The role
This role will provide executive support to the CEO and Action Together’s Board as well as project managing internal business priorities.
The ideal candidate
We’re looking for someone with outstanding organisational skills and excellent attention to detail who is able to manage multiple priorities, can produce written work to a high standard and is also able to proactively identify issues, implement solutions and get things done.
Salary: £35,745-£38,223 per annum
NJC Grade:PO1 SP 27-30
Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday, occasional evening and weekend work may be required)
Length of contract: 12 months fixed term
Location: Hybrid working – work from home and at one of our office bases (Oldham, Rochdale or Tameside)

The Role
Building relationships with the fire and rescue services in your area, you’ll become an integral part of the local fire services community. You’ll join a nation-wide team of inspiring and innovative fundraisers, working collaboratively to secure the much-needed income for the Charity.
Helping to coordinate events, support fundraising initiatives and implement new ideas, you’ll support your people, stations, and offices to raise awareness of the Charity and achieve and exceed income targets, as well as working with local businesses and people to maximise our fundraising potential.
By generating the income, we need to realise our ambitions you will help us to be there for even more members of the fire and rescue community.

About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and innovative fundraiser to join our team, full of ideas and a positive attitude.
You’ll need excellent business and project planning skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and adapt your communication style to your audience.
You’ll be responsible for maximising the potential fundraising income from every initiative you support, so you must be able to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and build strong networks.
You’ll also be able to support and inspire our volunteers, ensuring that these vital links between our Charity and the fire and rescue services are happy and fulfilled in their roles.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you’ll be an excellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.

We’re looking for a Senior Policy Advisor to join our policy and campaigns team to help drive our position as an influential, informed and powerful voice for change. The post holder will join a high performing team to help develop and implement policy and influencing strategies that drive change, ensuring a strong voice for people experiencing poverty. You will be committed to social justice and will have experience of policy analysis and public affairs work in relevant social policy areas, particularly social security. An exciting position has arisen for a PR and Communications Assistant to join the team at a leading international Charity. This is a permanent position to provide essential administrative support to the PR and Communications team, and support in developing press releases and maintaining relationships with media outlets.

The role
As Digital and Social Media Executive, you’ll have a broad and varied role, working with our Marketing and Digital Manager to develop and implement our digital and social media strategy at a critical time for the Football Foundation and for grassroots sports. Working within the Brand, Marketing and Communications Team, you’ll manage and maintain all our digital and social media channels and support the Marketing and Digital Manager in briefing agencies to create engaging content for our channels.
You’ll work with the wider team to plan impactful campaigns, and deliver the digital and social media elements and any email/CRM campaigns. You’ll also produce campaign analysis reports, including your insight, analytics and recommendations. Due to the breadth of the role and the variety of the projects, you can expect it to be an exciting role, with no two days the same.

What can we offer you?
The salary band for this role is £35,000 - £39,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.
You’ll start on 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. The initial focus of the Community Builder role is to research and establish a deep understanding of the area, collaborating with local residents and existing organisations to uncover the key community assets and skills of local residents.
