As a Social Entrepreneur Support Manager, you will be focused on delivering the best possible support to social entrepreneurs and their venture to help them maximise their social impact. This role will lead on finding, funding and supporting social entrepreneurs to offer them the best chance of success, from start up to scale. This role will be working with a diverse range of Social Entrepreneurs, both in terms of their lived experience, and the stage of their venture.

You will be responsible for working with a portfolio of social entrepreneurs at different stages of their journey, from ideation through to growth and scale. The portfolio of social entrepreneurs you will be supporting may vary dependent upon the team you sit within. You may be focused on early-stage or growth stage ventures as needed, offering more flexibility, variety, and skill development opportunities. You will be responsible for the delivery of a package of support that provides the social entrepreneur with awards (grants), Individual and business support, access to peer-to-peer support and to networks.   

In the respective teams you will also play an important role in deepening our capability and expertise when it comes to supporting social entrepreneurs during these different stages, building Pathways to Growth. You may also support the design, development and delivery of externally funded programmes or work with thematically/geographically linked social entrepreneurs as appropriate. We are seeking an experienced Social Media & Public Sector Engagement Officer to lead our social media and digital communications activity.

This role is about more than managing social media channels. We are looking for someone who can help raise the profile of invest in play amongst local authority leaders, commissioners, government departments, charitable funders, service providers and organisations working with children and families.

This role includes a specific focus on supporting individuals to sustain employment, return to work, or move closer to the labour market, recognising the strong relationship between health, wellbeing and good work.

The postholder will work collaboratively with individuals to identify their personal wellbeing goals and aspirations, including where appropriate employment-related outcomes, and support them to build confidence, resilience, and practical pathways forward.

This role combines Bluesci’s recovery-focused, social prescribing approach with the key elements of the Work Well model, providing holistic support that addresses both wellbeing and work-related barriers.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team based in Catford. Penrose Jigsaw Service is a forensic mental health service and work in partnership with South London and Maudsley NHS Trust (SLaM).  You will empower and motivate both our male and female residents and participants to achieve their personal goals and gain greater independence, supporting their reintegration into the community. You will provide tailored, person-centred support using a recovery model, ensuring our services are flexible and responsive to individual needs while meeting the expectations of our commissioners and stakeholders.

Your focus is on successful community reintegration and a sustained quality of life, guided by a recovery model that enables clients to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities through interactive and preventative approaches. We provide supported accommodation within a forensic step-down service, delivering residential and community-based support. We provide intensive accommodation-based support (six flats) and floating support (dispersed flats) designed to address the complex and challenging needs of our residents and participants. Support includes medication support, supervision, and regular health and safety checks, tailored to meet the complex and challenging needs of our residents and participants.

We’re looking for experienced social media and communications professionals to join our freelance moderation team.

Our moderators support a range of charity partners, working across always-on activity as well as high-profile campaigns and appeals. You’ll act as the voice of each organisation — engaging with supporters, answering queries, and ensuring conversations are managed safely and effectively.

This role is well suited as a flexible, additional source of income. Most of our moderators are freelancers or consultants working alongside other roles.

Working pattern

Moderation takes place between 9am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday.

Rather than working in one continuous block, you’ll complete your hours in short check-ins across the day to maintain coverage and meet response time targets.

Each account is allocated a set number of ‘active moderation hours’ per day (e.g. 2-3 hours), which are spread across multiple sessions.

For example, 3 hours may be split into 5-6 check-ins throughout the day.

• Start moderation from 9am (or earlier)

• Monitor activity throughout the day

• Complete a final check before 9pm

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our Newcastle Team supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer.

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality support tailored to the needs of the children and young people and their families. The work we do is rewarding but also complex and demanding. You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and services in the community.

This role is predominantly site-based with an element of occasional working from home as agreed with the line manager. Your contractual base will be both Home and Hospital.

We are recruiting sessional assessing social workers to undertake Form F assessments. Our assessments are undertaken face to face. Applicants must live within the specified areas above. 

Key Duties for Form F Assessors include:

• To undertake and complete Form F assessments in the timescale set out in our policy and guidance.
• To visit personal referees as identified on application form for prospective foster carers.
• To ensure that all checks and references are undertaken and completed.
• To provide to the supervisor, regular written updates of the draft assessment.
• To liaise with our administrative team concerning the progress of administrative checks and completion of the Form F.
• To be available for supervision, consultation or liaison as required.
• To be available to present completed Form Fs to the virtual fostering panel and provide support to the applicants through this process.
• To be aware of our child protection procedures and immediately report any child protection matter or concerns to a TACT manager and any relevant placing authority and the area authority.
• To carry out the duties in line with our Foster Carer and Supervising Social Worker Standards and Practice Guidance.

Rates of Pay for Form F Assessors

• £2,250 per Form F Assessment / £37.50 per hour,  plus £250 bonus for ‘panel ready’ assessments, plus £250 bonus for completion within 16 weeks, plus 45p mileage
• £37.50 per hour for assessments which are not completed, and any other piece of work.

We are looking for a manager to lead on the relationship with the project funder, to lead a team of two co-ordinators and take ownership of project monitoring, analysis and reporting. You need to bring experience of liaising with senior stakeholders, people management and project management skills, including analysing data, and writing concise and comprehensive reports.

We are expanding our team to allow us to significantly grow and develop one of our key projects, Jericho Works. The project enables us to maximise our impact and take Jericho’s expertise out into the community, engaging with community organisations to reach those who face challenges in finding work and helping them progress in their journey towards employment. Jericho Works offers one-to-one employability support, short-term work tasters and placements, support into progression opportunities including volunteering, training and employment, and employability-focussed hardship and practical support.

We would consider 0.8 FTE for the right candiate. The successful applicant must have the Right to Work in the UK as we are unable to offer sponsorship.

What you will be doing: 

· Maintaining and developing our relationship with the key funder and their team

· Leading on regular funder meetings 

· Budget forecasting and monitoring

· Line management of project co-ordinators, including regular one-to-ones, appraisals, overseeing their development and supporting them to achieve their targets

Trent Bridge Community Trust is seeking a passionate and driven individual to lead on an impact-led approach to using the power of sports officiating to make a meaningful difference in communities across the county.

This role offers an exciting and unique opportunity to shape a new direction for officiating, with a strong focus on using umpiring and scoring as vehicles to improve physical and mental well-being, build confidence and reduce loneliness, particularly in non-cricketing communities.

You will have the opportunity to shape and deliver development opportunities, such as mentoring programmes and engagement initiatives, while growing and supporting strong networks that help officials feel connected and valued.

You will oversee the Officiating Administrator, who will manage systems and administration, allowing you to focus on leading engagement, development and impact with the autonomy to influence the programme’s development. You will also work closely with the Nottinghamshire Officials Advisory Group, chairing their sessions and working with volunteers to increase the group’s impact.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident in engaging with a wide range of people and communities, with a strong ability to communicate effectively across different environments. You will be committed to working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and understand the value of social impact in sport, particularly in supporting well-being, confidence and connection. You will also be proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative in shaping and developing the programme.

The role will focus on engagement, development and impact, working alongside an Officiating Advisory Group Administrator who will support delivery through systems, logistics and appointments.
