We are looking for a Domestic Abuse Support Worker to join an exciting partnership project in Stockport.
You will support victims of domestic abuse within the Stockport Borough offering a person centred and trauma informed package of support and advocacy.
The role
In this role you will complete risk and needs assessments with victims of domestic abuse who live in the borough of Stockport. You will liaise with referring agencies, actively contribute to risk management procedures and team working. You will carry out a large and varied range of practical support which may include safety planning, advocacy, risk assessment and risk management. We also offer emotional support to those people we work with, encouraging and supporting them to rebuild lost confidence and self-esteem. We are a consent driven service and therefore the needs of the person we are supporting is at the core of all the work that you will do.
As part of the Stockport Domestic Abuse Support team, you will also be supporting the partners of those who are undertaking behaviour change work on the Striving to Change Programme.
You will attend regular risk management meetings to ensure that both parties are fully supported and that the risk is appropriately managed.

Purpose of the Operations Manager role:
As Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the effective day to day management of key business support services including operations, IT data and premises. You’ll be responsible for maximising the potential fundraising income from every initiative you support, so you must be able to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and build strong networks.
You’ll also be able to support and inspire our volunteers, ensuring that these vital links between our Charity and the fire and rescue services are happy and fulfilled in their roles.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you’ll be an excellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.

The role
A pivotal role, leading a newly formed team, you will lead and develop a range of Therapeutic and wellbeing services, delivered to support individual adults and children, couples and families. You will be a passionate advocate for the role of counselling, therapeutic interventions and wellbeing support, and you’ll be experienced in having a voice at a strategic level. You’ll have a strategic and commercial focus with experience of growing and mobilising services. You will also have extensive knowledge of Safeguarding legislation and experience of managing Safeguarding issues. Above all you will have a solution focused attitude to providing positive leadership in a changing environment.

The Central Service Coordinator will ensure Gaddum delivers its organisational objectives by coordinating efficient and effective Human Resources, People and Central workstreams.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Finance and working as part of a small but high performing team: They will be a key reference point for the organisation’s leaders to ensure those they manage have the best possible opportunities to thrive during the course of their employment at Gaddum.
The postholder will be responsible for overseeing central systems and processes relating to organisation-wide People Services as required by the Senior Leadership Team and Trustee Board.
