Our successful candidate will be highly motivated, passionate about working with communities and equally comfortable negotiating with senior stakeholders as rolling up their sleeves and running community events. They will have a proven track record in securing grant funding from a range of sources and managing the high-quality delivery of multiple grant funded programmes.

Who are Repton Community Trust
·Our thriving community centre has had more than 100,000 visitors since we opened in 2018.
·We opened Kent’s first community fridge in 2019.
·Our innovative Peoples Pantry and 24-hour food lockers supported thousands of people during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020/21.
·We opened our first community shop (social supermarket) in 2022.
·We expanded our services to include a mobile shop reaching rural communities in Ashford and Rural Rother in 2023.
·We rescue on average 0.75 tonnes of food per month in 2024.

As our MINT Recovery Navigator, you will deliver mental health support and interventions to people in primary care. You will work collaboratively with the client, GP, and other health and care professionals to ensure people with moderate-serious mental health needs are supported to connect to their community, to build resilience and to improve their wellbeing. The role will work with patients with mental health needs registered to one of the GP practices that sit within the PCN. This role is about supporting people with moderate to serious mental health needs who often fall between the primary and secondary care gap. You will work closely with clients experiencing domestic violence and offer specialised domestic violence support to survivors. You will work within a recovery and psychologically informed approach, taking a holistic view to support people’s recovery to live fulfilling lives.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Female MINT Recovery Navigator:
- Work as a core member of the MINT based in the locality hub alongside professionals from PCLS/Bristol Triage, Adult Social Care and AWP, and others to complete support conversations with clients referred into the MINT hub.
- Work closely with colleagues and build strong partnership working with other agencies such as GP’s, Health and Social Care, other Voluntary and Community Services and taking initiative to share learning, new ideas and trends.
- To complete support conversations with the client. The support conversation is a simple intervention to assess what matters to a person with regard to their lie, support needs, goals, strengths, and desired outcomes whilst addressing their concerns. The conversation includes the Dialog tool that helps monitor outcomes. This tool can be revisited at any point but is essential at the start and completion of support.
- Attend and contribute in a positive and proactive way to daily handovers and Multi-Disciplinary Discussions (MDD) within the MINT Hub.
- Identify, assess, contribute, maintain, provide feedback, and manage risk to ensure it is minimised.
- To navigate the ‘wider system’ which includes signposting or supporting the client to access support in relation to housing, debt advice, employment, family/relationship breakdown and domestic violence etc.
- Manage casework, documentation, and time effectively, ensuring up to date and clear record keeping in line with policies, making the best use of own supervision, reflective practice, training, and staff development.
- Deliver specialised domestic violence support to survivors.
- Maintain hope and optimism for the individual with high expectations for recovery.
- Assist the MINT Team Manager and Missing Link Partnership Manager to monitor and evaluate the service.
What we are looking for in our ideal MINT Recovery Navigator:
- Numeracy and literacy to GCSE level/NVQ 2 or equivalent
- IT skills including ability to produce various documents in Word, and use of email and internet
- The ability to undertake effective casework management and support planning with evidence of a methodical and well organised approach to work
- Maintaining professional boundaries, show resilience and reliability under pressure
- Demonstrable understanding of the diverse needs of survivors and children experiencing domestic violence
- Proven knowledge of support needs of people with mental health needs
- Proven knowledge of equal opportunities issues
- Proven knowledge of health and safety issues, especially those relevant to mental health
- Proven knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures relating to adults and children and young people
- Proven experience of carrying out needs and/or risk assessments and the support planning process
- Hold a full driving licence and have access to appropriate motorised vehicle

About this key role
Our successful candidate will be embedded in the trauma team, working closely with clinicians and hospital staff to provide support for those young people admitted to the Major Trauma Centre right through to their discharge back into the community, including access to appropriate longer-term support. You will be expected to identify and provide a comprehensive and holistic assessment, advice, referral and support service to young victims of violence people, exploring innovative and effective ways of supporting them which will reduce their risk of re-victimisation.
You will produce support and risk management plans based on your assessments, promoting inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process, and develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies. We will also count on you to deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, providing a practical service that will include social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, benefits work, debt advice, liaising with utilities, appearing in court, and cleaning.
What we are looking for
You will be passionate about support and uplifting Children and Young people and want to make a difference within the community for the betterment of Children and Young People. You’ll also have an understanding of the challenges that are faced by some CYP and be relatable. You’ll need:
- Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families
- Substantial experience of providing support, advice and advocacy
- Substantial experience of supporting CYP and assessing the needs of children and young people who at risk of significant harm
- An understanding of how trauma impacts on a young person and what that can look like
- A relevant qualification to a good standard or be working towards one
- A knowledge of relevant services for young people and their families in the service provision area
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Having formally opened our doors in 1981, we are a meeting place for older and retired members of the community and a day centre that provides a balanced Caribbean meal, recreational and cultural activities and lots more. We are now seeking a part-time Events Coordinator to join our team for a one-year, fixed term contract, working 21 hours per week.
About the role

