Rinova Ltd are currently seeking an experienced or aspiring Project Manager used to working with young people and adults entering or re-entering the world of work. The successful candidate will be committed to helping people achieve their potential and will have the skills and experience to provide; 1-1 advice and guidance and group work, practical training and all aspects of employability support and upskilling. The candidate will also be working to support and match individuals into suitable apprenticeship opportunities across London.

We need a committed, enthusiastic, and positive individual to join our fantastic team of professionals - empathy, great communication skills and a passion for helping people achieve their potential are must-haves. The successful candidate will take on the role of project manager, working with a dedicated team to deliver the employability and apprenticeship projects. As well as being involved in practical delivery, the candidate will work with the compliance and finance team to ensure quality of delivery and evidence collection. Along with practical delivery, the successful candidate will be involved in the design and implementation of the recruitment/outreach strategies and also for the development of appropriate training materials.

Familiarity with the delivery of funded provision is essential especially the ability to collaboratively design and deliver inspiring, engaging and tailored sessions, covering a range of transferable and employability skills provision is essential. The role will be offered on a full-time basis mainly working across London boroughs and travel within London, with the opportunity to work remotely on occasions.

Job description

IAG Delivery and line management

· To be accountable for achieving agreed outcomes, outputs and personal targets – including recruitment, employability training and learner progression targets

· To manage a caseload of participants requiring Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG), confidence building and employability training

· Completing appropriate action plans and reviews with participants

· To act as the single point of contact for small caseload of participants

· To complete all paperwork for client in your caseload, ensuring that accurate records are kept

· To identify suitable referral partners i.e. Job centre, training providers from which to recruit job seekers and course participants

·To communicate with stakeholders, clients and team members, keeping them informed of changes in delivery or action plans

·To liaise with learners interested in apprenticeships to support them and assist them into suitable placements

Development of training materials and delivery

· To develop workshop training materials that support delivery of the outcomes

· To ensure that accurate records are kept for all training events and workshops, with appropriate attendance sheets signed and stored

· To use available networks to recruit course participants from appropriate organisations

· To use available networks to support participants into appropriate progression destinations

· To liaise with stakeholders and partners to develop effective referral mechanisms and future possible collaborations

Project management, partnership building and funding

· To work directly with the Senior Leadership Team to support in the management of Rinovas GLA-funded projects, compiling reports and attending meetings as required

· Ensuring that all paperwork is completed to the required standard and submitted to compliance team in a timely manner

· To monitor project progress towards targets – to identify problems and ensure they are appropriately resolved

· To communicate with stakeholders and team members, keeping them informed of changes in delivery or targets

Person Specification (skills knowledge and experience required)

The Role:

The successful Training lead will head our “Rise for Change” domestic abuse training programme and have the exciting opportunity to continue to grow the programme’s success to date. Rise for Change is a trauma informed domestic abuse training programme for non-specialist professionals. Uniquely created by our subject matter experts, our training directly addresses the need for intersectional and trauma informed domestic abuse training for professionals in all sectors. Our aim is to empower participants, no matter their professional role, to be able to respond safely and appropriately to domestic abuse both within the workplace and in the wider scope of their lives.

The role will be responsible for the delivery and upkeep of our current training packages, development of further training  and the management of current/ new stakeholder relationships. This role will also serve as a subject matter expert on domestic abuse across our global digital programmes.

• Work in line with our values.
• Deliver remote training to professionals, organisations and businesses (some flexibility may be required for limited ad-hoc in-person training).
• Upkeep current training packages and development key content as required.
• Complete needs analysis of the sector and ensure our packages remain in line with need and best practice.
• Maintain new and established relationships with key partners and stakeholders through regular meetings, problem-solving and support to ensure the longevity of relationships and continuous buy-in.
• Engaging with organisations and stakeholders to gain their custom, establish needs and tailor packages/delivery to suit their needs.
• Develop and co-ordinate communications through various channels such as social media, Linked-in and event sites to gain custom.
• Maintain accurate recording and reporting of training/project delivery, including a training delivery calendar, CRM and all administrative processes and wrap around support.
• Providing ongoing advice and support to organisations in receipt of training and obtaining/responding to feedback.

This is what you will bring as the Training Lead at Hope After Harm:

• A thorough understanding of domestic abuse and gender-based violence through a trauma informed and intersectional lens, including the impact and mitigation of vicarious trauma.
• An experienced, highly skilled trainer with the ability to engage people through remote and in-person delivery.
• Hold a “Train the Trainer” qualification or be willing to obtain one during onboarding.
• Have a good understanding of the nuances of culture, race, sexual orientation and gender identity within domestic abuse and sexual violence, and be committed to intersectional ways of working.
• Knowledge of adult learning techniques.
• Have excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals.
• Plans and prioritises work effectively, with the ability to manage projects and multiple deadlines
• Motivate individuals and agencies to move through courses of action and decision-making processes.
• Independent worker who takes responsibility for own workload and takes initiative to gain additional opportunities for the programme.

