Salary:
- starting at £24,724 pro-rata per annum, raising to £27,232 FTE - 25 hours per week: £16,705 - £18,400 per annum or for 35 hours per week: £23,387.57 - £25,760 FTE per annum for part time, pro rata
- If home-based, additionally £480 home-based allowance pro-rata per annum
- If office-based, additionally £3,679 Inner London Weighting pro-rata per annum

We typically work fully remotely but offer the flexibility to have an office base.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our friendly team and help support the growth of our LifeSkills Plus offer across London. You will identify and provide intensive support to adults with complex needs who are further away from employment or training by using a strength based approach, ensuring those accessing the programme receive appropriate practical and emotional support using a mixed programme of home visiting, informal and structured support groups.
Your impact:
You will deliver a range of face to face support and interventions to individuals with complex needs that focus on their strengths and which enable them to consider options and think differently, helping them to feel more empowered and able to face new challenges.
You will support and deliver face to face activities that increase confidence, improve mental health, widen social networks, help with budgeting and enable individuals to seek training, work or volunteering opportunities.

You will have experience of working in services that deliver positive outcomes for individuals and their families.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and sustain relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
You will have the ability to work collaboratively with individuals to identify their support needs, plan, implement and monitor emotional and practical support.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Social Prescribing Link Worker to join our team in Merton.
The Merton Social Prescribing service is one of the most established and mature services in the UK and is celebrating its 7th anniversary this year. We are seeking an individual to join our successful service in Southwest London. This role will help to strengthen the links between Primary Care, voluntary and public services to improve patients’ health and wellbeing.
You will support patients within Primary Care in Merton, and you will support each patient to access appropriate services provided by voluntary and community organisations and other agencies. We expand the options available in Primary Care by creating a ‘managed’ way for referrals of patients with social, emotional and/or practical needs to a variety of local non-clinical services in the community. These include leisure, social activities, education, welfare, housing and employment advice and support.

Job title: Programme Facilitator

Job Purpose: The project aims to deliver a range of trauma-informed learning and development opportunities to women impacted by the criminal justice system. Delivered in our Manchester and Trafford women’s centres, these gender responsive activities, co-produced with women with lived experience, will provide personal and practical skill development that meets their needs and supports their aspirations around employment or education, including a focus on wellbeing and practical learning.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Co-ordinate and deliver a schedule of trauma informed and gender responsive workshops that aim to address wellbeing and reduce barriers women impacted by the CJS face in accessing employment or education opportunities.
- Maintain case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders, such as lived experience groups, education, training and employment networks and local services.
- Create opportunities for women impacted by the criminal justice system to input into the programme, such as co-production, and peer supporters
