About the role:

To provide front-line support services to Motability, Warwick House and Stadium Way ensuring high levels of customer service.The role is a diverse role with an ever-changing environment, workload and demand so the ability to work under pressure and with a variety of priorities is essential.

As part of this role there is a requirement to work out of hours, in the evening, weekends and bank holidays as required, In addition you will be on call 24 hours a day on a 4-weekly rota.

What you will be doing:

Helpdesk and Building Management System (BMS) Usage 

• Use the Helpdesk system to monitor, input, respond and react to jobs logged.

• Utilise the BMS to control and adapt settings of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Identify and act on fault alerts within the system and identify the correct course of remedial action. 

• Be the main point of contact for any plant room issues. Take and record monthly utility readings. 

 Vehicles and Driving Duties 

• Safely drive the company minibus when required. 

• In accordance with the departments pre planned maintenance schedule, co-ordinate the MOTs, servicing, Road Fund License applications and tail lift services for the company vehicles. 

• Keep the pool vehicles and minibus in good condition to ensure roadworthiness. Record mileage, maintain logbook records. Prepare and maintain user guides for all company pool cars.

• Prepare Motability Foundation vehicles for end of lease return in a timely fashion and as to limit any penalties. 

• Receive in from suppliers and provide handover of hire vehicles and pool cars to staff including instructions on safe use and record damage, fuel levels etc. 

 Maintenance and Health and Safety Duties 

• Provide light maintenance as applicable.

• Ensure that all access and egress areas are kept clear and risk free.
• Provide retrieval, storage, and distribution of items to and from our storage locations.

• Ensure that all health and safety paperwork and logbooks are maintained.

• Conduct Health and Safety Walk Rounds for all new starters.

• Provide management information in line with the PUWER regulations. 

• Move, relocate, and reassemble meeting room furniture to suit desired layouts. 

• Perform PAT testing and update records accordingly. 

• Perform Health and Safety inspections. 

• Assist with reporting, risk assessment writing and fixed assets records. 

• Undertake the Warwick House weekly fire alarm tests and associated paperwork.

• Undertake electrical testing, life safety system inspections (Alarms, FFE & EL), LCoP L8 Water monitoring, fire equipment monitoring and update records accordingly.

• Assist with employee workplace adjustment process ensuring that the best solution is reached.

• Act as the assistant to the Lead Fire Marshal during drills and evacuations, in their absence take on this role.

• Complete daily walk rounds ensuring any faults are logged, and remedial action taken. 

• Assist in the management of the COSHH registers on site.

• In line with procedures and policies, control contractors working on site ensuring security, safety, and compliance.

• As needed complete homeworking assessments, home visits and assessment checks for those staff on a blended working agreement.

• Check the condition of the Warwick House roof in line with PPM ensuring correct safety process is followed.

• Undertake working at height duties in line with the Motability Foundations risk assessment and PASMA tower training.

• Complete actions assigned through the legislation compliance system.

 Audio Visual and Technical Support  

• Be the first point of contact for any Audio-Visual queries, trouble shoot the system and resolve any issues.

• Design, arrange and deliver training for end users on how to use the equipment. 

Security and Disaster Recovery Duties 

• As required program the pass control cards for staff.

• Undertake the new starter and leaver process.

• Utilise the organisations CCTV system as appropriate in accordance with the security policy.

• Act as a key holder in the opening of the building daily.

• On a roster basis, act as a key holder for alarm activation call outs during the working week, out of hours and at weekends including public holidays. 

• Investigate any potential security issues that may occur during the day.

• Play a vital role in the recovery of the business in case of service failure or systems loss. 

Your experience:

Essential:

• Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent including English and Maths. 
• Full Clean Driving Licence.
• Light maintenance experience, ideally with good knowledge of building management services
• Good knowledge of vehicles.
• Good MS Office suite skills -Word, Excel, Outlook. 

 Desirable: 

• IOSH Working Safely trained. 
• PAT certificated. 
• PASMA trained. 
• DSE assessor
• Advanced driving course. 
• Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) licence holder.
• Experience of CAFM or other FM based Helpdesk systems.

Position

The Psychologist will deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions, providing psychological assessments, formulations, and therapeutic support to asylum seekers and refugees with complex trauma-related mental health needs. This role will focus on the delivery of trauma-informed care, including interventions such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET).

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Duration: 12 months FTC, with possibility of 3-year extension (subject to project funding)

Location: Birmingham/Sandwell (5-day in-person role working in the project clinic)

Salary: £46,784.49 - £57,181.04 per annum

Job Purpose

The psychologist will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with caseworkers, assistant psychologists, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of psychological services into broader psycho-social support. A key responsibility is supporting and supervising assistant psychologists in the delivery of interventions, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and the service’s ethical standards.

