As HR, Finance & Operations Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Baytree’s organisational strategy—ensuring we remain a high-performing, mission-aligned charity. You’ll lead on financial planning and reporting, organisational development, HR strategy and people practices, and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finance: Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial compliance using QuickBooks and associated tools.
• HR Strategy: Oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and workforce development.
• Operations: Ensure facilities, IT systems, and internal processes are efficient, compliant, and user-friendly.
• Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the SMT and Board to shape organisational strategy and manage risk.

Main duties

Fundraising CRM Project Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end project to replace the current CRM system, including an audit of existing data, research into CRM options, supplier selection and full onboarding and implementation.
• Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system during the review period, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for purpose while supporting the transition process.
• Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.

CRM and Data Management

• Maintain and improve the quality of supporter data through regular cleansing, deduplication, and tagging to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance.
• Working with data flows and setting up integrations, ensuring the system runs smoothly on an ongoing basis, making updates, troubleshooting issues whilst maintaining data consistency.
• Work with the Finance team to support integration between the CRM and finance systems for seamless donation and income reporting.

Data Selections, Segmentation and Campaign Support

• Collaborate with the Fundraising team to perform targeted data selections for appeals, newsletters, stewardship journeys, and events.
• Develop and maintain segmentation structures and logic to support personalised supporter journeys and strategic targeting.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to provide campaign-ready data for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement activities.

Reporting and Insight

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real time insight into fundraising performance, donor behaviour and campaign results.
• Create and deliver regular and ad hoc fundraising analysis to inform strategic decisions and performance tracking.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve donor retention, upgrade journeys and lifetime value through data driven insight.

Key responsibilities

• In conjunction with your Line Manager, continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
• Proactively flag any data integrity issues with Line Manager and help develop action plans as required.
• Participate in internal/external meetings as required, and attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.
• Participate in regular supervision and annual appraisal and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.
• Ensure that all The Passage’s policies and procedures are adhered to and contribute to the effective implementation of The Passage’s Diversity and Equality Policy as it affects both The Passage and its work with vulnerable adults.
• At all times, undertake your role in a professional manner maintaining a high-quality standard of work, and to always work in accordance with the aims, values and ethos of The Passage and uphold standards expected by The Fundraising Regulator.

The Role

This role will focus on building lasting, meaningful relationships with trusts and foundations to secure transformational funding for a critical capital project.

Main responsibilities include:

• Researching, prioritising, and managing a pipeline of potential funders

• Nurturing relationships and providing project updates
• Track and monitor the use of grant funds to ensure compliance with funder agreements.

You will report directly to the Head of Fundraising and work closely with the wider fundraising team, care services and finance team. 

The Person

We are looking for someone with experience in trust and grants fundraising – ideally for capital appeal projects, although this is not essential. You should have exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to produce persuasive and articulate proposals and reports.

You will also require excellent research and analytical skills, be extremely organised, and demonstrate outstanding time management and meticulous attention to detail. A proactive and target-driven approach to fundraising is essential.

About the role:

As in Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) you will support victims of domestic abuse who primarily live in Luton. This role will be part of our other wider specialist services covering Bedfordshire.

As an IDVA you will be:

• Providing a high quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse.
• Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service trough individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
• Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of partners as well as MARAC and other local partnerships to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
• Promoting the service and raise awareness of domestic abuse through the delivery of training
• Supporting the Daily Domestic Abuse meeting in the IFD (Integrated Front Door), which discusses all

You will need:

• Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic abuse
• To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
• To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.

What you’ll do

As Finance Executive, you’ll play a key role in keeping our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly; from processing transactions and performing reconciliations, to ensuring our partners are billed correctly and pay on time. You'll be a key point of contact for finance queries across the business, and your work will be essential to maintaining accurate records and enabling wider decision-making. You'll also play an important role in driving process improvements, and support the team by analysing data and producing insightful reports that inform decision making.

This is a varied role where you’ll get exposure to lots of different areas within the finance function of a SaaS company. It’s perfect if you’re keen to explore your interests and gain a solid grounding across multiple aspects of finance.