• Take a lead role within the team, working closely with support workers and assistant support workers to identify the quickest and most appropriate route off the street for people found rough sleeping, and devise plans to achieve this 
• Provide direct support to people who are found rough sleeping to enable them to move away from the streets and into accommodation 
• Work alongside partner agencies to ensure that clients are accessing appropriate support to access and sustain accommodation. 
• Represent the team at multi-agency meetings 
• Accurately record all work completed within given timeframes 

To succeed as the Lead Worker, you will have:

• A strong commitment to providing a high standard of service 
• Experience working with people who have rough slept or vulnerable adults and supporting them to access services 
• Excellent organisation and time management skills in order to remain strongly outcome focused, with the ability to coordinate a high number of cases and complete tasks promptly and efficiently.

• Experience in forming strong working relationships with partner agencies, being able to challenge them when required

About this role…

Assessment Centres are fast paced services where people are referred in, usually from the street, and rapidly referred on to appropriate longer term accommodation. The services are short stay, and staff provide wrap around support and liaison with several external partners, including physical health, mental health, substance use and housing. Staffed 24 hours to ensure this quick turnaround, they are a key service to ensure people are off the streets and in stable accommodation.

We are looking for a Night Support Worker to join both the brand new Snow Hill Court team and the City Inn Assessment Service team.

You will:

• Complete outreach shifts, providing a rapid response to referrals for people who are rough sleeping across four districts.

• Working closely with Lead Workers and Assistant Support Workers to identify the quickest and most appropriate route off the street for people found rough sleeping, and devise plans to achieve this. 

• Provide direct support to people who are found rough sleeping to enable them to move away from the streets and into accommodation. 

• Work alongside partner agencies to ensure that clients are accessing appropriate support to access and sustain accommodation. 

• Accurately record all work completed within given timeframes. 

• Have a UK Driving Licence.

About SARSAS

SARSAS exists to relieve the trauma and distress, and help rebuild the lives, of survivors who live in Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and BANES, who have experienced any form of sexual violence, at any point in their lives.

SARSAS also campaigns and raises awareness about rape and sexual violence to change the narrative about sexual violence and enable survivor’s voices to be heard. Partnership work with a range of agencies locally and nationally is a priority to enable social change.

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. Right now, we’re looking for a self-confident and energetic individual with a good understanding of gambling, substance misuse and health related issues, to provide a vital support service for individuals with gambling related needs.

Working flexibly across the community and within multi-agency partnership settings on an outreach basis, we’ll rely on you to engage people in a variety of interventions, using a person-centred approach. A core part of the role will involve addressing holistic support needs that could include employment related issues, family work interventions, issues of exploitation, physical and emotional health, domestic abuse and support to engage in rehabilitation. Whatever it takes, in fact, to empower them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes.

To succeed, you’ll need significant experience of engaging effectively with clients in an addictions or social care setting. You’ll also need knowledge of primary, secondary and other outreach settings and a good understanding of the functional model. Used to liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals, you have a flexible approach and lots of initiative. You also have good IT skills (particularly Microsoft Office) and are willing to travel throughout the area in order to get the job done.

You will hold a caseload of complex cases requiring a case co-ordination approach. Requiring you to complete all recording and case management administration for your caseload accurately and promptly,

• Providing screening, co-produced assessment, psychosocial interventions, integrated and outcome focussed care planning, after-care support, and onward transition to other services as required

We’re looking for an experienced trainer to lead on the implementation and delivery of the Learning and Development framework issued by the House of Bishops.

• Be responsible for the organisation, implementation and delivery of the national safeguarding learning and development framework  
• Provide high quality face to face and online training to office holders (Clergy, Readers, those with Permission to Officiate), employees and volunteers in the Diocese of Coventry.

What does this role involve?

As Veterinary Behaviourist you’ll:

• Work with the Community Clinical Animal Behaviour and post-adoption support teams in devising the optimal behaviour rehabilitation strategy for dogs in their care while liaising with external veterinary practices as required to support the work of clinical teams.
• Support and advise staff across Dogs Trust on matters relating to psychoactive medication and links between disease, physiology and behavioural signs, under the direction of the Head of Clinical Behaviour Services.
• Provide behaviour consultations to owned dogs with behaviour problems especially those with a medical component that requires specialist input.
• Assist with staff training through workshops, clinical case reviews, mentorship and conferences.

About you:

With a good knowledge of dog behaviour, training and welfare you will have a veterinary qualification with postgraduate experience as a veterinary surgeon. With basic knowledge of statistical methods and ability to evaluate published research you will have enthusiasm for professional development, research and developing specialist skills in veterinary behavioural medicine.

About the Team:

Canine behaviour knowledge and practice is central to rehabilitating dogs within our rehoming centres, and for the provision of Dog School training and education classes. Science led behaviour knowledge also informs a range of other areas of Dogs Trust activity, including campaigns, international projects and the work of the education teams. The role of the Clinical Behaviour Services team is to provide clinical behaviour services for members of the public including adopters of Dogs Trust dogs and in association with Dog School.
