best out of your team to deliver it.
You’ll be a confident speaker and presenter, able to inspire staff and volunteers across the MS Society to get involved and take on a challenge. You’ll be comfortable working with budgets and numbers.

Fundraising Executive
We are seeking a pro-active, experienced and hands-on individual to join the charity at this critical and exciting stage of growth and development, and to deliver the day-to-day management of individual giving campaigns in the fundraising team.
We are looking for someone proactive, tenacious, and empathetic, as you will be working for a charity that represents 100% of the NHS charity sector in the UK, helping the NHS tackle today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.
Position: Fundraising Executive
Location: Home based and flexible (able to work in Warwick and London offices occasionally and at other locations nationally when required)
Salary: £32 -35k per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week)

The Role
Sitting within Supporter Engagement, this role will assist in delivering the individual giving programme of activity, driving income generation through both acquisition and retention campaigns, ensuring long term support and maximising donor lifetime value.
Whilst the team work hard to ensure they can support the NHS through every challenge they may face, they also need to ensure that the team is able to manage the sometimes busy and high-energy. This is done by offering sector-leading flexibility. Your wellbeing is of the most importance, so all staff are offered 9am – 11am every Friday morning as wellbeing time, to do something that makes you feel good. About You

However, candidates with exceptional transferrable and personable skills looking to make a cross-over from the private sector are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of charity fundraising is ideal.

We are looking for a driven and passionate charity retail professional who is able to realise our exciting growth plans. The MS Society is embarking on an ambitious programme of charity shop growth and the right candidate will be instrumental in making our vision a reality. We’re very excited about what MS Society Retail is going to be doing in the next 2 years.
You’ll be an experienced charity retailer, with significant experience in managing and leading a diverse team. You’ll understand the key drivers behind charity shop success and how to optimise the MS Society’s retail portfolio to deliver that success.
You’ll be a confident speaker and presenter, bringing our business plan to life and inspiring our staff and volunteers to deliver our goals.
Importantly the right person for this role will be a committed charity retail fan, excited about the whole sector and the opportunities it offers to improve the MS Society’s income and engagement with the public and MS Community.

You’ll lead on volunteering best practice across the organisation, ensuring our volunteer infrastructure is robust and dynamic, enabling our volunteer projects and teams to support the MS community, whilst providing our volunteers with a rewarding experience.
We’re going through a period of transformation here at the MS Society and require a strategic and adaptable individual who is experienced in supporting volunteers and volunteer managers through change.
There are key areas of work to focus on, including developing volunteer journeys to align with transformation and ensuring our volunteers are supported throughout their time with us. You’ll also be supporting the development of new volunteering policies, practices and strategy, as well as developing new volunteer roles throughout the organisation.
