Key Purpose:
Engage with staff and volunteers at a local and national level across RABI as well as with key external stakeholders and partners to influence compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures. Support the Senior Service Delivery Manager to implement RABI’s reporting through maintenance of effective internal recording and reporting systems (CPOMS). We are looking for a new team member to provide full administrative and programme support to the Employment & Careers team. The role will involve supporting the team in the day to day running of the service including the preparation of contract documentation (such as registration forms, as well as specified supporting evidence: ID proofs, Proofs of Address etc.) for submission to funding partners, uploading data spreadsheets and CMS systems, and supporting the team with promotion, outreach and engagement of our services. This includes conducting follow-ups and answering queries (by phone, email and in person) from both current and prospective participants on the programmes being delivered by High Trees. They will also be responsible for the preparation of finance related performance evidence for monthly/quarterly submission.
The successful applicant will have experience of providing efficient administrative support, be very organised and able to work to deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Must also be flexible and excited about being at the heart of a small but fast paced team which is committed to providing an excellent service to High Trees’ users.

Our Welfare Officers provide direct and impactful welfare support to RAF personnel and their immediate family. As a trusted and confidential source of support, you will assist our service users with challenges they are facing, from mental ill-health, difficult relationships, domestic abuse, financial and cost-of-living concerns, resettlement, housing, childcare, equality issues, bereavement, military discharge or deployment and many more - no day will be the same, as such this is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the Welfare sector.
Our intervention is provided with consent on a non-statutory basis, and you will work with and engage our service users to develop appropriate interventions for individual outcomes.
Our service is transitioning to become more accessible and inclusive, digital technology plays a key role in this, as such you will use digital technologies to complement and enhance processes and service user experience.
You will play an active role within the community, promoting the service through the delivery of presentations and representing the service at public engagement events. You will also work closely with RAF welfare teams, local authorities, health, education, civilian agencies, charities and other military organisations to ensure the best outcome for the service user.

About you
To thrive in this role you will have relevant experience of supporting adults, families and children/young people. You will be able to take a flexible and creative approach to problem solving. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver presentations with confidence.
You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have experience of carrying out assessments, preparing plans, monitoring and reviewing outcomes.
There will be some travel required and therefore you will need to be able to drive and have access to your own car.

Key Tasks
• To provide an open access front door for AUKEL advice in our Newham Office during office hours.

• To provide information, advice and support to older people and their carers enabling them to access services and remain independent.

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for Global Black Thrive involvement in the Culture of Care Programme liaising with the Lived Experience Advisors, the Race Equity Lead, Neurodiverse Connections, the Royal College of Psychiatrists and NHS England.
This will include HR, Operations and Admin functions relating to the Culture of Care (CoC) Programme and will include managing systems to efficiently run the business and achieve strategic objectives agreed by Black Thrive Board of Directors.
The role will be the first point of contact for our CoC team, organising travel and accommodation, managing HR and office queries.
You may be involved in managing onboarding and offboarding, preparing employment contracts (Full-time and/or part-time, zero hours and/or fixed terms contracts), checking and following right-to-work in the UK, and administrating DBS checks.
You will be working with the HR and Admin Manager in Global Black Thrive and may be required to assist in wider team activities where required.