We are looking for a highly organised and creative Events Coordinator to join our growing team to plan, deliver and evaluate the effectiveness of events targeted specifically at our 60+ community e.g. trips/visits to parks, museums, Theatre, Seaside and more.
Our new Events Coordinator will support the planning and delivery of a key part of our work, namely: the management of our events programme designed to combat and prevent isolation, loneliness and depression amongst our elders. They will work closely with our sponsor, Global Radio – LBC, Capital Xtra, Heart, Smooth, Classic FM, talkSPORT and more.
Specifically, you will:
- Develop an Events programme, trips, visits, excursions designed to combat discrimination, isolation, depression and loneliness.
- Publicise our programme of events, and activities via digital media, leaflet distribution, open days, and word of mouth etc.
- Support and encourage our members to attend the Events programme of activities.
- Recruit train and organise team of volunteers to support and expand the Events programme.
- Plan, organise administer and accompany members on trips, visits and excursions within and outside the UK and you may be required to work outside normal office hours.

- Evaluate the success of events through feedback mechanisms, attendance records, and make recommendations

We are looking for an organised and creative individual to join our service supporting Unpaid Carers in Lewisham to improve their health and wellbeing, and access support that meets their needs.
The team works with unpaid Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers and you will carry out home visits and community meetings, complete assessments, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Unpaid Carers, families, and professionals. You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities.
To facilitate group work, you will plan and deliver a programme of events, groups, activities, training and workshops. You’ll need to research and book trainers, venues, activities and resources, negotiate value for money, promote the calendar of events and manage bookings. The sessions will offer opportunities for Unpaid Carers to meet with peers, develop confidence, learn new skills, reduce social isolation, and improve their own wellbeing.
Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Unpaid Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector, as well as experience of planning and delivering a programme of group work.
You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Unpaid Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services. You should be an excellent communicator and able to motivate and empower others.
This is a full-time role. Driver and own car essential.

We are looking for a skilled policy and public affairs professional to join the St Mungo’s Policy and Research team. At a time when rough sleeping is high on the political agenda, we are looking for a dynamic individual who can make the most of the opportunity to raise St Mungo’s profile among decision makers and political stakeholders and influence policy that has an impact on the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
In the role of Policy and Public Affairs Officer you will contribute to the development of St Mungo’s public affairs and policy plans, ensuring that our clients are at the heart of all our influencing work to central and beyond.
You will coordinate public affairs work, creating opportunities to influence national and local government policy; helping achieve our organisational goal to rebuild lives and end rough sleeping for good. Other key responsibilities will include:
- Organising public affairs activities that support the organisation’s overall policy influencing objectives.
- Working closely with other teams to ensure public affairs activity is timely, consistent and, where appropriate, joined up with other external communications.
- Maintain a database of up to date policy positions, developed in partnership with the Policy and Research teams and frontline staff, and support with the development of policy positions.
- You will help design and implement robust and thorough public affairs plans, coordinate a programme of visits and meetings with key stakeholders across Westminster and Whitehall and proactively spot new engagement opportunities will be crucial to this role.
About you
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who will be motivated to build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and the ability to effectively represent the organisation. We encourage you to apply if you can demonstrate:

Gaddum is looking for a qualified PWP to join our well-established Talking Therapies team operating in Manchester and expand our offer for clients. You will work alongside a team of dedicated counsellors within a stepped care model to provide initial assessments and a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for common mental health problems, including one-to-one work and the potential for groupwork.
You will be skilled in delivering low intensity therapy, with the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, and will have successfully completed an approved IAPT PWP Post Graduate Certificate (or be near to qualification with all elements of the course successfully passed/on track to qualify on time).

Established in 1988, YES is a youth charity offering support, advice and one-to-one engagement on a range of issues including housing and homelessness, benefits and family crisis, pregnancy and young parenting, mental health counselling and maintaining wellbeing. YES offers its support to all young people between the ages of 11 -25 across North East Essex.
The ideal candidate will:
· Be a strategic, inspirational leader and team player, with experience of successfully managing and communicating organisational development
· Demonstrate senior management experience, preferably at Director / Chief Executive level
· Have previously worked in the third/ voluntary sector, preferably in the field of working with young people
· Have achieved success in developing and delivering effective, high impact services
· Have a proven track record of securing funding through a range of activities
· Have knowledge of charitable governance and experience of working closely with Trustees