• Record, process and reconcile transactions for the company using platforms like Spendesk and Xero, and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and categorised. 
• Manage our finance email inbox, responding to queries from schools, universities and employers. 
• Manage our accounts receivable processes, keeping track of overdue invoices, chasing partners for payment and recording received payments. 
• Support our sales teams with general finance related queries and keeping their partner records up to date on Salesforce (our CRM system).
• Improve, streamline and automate processes within the finance function. 
• Get involved with projects such as:
  • Setting up a simple way to keep track of the subscriptions we pay for, and make sure we’re getting good value from them.
  • Finding solutions to increase the number of invoices paid on time.
  • Creating useful reports and dashboards on Salesforce to aid decision making. 
• Support the Finance Lead to:
  • Prepare the payroll for our accountants (including commission calculations) and manage associated schemes (e.g. pension contributions).
  • Manage our accounts payable processes, making and recording payments. 
  • Work on forecasting and variance analysis to support business planning.
  • Check through our quarterly VAT return.
  • Manage the banking for our much smaller Hong Kong and US companies.
• Support the Head of Finance (your line manager) to:
  • Create the annual budget.
  • Support on ad-hoc projects and data analysis requests.

Who we’re looking for

You’ve got some experience in a finance or operations role, or you can demonstrate that you’ve built the relevant skills in another setting and are ready to learn more.

• You’re organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail that helps keep things running smoothly and accurately.
• You enjoy solving problems and thinking critically about how things can be improved, streamlined or automated.
• You’re quick to learn new systems and tools, you might not have used platforms like Xero or Salesforce before, but you’re keen to get stuck in.
• You take ownership of your work, following through on tasks and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
• You’re proactive and hands-on, excited to go beyond your core responsibilities to improve how we work and help make it a success.
• Being a proficient user of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot table, x-lookup) is a bonus.
• Having an educational background in Finance, Accounting or a Business related discipline is desirable, but not essential. 

Working together

We’re a small but mighty team of 3 within Finance (this role included). You’ll be line managed by the Head of Finance and will be working very closely with our Finance Lead too. You’ll also have regular contact with most people across the Unifrog, especially our partner-facing teams and the People team. You’ll also be liaising with our external accountants who take lead with the financial accounting and payroll side of things.

We are now looking for a Part-Time Youth Worker to join our team – someone with the skills and experience to engage boys and young men through both open access youth work and more targeted interventions, such as mentoring and group work. You’ll play an active role in delivering our evening programmes, creating positive relationships, and supporting young people to explore their potential.

About the Role:

As Head of Learning, you’ll lead Baytree’s adult education team—designing and delivering high-quality ESOL, literacy, and personal development programmes that empower women to thrive. You’ll oversee curriculum development, quality assurance, and contract management, ensuring our education services meet the needs of local women and funder commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Leadership:
Design relevant and impactful adult education programmes, oversee learner recruitment and progression, and ensure safeguarding and wellbeing across all learning activities.

Quality Assurance:
Implement robust quality improvement processes, conduct teaching observations, and prepare for audits and inspections from funders and regulatory bodies.

Team Management:
Lead and develop a team of tutors and administrators, foster a nurturing and high-performance culture, and supervise volunteers supporting the education service.

Contract & Funder Management:
Manage relationships with Lambeth Adult Learning Services and other funders, ensuring delivery against KPIs and producing high-quality reports and proposals.

Cross-Service Collaboration:
Work closely with other Baytree teams and external partners to align services, share best practice, and strengthen learner progression pathways.

About you

You are a highly skilled financial analyst with advanced Excel capabilities and experience using business intelligence tools. You thrive on interpreting and visualising complex data, automating processes, and creating actionable insights for both financial and non-financial colleagues. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, Internal financial Reporting and cross-system reconciliations is essential, and charity sector experience would be an advantage.

In this role, you will deliver advanced, data-driven insights that inform strategic and operational decisions across CARE International UK. You will design and maintain financial models, produce impactful reports and dashboards, and lead the automation of reporting processes to enhance efficiency. You will play a role as part of the team in annual budgeting and forecasting, cross-system reconciliations, and process improvements. Collaborating across fundraising, programmes, and support teams, you will act as a centre of expertise for analytics, supporting colleagues in best practice reporting and analysis. This is a community-based position working from home but covering the South East of England, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Essex.

Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.

This is home based and the candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the region covered. Occasional travel to London will be required. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.
