An exciting opportunity has arisen for two key individuals to join the team at Basis Yorkshire as a Sexual Exploitation Specialist (16+). You will be providing bespoke trauma informed 1-1 and group work for women who have experienced, or who are experiencing sexual exploitation.

You will work from foodbanks the majority of the time and also have weekly day/s based with our Welfare Benefits team in our Bootle office.

The Role
As a Neighbourhood Facilitator, you will be seconded into Hackney CVS and:
- Lead two of the eight established Neighbourhood Forums, driving community engagement and cross-organisational collaboration to identify local issues and co-produce solutions.
- Work closely with resident groups, service providers, and the Neighbourhood Leadership Group, ensuring that community insights and VCS expertise shape local services and pathways.
- Organise engaging community forum meetings, conduct outreach, and foster strategic connections to enable positive system change.
- Serve as a bridge between residents, VCS organisations, and health and care partners, creating opportunities for co-creation and influencing system changes to address health inequalities.

This could be the perfect role for you! The Family Support Worker is an exciting role within a growing and dynamic team, where you can help to make a real difference to the lives of unpaid carers in Lambeth.
Having identified a gap in the identification of young carers and adult carers looking after someone with substance misuse issues, over the past year we have successfully piloted a project to identify and provide long-term support to these carers. We are now entering the second year of the project, and are looking for a new Family Support Worker to bring their expertise, enthuasism and ideas to the next stage of the project.
The Family Support Worker will work across our Young Carers and Adult Carers Service to provide support to families affected by substance misuse, through whole-family assessments and reviews. The successful candidate will ensure that adult and young carers, and their families, have access to a range of emotional and practical support appropriate to their needs.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of working within the substance misuse field and an understanding of associated health and social issues. They will preferably have experience of working with both adults, children and young people. We are seeking candidates with a professional qualification in health & social care, youth or community work, and/or direct experience of delivering family focused interventions.

The National Officer’s Secretary will deal with correspondence on behalf of the NO, including liaising with other departments where necessary. This job requires you to be involved in accurate preparation of paperwork, maintaining diary and organising meetings when necessary plus occasional travel to quarterly meetings. You will be providing advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including up to date Word applications, Excel and other database facilities, Outlook and Internet. The National Officer’s Secretary will be making travel and accommodation arrangements in liaison with Finance Department and eternal providers as necessary. You will also be managing discreet projects on the NO’s behalf.
This role is an immediate start and will be a temp role for up to 3 months with scope to become permanent. Office based near Holborn.

A significant aspect involves managing the Charity’s IT hardware and software to ensure they meet the organisation's needs, including planning upgrades and coordinating IT training events. Additionally, the role covers managing telecommunications and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. The ideal candidate would have experience providing IT support, be organised, have strong communication skills, and have a good understanding of Office 365 systems. In October 2022 Salford City Council commissioned Salford CVS to undertake research into the strengths of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector as part of their Joint Needs and Strengths Assessment.
Every three years since 2008, Salford CVS leads on State of the VCSE Sector research in Salford and also across Greater Manchester. Working with other local infrastructure organisations, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the VCSE sector. Our last research report was published in 2021 and we have started planning for the research to be conducted this year.
In August 2023 we further developed our VCSE sector research and insight work with the commencement of our Salford 99 longitudinal study. This research project is designed to understand the issues affecting the VCSE sector in Salford and aims to track 99 VCSE organisations every six months for a three-year period, so that we gain ‘live’ insight in between our three-yearly State of the VCSE sector large research project. Alongside this work we conduct a Pulse Check survey with a variety of VCSE organisations to get a snapshot of what is changing for them each quarter.
This exciting VCS Research and Insight role involves a combination of VCSE engagement and insight work across Salford.

This role is part of the Devon Domestic Abuse Service which provides support to high and medium risk victims of domestic abuse and their families.
This exciting new specialist role of Housing IDVA is designed to support victims of Domestic Abuse to remain safe in their own accommodation or secure suitable new housing.
The main tasks for this role include:
- Managing a caseload of high risk victims, providing specialist support around housing.
- Acting as a link person between the local authority housing teams, our Domestic Abuse services in Devon, supported accommodation and refuges.
- Offering dedicated support to victims in Places of Safety.
- Providing specialist training and professional consultancy to partner agencies.
