The successful candidate will have experience of supporting voluntary and community organisations and an understanding of their developmental needs.

Outreach and Admissions Officer

The Role

We are seeking to appoint an Outreach & Admissions Officer who will work to increase the numbers of strong applicants to the College and University from underrepresented backgrounds, and support them in applying to Cambridge. SOFT UK is a national charity supporting families affected by Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome) and Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome). We provide emotional support, information, advocacy, and community connections to ensure no family faces this journey alone.

The Regional Engagement Officer (REO) for Northern Ireland will build and strengthen SOFT UK’s presence in the region. London Borough of Camden

This is an exciting opportunity for a Family and Volunteer Support Worker to deliver a volunteer support service for new parents and their families during the perinatal period across the London borough of Camden in the Parents Matter Perinatal Family Support Service.

This service provides a programme of support for pregnant women and new parents which includes volunteer face-to-face befriending in the home and community as well as support by phone and video. The aim of the programme is to increase the resilience and emotional wellbeing of new parents who are experiencing isolation and low-level mental health issues

International Care Network is a Christian charity whose aim is to help to rebuild the lives of asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. The UASC team provide Ofsted regulated supported accommodation to asylum seeking young people referred by various local authorities. We are looking for an experienced support worker to work within the UASC team to provide regular support to vulnerable asylum-seeking young people aged 16 to 24.
