Location: Based in either our Milton Keynes or our London team, with hybrid working arrangements in place for both home and office working, and travel covering Milton Keynes, North London and surrounding areas.

Contract: Permanent full time – 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary Ranges: Social Worker - Salary in the range of £34,053 - £41,620 per annum. Senior Social Worker - Salary in the range of £39,292 - £48,022 per annum.  If based from our London office, a location allowance of £3,299 per annum will be payable.

About the role:

Our Social Worker/Senior Social Worker’s role is a pivotal one within our Adoption service.  Some of your responsibilities will include:

· undertaking ‘home study’ assessments (PARs) and present these to the adoption panel

· support families throughout the matching process and once children are placed, up until the Adoption Order

· participating in recruitment activities and training for prospective adopters

About you:

As a Social Worker, you’ll bring a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in childcare social work and as a Senior Social Worker, a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. You’ll have an understanding of child development and the impact on behaviour of interrupted development. You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, equity and inclusion within service delivery.

On a day to day basis, our team maintains a safe and welcoming environment and ensures all challenge participants feel valued and well supported. About the role

Our moderators manage Facebook groups of up to 18,000 virtual challenge participants. You will be working with some of the biggest names in the sector, supporting them to raise five and six figure sums. 

This role is perfect for skilled fundraisers who can provide excellent supporter care, and is best suited as an additional source of income (the majority of our team are freelancers and consultants). You must be able to begin moderation at 9am (or earlier), wrap up by 9pm and adhere to our sub-three hour response time. 

As a Fundraising Group Moderator, you would be responsible for:

• Becoming the voice of the cause you are representing, adhering to their brand guidelines at all times

• Identifying, escalating and signposting any safeguarding issues

• Managing your own time and work on own initiative

• Responding to all post and queries in under three hours

• Maximising registration conversions and fundraiser activation 

• Providing fundraising support to challenge participants

• Ensuring that the group is a safe, constructive and positive environment

• Going above and beyond at all times to provide participants with an incredible experience

Our moderation takes place between 9am and 9pm, Monday-Sunday. Different challenges have different requirements and whilst you need to be on hand to monitor the group during 9am-9pm, the role does allow for a great deal of personal flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' professional fundraising experience. They will understand the importance of stewarding relationships and be committed to always acting in the best possible way for the charities we work so hard to support.

Full training will be provided alongside regular one to one and monthly team meetings.

We are looking to recruit HOPELINE247 Advisers to provide individually tailored suicide prevention advice and guidance to young people and those who are concerned for them via our national multi-channel helpline HOPELINE247 and deliver suicide prevention training online and in community settings across the UK.

What you will do:

• Work as part of a team providing suicide prevention support to a range of clients via multichannel communication platforms. 
• Work on a 7-day shift system
• Use professional judgement to assess the needs of the service users who present with risk to life and manage and report any matters related to safeguarding.
• Maintain accurate records and input data monitoring into the data base system.
• Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practise. 
• Provide training, mentoring and coaching to new recruits.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• a degree or professional qualification in Health or Social Care, Community Work or a related discipline
• previous experience of working in an advisory capacity in suicide prevention or mental health
• a proven record of working directly with vulnerable young people 
• experience of providing advice and guidance via multiple communication channels
• the ability to empathise, support and build rapport with suicidal people and those who care about them, remaining non-judgemental and adhering to the remit of the service

Salary: £16,230.50 per annum progressing incrementally to £17,944.67 per annum. (Scale point 24-28). As a night shift worker, you will receive an additional allowance of £10 per night shift. This will be paid on a monthly basis along with the salary.

Hours:  16.5 hours per week – 2 nights per week.

Working arrangements:  This role will work shifts starting at 10:25pm and finishing at 7:40am. Shifts will be on a rota bases across a 7-day working week.

The Principal Practice Tutor will play a leading role in and delivering Frontline’s Approach Social Work programme, a fast-track master’s in social work.  This is an exciting role for someone who wishes to combine management and leadership responsibilities whilst keeping a close connection to the work of their team by working directly with participants on the programme.

The Role:

The successful candidate will help to build Scouts social media audiences to support the Skills for Life strategy, ensuring we represent our young people, influence our communities and reach new audiences.

Understand how social media is evolving, particularly how brands are using video effectively. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the delivery and development of YoungMinds’ social media strategy, leading a small team to create engaging content for an audience of 200k+. YoungMinds’ social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Tik Tok) play an increasingly critical role in helping us to reaching our key audiences of young people and the parents and adults in their lives.  We're at a pivotal moment for the organisation, as we complete one organisational strategy and develop an innovative new direction. This role will play a central part in mobilising our digital channels to act on this new strategy, using insights and creative thinking to reach the young people people who need us most.   

The Social Media Manager will work with colleagues across YoungMinds to develop content for our social channels, taking an audience-first, insights led approach to the content we publish. You will boost engagement in line with our strategy - whether that’s reaching young people with supportive messages, building parent’s understanding of how to support their child’s mental health, promoting our services to teachers or building support for one of our campaigns. You will work in a test-and-learn environment where you will be encouraged to build on insights and instinct to experiment and take risks, using the resources at your disposal.

About the role:

The Social Mobility and Widening Participation Senior Officer is a vital member of the department. The post-holder will lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of sustained outreach initiatives. They will also be involved in a range of other challenging projects run across the Social Mobility and Widening Participation Department.  

The postholder will primarily work with pre-16 pupils and this will involve working collaboratively with and building strategic relationships with our partner schools and teachers.

The post holder will work closely with the wider team, student ambassadors and key partner staff.

About the Role

We are hiring a Resettlement Coordinator to support residents who have complex needs and are ready to live independently out of residential support. You will provide practical support to residents who require help with finding and sustaining suitable accommodation and engaging with community based services such as councils, training providers, and local authorities.  Our residents face challenges such as with their mental health, substance use, and homelessness. In this role, you will support them in overcoming their personal barriers to they can move forward in achieving their goals. Our aim is to reduce inequalities and improve access to health, employment, training, and social care.

Some key responsibilities include: 

• Supporting residents to reach their goals, including to find suitable accommodation, through plans, assessments, reviews, and meetings.
• Developing and monitoring move on plans, liaising with partners to provide housing and resettlement support to residents.
• Developing and running clinics for residents to support with their move on journey through projects, individual sessions, group activities, and events.
• Providing advice, information, guidance, and life skills training to residents as required.
• Creating strengths based assessments and deliver holistic support and risk plans to help residents/participants achieve goals and stay safe

This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the view that it may be extended into a permanent position in the future.
