Are you looking for an opportunity where your specialist skills will make a difference in helping to prevent homelessness and rebuild lives?
This is a 1 year fixed terms contract role.
This exciting pilot is a new approach to preventing rough sleeping, through the provision of accommodation with onsite specialist move-on support to those who are at immediate risk of sleeping rough. The service will provide a route and support for single homeless clients who are presenting to the Local Authority Housing Options or day centres and at imminent risk of rough sleeping, but not yet rough sleeping.
Where their homelessness cannot be prevented by the council and they are at imminent risk of sleeping rough, a referral can be made into the Rough Sleeping Prevention service.
The service will be based across three London locations in Islington, Lambeth and Kensington and Chelsea and staff will be expected to work across all three.

(K&C): medium – high support accommodation.

(Lambeth): medium support accommodation.

(Islington): Assessment hub space for up to 15 clients. Site will operate 24/7.
Each site will have staff delivering casework and support, providing each person with a comprehensive assessment of their needs and circumstances, and intensive specialist support to secure move on.
Onward accommodation offer will be tailored to a person’s individual circumstances, with a move on route identified based on what is suitable and attainable e.g. private rented sector accommodation, supported housing, Clearing House accommodation, reconnections in the UK or abroad and specialist accommodation for certain cohorts such as young people.
The service will work in partnership with the local authority to secure onward move-on options e.g. access the council PRS scheme, advocating for access to supported housing.
About you
This post requires a motivated and passionate experienced individual to support the managers to lead, support and manage a team across three projects. As Case Coordinator you will be supported by a team of Assessment and Reconnection Workers, night workers and duty workers to:

Work closely with the service managers to ensure the effective day to day running of the service.

Have experience of communicating, liaising and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to a high level.

Have experience of client case management and the resilience to achieve and meet agreed outcomes.

The ability to manage complex behaviours and motivate staff and clients to achieve outcomes with a creative and person-centred approach.

The ability to coordinate a project or team in a homelessness service and provide reconnection advice.

Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with others whilst managing your own time.

Operations Director & Community Minister – Oasis Hub Waterloo

We have an exciting opportunity to join Oasis Hub Waterloo, adding strategic leadership capacity to the Hub and holding the vision of Christ-centred community development, together with the Executive Director & Senior Minister.
We are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic leader to work with the present Executive Director & Senior Minister on the leadership of Oasis Church Waterloo, on HR, team development and leadership, and on the Hub budget/finance strategy.
Alongside the Executive Director & Senior Minister, they will also have a focus on developing Oasis Church Waterloo, including developing and leading church services, nurturing discipleship, pastoral care, involving children and young people, and bringing creativity to our church activities. They will also have great interpersonal skills, be passionate about creating opportunity, will be entrepreneurial, innovative, and fully committed to the ethos, values and aims of Oasis.

Key responsibilities:
· Alongside the Executive Director & Senior Minister, providing strategic oversight and development of the community team and church.
· Operational management, including wider team systems, policies and procedures.
· Financial management.
· Risk management.
· Governance.
· Support the Executive Director & Senior Minister to lead the life of the congregation of Oasis Church Waterloo.
The successful post holder must have:
· Experience of leading community delivery.
· Experience of working for/being on the leadership team of a church.
· Experience of growing projects from the initial start-up phase through to maturity.
· Ability to act strategically and to be involved in direct delivery.
· Recent experience of working with young people and communities.
· Experience of strategic management within a school, statutory, voluntary or commercial organisation.