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Data Officer to support the delivery of high-quality data operations at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. You'll play a vital role in managing and enhancing our CRM systems, ensuring data integrity, streamlining processes, and enabling colleagues across the organisation to work more effectively. This is an exciting time to join, as we prepare to implement a new CRM system that will transform the way we work.

As a Senior Data Officer, you will be part of our Data & Insight team within the Finance. Working closely with colleagues in Digital, ICT and Fundraising, providing technical expertise while developing and improving data flows and reporting processes. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with data tools, scripting, and automation, and who can collaborate well across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Data Operations & Standards Manager in maintaining data quality and system integrity across our databases.
• Deliver training and day-to-day support to users of our CRM systems, including making agreed system adjustments.
• Manage CRM user access, data cleansing, reporting and administration.
• Lead on technical development projects to improve automation and streamline processes using tools such as SQL, Power Automate or Python.
• Help design and maintain system integrations using APIs or middleware platforms.
• Reduce manual processes by developing efficient data flows across systems.
• Oversee imports and ensure accurate processing of new and updated data, including from external data agencies.
• Analyse and interpret data sets to support performance monitoring.
• Work with the Insight & Analytics Manager to support reporting processes and develop insights.

About You:

• Proven experience managing and improving database systems and processes.
• Strong SQL skills are essential.
• Confidence using automation tools like Power Query, Power Automate or similar.
• Familiarity with APIs or system integrations, and knowledge of ETL processes.
• Experience handling bulk data imports and reconciliation.
• A good understanding of GDPR and data management best practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• A strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail.

Experience with Dynamics 365, LogicApps, the Microsoft Power Platform or KingswaySoft would be an advantage - but training can be provided.

Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.

The shift pattern for this role includes 4 days on, 4 days off with 12 hour shifts.

What you'll do:

Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere
Carrying out holistic assessments of new customers which incorporate relevant statutory referral information
Conducting regular key work sessions that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals
Create support plans for providing appropriate services based on on-going assessment and reflecting the services and resources available to enable customer to progress in their recovery

A leading national membership organisation is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its small, high-performing finance team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to play a key role in a values-led charity that is entering an exciting phase of strategic transformation.

 

About the role

As Finance Business Partner, you will be the trusted financial advisor to senior stakeholders, supporting around 10–15 budget holders across four functions. You’ll help lead on budgeting, forecasting and monthly management reporting – translating complex data into meaningful insights to drive decision-making. The organisation is in the early stages of improving its systems and automating reporting, so a keen eye for process improvement and system integration will be especially valuable.

You’ll work closely with another Finance Business Partner, supporting their development while also bringing in strong external experience to add strategic value. Confidence, collaboration, and a hands-on approach will be key – this is a flat-structured, non-hierarchical environment where influence comes from relationships rather than titles.

 

Key priorities in your first six months:

• Lead the budgeting cycle for the 2025/26 financial year (beginning this autumn)
• Help streamline and automate monthly reporting processes (currently Excel-heavy)
• Partner with budget holders to deliver accurate forecasts and clear, actionable financial insight
• Support wider transformation projects including a payroll system change and CRM improvements

 

About you

We’re looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with experience in a business partnering or management accounting role, ideally within a charity or similar environment. You’ll be confident working with senior, non-finance stakeholders, able to build trust, explain financial information clearly, and help shape business decisions.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central and CRM) or other mid-tier ERP systems would be a plus, as would exposure to charity finance or public sector funding models.

The available role
As our new Head of Finance, you’ll be a key member of the Business Development Team - managing a small team and ensuring they deliver a high quality service. You will work closely with the Executive Team and Board of Trustees, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the hospice’s financial position.

You’ll be joining a values-led, CQC Outstanding rated hospice at a pivotal moment in our journey. Together, we are strengthening and evolving our services to meet changing needs across Wigan and Leigh, while staying rooted in our mission: to promote and provide outstanding care, specialist support and information for people experiencing and affected by life-limiting illness, dying, and bereavement.

As Head of Finance, you will lead the hospice’s budgeting process and audit process, as well as producing regular management accounts, forecasts, statutory returns and investments. You will work with managers from across the hospice to help them to better understand their own budgets and you will play a vital role in improving efficiencies and managing costs.

The role is available 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm (Friday 4pm finish), on a salary of £55,690 - £62,682 per annum. A hybrid approach to work, with the option to work from home 1–2days per week, depending on the needs of the service.
