• Ensure the recruitment of high-quality colleagues by providing support and assistance to Service Managers as necessary. 

• Investigate potential disciplinary issues and complaints, recommending and implementing areas of improvement and best practice as required. 

• Assist in tendering for new opportunities, re-tendering for existing services, obtaining grant funding, and mobilising new contracts. 

• Develop services to deliver increased social benefit to communities in line with company business plans and departmental strategy. 

• Routinely review key performance indicators and legal/regulatory compliance, promptly addressing any areas of poor performance or non-compliance and escalating issues to the Head of Service as appropriate. 

• Set service and related budgets in line with company requirements and regulations, closely monitoring and controlling them, and taking early remedial action on any potential issues. 

• Conduct regular service audits, create and monitor relevant improvement plans with the Service Manager. 

In order to be successful in application for their Senior Service Manager role, you’ll need proven experience in delivering independent living contracts, alongside previous budget management and contractual income management experience, ensuring value for money at all times.  Having a knowledge and understanding of Chartered Institute of Housing and have or be willing to work towards Level 4 Qualification is also crucial. 

Their Senior Service Manager position is a hybrid position, contracted to 36.25 hours per week. To them, this means a weekly presence in the services under the remit of the role (they are open to discussion around how this is built into working weeks).

Sitting within BSR’s exciting External Affairs & Audit team the Clinical Audit Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the on-going work of the National Early Inflammatory Arthritis Audit (NEIAA) to gather evidence and drive up the quality of care for patients living with inflammatory arthritis. With touch points across the Rheumatology community, the NHS and health regulators, the NEIAA project is an essential tool in achieving this part of our five-year strategy. Main responsibilities

Look Ahead currently manages approx. 1,500 units on behalf of other landlords. The organisation typically enters into housing management agreements and other deliver vehicles [e.g. leases], as part of a wider contract to deliver care and support service to Local Authority and Health commissioners.

Housing management agreements and leases place responsibilities on both the landlord and management agent to provide services to tenants and licences and ensure compliance across all associated legislation (landlord & tenant, statutory landlord compliance and health and safety). To ensure compliance, agreements set distinct responsibilities for setting and collecting rent and service charges and the arrangement for maintaining properties to agreed standards.

The Agency Partnerships Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Look Ahead operates efficiently and achieves full compliance in relation to our housing management agreements, leases and office licences. The post holder will also act as the main point of liaison for the different landlords (both social landlords and private rented sector) and also act as the main interface between the Landlord Services and New Business Teams in ensuring that new services coming over with housing management obligations are properly established and integrated into the service.

The Agency Partnerships Manager will monitor the financial performance of housing management agreements and will take a lead role in negotiating appropriate allowances with Landlords and ensuring the full costs of delivery, including dilapidations and handback arrangements are understood and factored into business planning/financial modelling.

Furthermore, the Agency Partnerships Manager will have a key role in ensuring that operational service understand their responsibilities and will ensure a structured approach to quality monitoring and that Look Ahead/ Landlords are fulfilling their obligations.

The right candidate for this role will have the ability to travel.

Context of Job

AFK (Action For Kids) is a national charity helping young people with disabilities to develop their independence and find employment. Our vision is a world where all people living with a disability get to lead the life they choose.  As part of this we provide bespoke employment skills and organise work experience placements across North London.  At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 26.

Job Purpose

To support young people aged 18+ who have disabilities and/or are neurodiverse to gain employment. The role will be to primarily liaise with businesses and employers to broker new opportunities for supported and unsupported employment.  You will also work with a small caseload of young people, assessing their employability skills. You will work closely with the Employment & Skills team to place young people from the Employment Coaches caseloads into employment, as well as locate some voluntary roles and work placements. You will deliver one to one job coaching to enable young people to progress towards their own goals and objectives.

Working Conditions

The post is 35 hours a week, normally between 9.30am – 5.30pm. The post holder may be expected to work some evenings and weekends as required by the job. There is a TOIL policy. This role is peripatetic within London.

Principle Responsibilities

1. Engage with businesses and employers to source and secure employment opportunities for the young people AFK work with.
2. Encourage businesses and employers to offer volunteering, work tasters and work placements that may also lead to paid opportunities for young people.
3. Develop and maintain knowledge of the local labour market & opportunities relating to employment, work tasters, work placements and volunteering.
4. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local employer groups, statutory, voluntary and private organisations to support the development of suitable opportunities.
5. Participate in employer visits with young people to engage them in the different workplace roles to further aid their choices in employment.
6. Provide training / advice to employers as required.
7. Provide employment support for the Employment & Skills team and produce monthly updates in line with AFKs key performance indicators (KPIs).
8. Work with 1 or 2 young people to identify and support their aspirations for future employment.

10. Work closely with the Senior Employment Coach to match opportunities for young people from the caseloads of Employment Coaches.

At FearFree we are proud to deliver services across the Southwest, and we're excited to be expanding our offer, with the introduction of a new Education, Training and Employment (ETE) Service.  We have a full time vacancy (37 hours per week) and a part time vacancy (22.5 hours per week).

As a Support Advisor you will be a fundamental part of our team, supporting the delivery of the ETE programmes and the development of the service. The service will provide a range of trauma-informed and person-centred support, focused on supporting those impacted by abuse to access education, training, employment or volunteering.

You will be responsible for providing trauma informed support through group work and 1-1 support. Working alongside a team of practitioners across our geographical patch in Devon. The project aims to:

• Increase volunteers in FearFree and support people to access volunteering opportunities externally.
• Support individuals impacted by abuse to access training and employment.
• Help people access bespoke apprenticeships and internships.
• Support service users to increase and advance work related skills, such as the development of CVs, financial management and IT skills.
• Raise awareness of this agenda to a wider network.

