Funders In Good is looking for a Programme Officer to join our programmes team and help deliver initiatives that support and grow social ventures.

Funders In Good provides capacity-building support, including training, diagnostics, tailored grants, and strategic support, to help social ventures enhance their growth and impact. By 2035, our goal is to help build 10 best-in-class community organisations serving Islam and Muslims in the UK. As a Programme Officer, you will work closely with the existing team to develop and deliver high-quality interventions. You will support key areas of work within our programme framework, contribute to the delivery of ongoing projects, and assist in other important areas of the organisation, such as our Funder Community and core operations.

About the Role 

We are looking for a Social Media and Engagement Officer with a genuine passion for conversation, connection, and community. This is not a broadcasting role — it’s about dialogue. You’ll be the voice of St John International across our social media channels, engaging with audiences in real time, responding thoughtfully to emerging conversations, and finding opportunities to amplify our work and our people. 

You’ll help us grow beyond our traditional audiences, reaching new spaces and communities, and positioning St John International as a global leader in first aid and humanitarian service. You’ll work closely with the Communications Team to bring our quarterly communications strategies to life and ensure every post, comment, and interaction reflects our shared purpose and values. 

The role reports to the Director of Communications and works closely with colleagues in the Fundraising Team and our network of international communicators across 44 St John Establishments. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Act as the first point of contact for St John International’s social media communities, responding to comments, messages, and discussions in a timely, engaging, and brand-aligned way. 

• Serve as a guardian of our brand voice — confident, compassionate, and inclusive — ensuring all communications reflect our global values. 

• Identify and nurture opportunities for meaningful engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms. 

• Collaborate with the Communications Team to plan and execute content that supports quarterly communications strategies. 

• Monitor conversations about St John and related sectors, identifying trends, opportunities for thought leadership, and potential risks. 

• Support and elevate St John’s network of expert speakers, identifying new digital and offline platforms to showcase their expertise with broader audiences. 

• Work closely with colleagues across Establishments to gather stories, visuals, and insights that highlight our global impact. 

• Ensure all content and engagement reflect an understanding of cultural diversity, political sensitivity, and our international context. 

• Use social media analytics tools to monitor performance, report on engagement growth and sentiment, and provide insights to inform future strategy. 

• Occasionally attend events or workshops (in the UK or abroad) to capture stories and build relationships with partners. 

About You 

• You’re a natural communicator who thrives on genuine interaction and knows how to build rapport online. 

• You have a strong grasp of brand voice and can adapt tone and messaging to suit different audiences and contexts. 

• You’re curious and empathetic — able to navigate complex or conflicting information and find clarity in nuance. 

• You’re globally minded, culturally sensitive, and politically aware, with a good understanding of how narratives play differently across international regions. 

• You have demonstrable experience managing social media channels for an organisation, ideally with an international, humanitarian, or non-profit focus. 

• You’re proactive and creative, with an eye for storytelling and a commitment to continuous improvement. 

• You can confidently use analytics tools to measure and interpret social media performance. 

• Experience with tools such as Meta Business Suite, MailChimp, or similar is desirable. 

• Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite would be an advantage but is not essential. 

• As our platforms develop, we’d love for you to be confident in short-form video editing. This would include turning raw footage from our St John Establishments or events into usable content for Reels, Shorts and LinkedIn videos. On the job training for this can be provided if needed.

Following a successful application to the Henry Smith Foundation we are seeking a passionate, committed and flexible Support Worker (35 hours per week) to join our team to support young people and families, primarily focusing on LGBTQ+ young people but working with the wider team to ensure all young people and families are supported.

The main aims of the post are to ensure:

• The charity delivers quality information, advice, guidance and advocacy services which improve outcomes for LGBTQ+ young people in Calderdale & Kirklees.
• LGBTQ+ young people who face additional access barriers are reached and given the opportunity to engage with the service, reducing their isolation and loneliness.
• LGBTQ+ young people have emotionally healthy relationships with their family, friends and intimate partners.

