The vital work of the charity is partially enabled by income generated through fundraising; from supporter engagement and community events and activities, as well as philanthropic sources, such as trusts and foundations, and major donors.
As Supporter Engagement Officer you’ll play a key role in helping us to engage new and existing supporters as well as helping to deliver first-class stewardship to retain support and build trust. In addition you will develop appeals and communications that engage and inform supporters which help to raise more voluntary income.
Directly supporting the Direct Marketing and Legacy Manager and working closely with all of the Supporter Engagement team it would be beneficial if you have previous experience or an interest in Fundraising. Being a confident communicator with a “can-do” approach is essential as well as being able to demonstrate proven administrative skills, the ability to manage a varied workload and be highly organised.
We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are contractually required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month.
Some roles may be required to be in the office more often than others and this will be agreed with the hiring manager upon starting at Turn2us.

The Role
To join a small team of three fundraisers and two in marketing to help grow the unrestricted income for the charity to deliver thier vital services.
Be proactive in identifying opportunuties to grow income through fundraising from community, corporate and events.
Research, plan and implement new fundraising initiatives guided by the fundraising strategy and your own experience.
Recruit fundraisers and identify and manage all third-party events in Wiltshire.
Build new relationships and maintain existing relationships with the wider Wiltshire community.
The Candidate
Experience of fundraising from a range of community, corporate and events activities.
Demonstrable ability to be write reports, deliver presentations, and to communicate with and influence stakeholders.
Willingness to travel across Wiltshire, and, when needed, connect with regional service teams.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

The Foxton Centre has been providing support to people on the margins of Preston, including those who experience poverty, addiction, and mental health issues. Among the long list of services and support they offer the Foxton runs a homeless day centre, assertive outreach, a kid's club, rough sleepers' initiative, and housing first programme. About the Role
The Fundraising and Engagement Manager is a brand-new role which will lead in developing and delivering the fundraising strategy in line with the Foxton Centres' Business Plan. Working alongside the senior leadership team and service managers you'll support researching and compiling funding applications to trusts, foundations and public sources as well as building relationships with businesses and individuals who want to support the vital work the Foxton Centre carries out.
About You
This role would suit a natural relationship builder with a fundraising track record across any of the following income streams; trusts, grant making bodies, corporate or individual giving. You'll be well supported in this role by a brilliant board of trustees as well as the senior leadership team who have been responsible for managing income generation.

About this exciting opportunity
As Grants and Bids Manager, you will manage statutory funding applications of five, six and seven figure multi-year income compliant with commissioner/funder requirements and oversee the project management of applications – managing timelines, activities, delegating tasks and ensuring stakeholders meet them, support decision-making through providing relevant and informed advice and producing high quality funding proposals and applications.
We will also rely on you to plan and chair proposal development meetings with key internal stakeholders, to identify and successfully bring in new funding opportunities that align with our strategic objectives, and to provide the highest level of donor care and manage involvement of new funders to ensure that the giving potential of each individual funding body is maximised. About the role
As the first Marketing and Communications Manager to join the organisation, you'll be part of the organisation's focus on investment in key roles to help create a sustainable future for the organisation as they diversify their audiences and scale up their services. Our award winning fundraising division is currently looking for an Engagement and Stewardship Executive to join our Partnership and Philanthropy team in this newly created role for the charity.