The service will support victims of Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence and Stalking aged 15 and above, alongside perpetrators of Domestic Abuse – empowering victims and reducing the risk of recidivism for perpetrators.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in working with vulnerable people and an understanding / experience of the ETE sector. They will have an understanding of trauma informed practice and ideally have experience implementing this within group and 1-1 settings. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of Employability skills and will demonstrate the ability to proactively engage with both local employers and local support networks/organisations to promote the skills of the individuals they are supporting.

Main responsibilites and tasks

• Work closely with the service manager to set up and develop the service, supporting its ongoing growth and expansion.
• Triage and assess service users to consider their suitability for the ETE Service.
• Utilise a trauma informed approach to help people return to or access ETE.

• Build and further developing relationships/links with ETE providers and corporate partners to expand the provision for our service users.
• Risk assess those you are supporting and take proactive action to address risk and safeguarding concerns.
• Play an active role in the recruitment process of volunteers in addition to management of volunteers ensuring they are kept up to date and involved in the organisation, alongside able to support our service users.
• Ensure risk assessments are completed where required and safety plans are completed on time and regularly.
• Work closely with the services across FearFree, developing close working relationships and supporting clients who may be accessing support from our other services.
• Record all contact with service users and abide by confidentiality requirements.
• Record and monitor data to enable the service to be fully evaluated.

Head of UK Programmes is the senior lead on UK-wide grants and programmes, working closely with nation teams and fundraising to shape and deliver a sector leading portfolio of programmes that is evidence informed, and evidence generating, catalysing positive change for carer organisations and unpaid carers. This role requires an established social sector leader who is adept at demonstrating internal and external leadership,

You will be detail oriented and logical to provide robust programme quality and assurance expertise, yet equally comfortable to lead the organisation externally too. You will be passionate about positioning Carers Trust’s programmatic offer as relevant and additive, drawing on emerging and best practice from across our network of 126 carer organisations.

As a seasoned programmes professional your leadership accountability for UK Programmes spans from development through to implementation and you will work closely across the nations to steward and role model a joined up approach across Carers Trust’s programme cycle, leading to meaningful and coherent programming.

The role holder will instill a learning and continuous improvement culture across the programmes and impact community, to ensure that programmatic learning is used to inform our network offer, evolving research agenda and influencing activities. The post holder will lead a UK programmes team, and be able to work thematically on programmes for carers of all ages and will be comfortable with a matrix management approach to nation-specific programmes teams. The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating FearFree’ Volunteers, including supervision and coaching of volunteers.

Volunteers are essential to FearFree services both support service roles and non-support service roles such as admin and fundraising. Volunteers will be within the following roles:

· Helpline Support: Responsible for logging referrals and triaging cases, ensuring initial safety advice is given and the service user is directed to the most appropriate service, as well as responding to professional enquiries.

· Facilitating and Co-facilitating Group Work Programmes: This will include facilitating peer support groups and being second facilitator for group work programmes providing support to victims/survivors of domestic abuse, those who have experienced sexual violence and group programmes for perpetrator groups supporting those who wish to change their behaviour.

· Befriending Services: offering support to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse or sexual violence and are still impacted by the trauma of their experiences, providing support and encouragement to enable service users to create independent and fulfilling lives.

· Admin support: Supporting with our admin support teams such as HR support, finance support, covering reception and other tasks as required.

The Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with the Volunteer Manager, Head of Fundraising and other Volunteer Coordinators in other FearFree localities.

FearFree is committed to hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for meetings. Travel across Devon is required and occasional travel to our other offices may be required.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

Recruitment and training of volunteers

· Participating in the recruitment of volunteers in both service user facing roles and support roles. This will include advertising for roles, interviewing perspective volunteers and supporting with HR processes.

· Planning and delivering thorough training for all volunteers, dependent on the role they will be completing.

· Ensuring each volunteer continues to develop in their role.

· Liaise with Service Managers and Team Managers to identify roles where volunteers could be utilised.

Service delivery and management of volunteers

· Providing line management support and supervision to volunteers.

· Be point of contact for volunteers to raise concerns and discuss cases.

· Ensure the delivery of a high quality, responsive service to people who have experience domestic abuse and/or sexual violence.

· Manage volunteers to ensure service users individual issues and needs are clearly identified and plans meet these needs including matching volunteers with clients.

· Manage the quality assurance of support given by volunteers including safeguarding and compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice guidance.

· Network with other agencies in order to maintain effective communication and joint working for the benefit of service users.

· Produce stories and case studies to support the promotion of the service and to evidence the impact of the service.

· Engage with our Marketing and Fundraising Manager to support with coordinating events and to encourage wider team engagement and support.

Other

· Providing written reports and information as required, including information which can be used for the promotion of the organisation and to deliver key messages regarding the experiences of our service users.

· Undertake role relevant training to maintain knowledge, keep up to date with legislation, information and best practice relating to domestic abuse, sexual violence and other related work to maintain Continued Professional Development.

· Attend team meetings, monthly supervision and participate in organisational data collection as required.

Roma Outreach Worker (Full-time, 12-month fixed term contract)

This post will actively support Roma clients, providing a continued and consistent point of contact whilst assisting them in navigating the various change pathways available to them.

- Able to speak Romani or Romanian fluently or to a high level.
- Full and clean UK driving licence.
- Good understanding of the Roma communities.

- Knowledge of GDPR and data management.