The above would be achieved through group work, youth groups, parent and family groups, 121 work, attending professional meetings such as Team Around The Family and Child In Need meetings, mediating between families and schools, networking, stand events such as Pride’s and Freshers events, offsite activities and family support sessions.

This is a service user and public facing role. The successful candidate will be expected to attend sessions, meetings and events across in Calderdale & Kirklees

The right candidate will have:

• JNC Level 3 Youth and Community Work qualification or a willingness to undertake training. We welcome applicants with equivalent qualifications and experience in relevant sectors inclusive of child care, teaching, social work, nursing etc (or due to complete 2026 - 2027).

• A minimum 12-months experience of working with children, young people aged 25 and under and/or families
• An ability to assess needs and involve young people in identifying appropriate self-action plans

A position has arisen at SolarAid for a Content and Social Media Manager, reporting to the Director of Communications.

This is a full-time, permanent role, open to candidates based anywhere in the UK, with the option to work remotely or from the London office. Attendance at key team days will be required.

The role focuses on planning, managing and delivering high-quality digital content across SolarAid’s channels, including the website, blog, email and social media. It is a hands-on role, combining day-to-day content production with channel management and collaboration across teams.

Alongside ongoing content and social media activity, the postholder will play an important role in supporting SolarAid’s website redevelopment. This will include reviewing and migrating existing content, helping decide what moves forward, and supporting content quality and consistency as the new site launches and beds in.

We are looking for someone with strong content and social media experience, good editorial judgement, and the ability to manage content across multiple platforms. You will be confident creating written, visual and short-form video content for different audiences, and comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues across communications, fundraising and country teams.

We’re looking for a creative and data-driven Senior Social Media Officer to take the lead on managing and evolving our social media presence across multiple channels. You’ll work closely with colleagues across our global teams to bring our brand to life online — raising awareness, driving engagement, and helping us tell powerful stories of change.

This role sits within our Brand & Communications team. You’ll be responsible for managing digital communities, creating compelling content, spotting trends, and using data insights to optimise our performance. You’ll also play a vital role in building capacity across the organisation, helping others to use social media in a way that’s consistent, impactful, and aligned with our global objectives.

Accountabilities

• Lead the development and delivery of our social media strategy, ensuring alignment with broader communications goals.

About the Role

We're hiring a Recovery Worker to join the team in Croydon which is a 24/7 accommodation service which provides high support to females with forensic mental health needs, complex needs and dual diagnosis. In this role, you will be at the forefront of providing person centred support, to help our residents overcome personal challenges, and meet their desired goals/outcomes. You will do this through various support plans and interventions, running and participation of activities, and working alongside various internal and external partners. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Being the main support worker for a group of residents, helping to create and update their support and risk plans.
• Plan, run and engage in activities such as games, celebrations, and movies or out of service activities such as planned days out to encourage social interaction while confidently lone working and managing the service.
• Help residents understand their rights, build confidence and become more independent as they return to the community.
• Notice when someone’s mental health is getting worse and take action to stop things from reaching a crisis.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns when needed.
• Support residents with taking their medication and keep accurate records. Build good working relationships with colleagues and outside agencies.

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our London & South East Team supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer.

You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and services in the community.

Join and support in leading our brand new Mental Health Service which is due to go live April 2026! The service is a step-down service, which provides short-stay, trauma-informed alternative to hospital admission and facilities. The service forms part of a wider integrated initiative for urgent and emergency care. The team will support our residents who are at risk of admission but can be supported outside of mental health hospital settings, by providing tailored support to them to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals, to live more fulfilled lives and independent living. 

In this role, you will support in leading the team by providing overall leadership to the service and line management responsibilities to support, enable, and empower your team to deliver high quality support to our residents. You will support in driving service outcomes in line with contractual requirements, ensuring quality and consistency within a trauma and psychologically informed environment. You will ensure the service runs smoothly in collaboration with the team, wider teams, and external partners. We're looking for someone who is solution focused, has experience within a similar service environment, and can create a safe space for individuals to learn, and grow.
