About the Service: Our Solace Advocacy Support Service (SASS) teams provide advocacy and support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse living across London. We are recruiting two IDVA positions in our nee Redbridge team.  

 About the role: The successful candidate will be responsible for risk and needs assessing and safety planning with survivors of domestic violence. They will hold a caseload of service users identified as high-risk requiring crisis short-term intervention, providing advice, advocacy, and onward referral where appropriate.

We are seeking Global Majority Worker to provide support and advocacy to women aged 16 years and over from the global majority and have suffered domestic and/or sexual violence, racial inequality or oppression.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work and completing outreach with faith based groups and churches to ensure our service is accessible for this marginalised group of women. In this role you will work as part of the Bexley Solace Advocacy and Support Service (SASS), providing support to high-risk survivors of domestic abuse in the borough. In addition to this, you will work in partnership with local agencies in order to provide the best support for our service users.

About You

About the role

Our client is seeking a skilled Financial Transactions Supervisor to oversee accounts payable, receivable, and cash handling operations. You will supervise a small team, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions and reconciliations. Sightsavers’ Trusts and Corporate Partnerships team is excited to be expanding its team in response to growing demands and opportunities in the trusts & foundation sector. We are recruiting for two additional Trusts & Foundations Advisors to be key contributors to the development of Sightsavers trusts and foundations programme. They will play a crucial role in the successful recruitment and cultivation of new business, while also managing a portfolio of existing trust and foundation donors primarily based in the UK, U.S and Europe.

In this role, the Advisor will be instrumental in contributing towards the team’s annual income target and supporting additional planned growth in the coming years. 

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate relationships with a portfolio of key trust and foundation donors for Sightsavers (up to 7-figure funding agreements) via proposals, mailings, reports, telephone or face-to-face meetings as appropriate, and coordinate donor visits, dealing with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees.
• Develop key external and internal relationships and donor engagement activities for the achievement of planned objectives with these donors.
• Research, identify, prioritise, and develop personalised engagement plans and donor strategies to cultivate new trust prospects in targeted global markets. Lead on cultivating relationships with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees, with the aim of establishing additional high-value funding relationships.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community. 

When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).  

VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, Staff forums and communities of practice depending on role. Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.

Head of Aftercare
Annual Salary: £51,600 per annum

We place our patients at the centre of our operation and are in touch with many more people whose lives may have been affected by the service we provide. We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Health and Care Professional to lead our work in this area, developing and overseeing the strategy for Aftercare at EAAA and providing direct clinical support to a team of Clinical Liaison Officers. Your team will work directly with patients and their families, and you will work across the Charity and develop key external relationships to support our aftercare programme. 

An excellent communicator, you will lead the aftercare team and work closely with other teams in the Charity to help support our patients during the recovery process. From advising the Marketing Communications Team as they develop patient stories and supporting ideas from the Fundraising Team you will coordinate all points of contact for our patients, using your own natural leadership abilities and by empowering your team.

Using your management skills you will lead your team to work collaboratively with other external healthcare organisations to develop data sharing and improve our patient services, including signposting and developing external support networks.

You will take the lead on Safeguarding within the Charity ensuring compliance and investigating any safeguarding incidents reported.

You can be based in either Norwich or Cambridge and will be required travel across EAAA’s four main counties of operation (Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire), occasionally working out of hours to meet patients and support the work of your team. You’ll use your knowledge and experience to gain and develop trust between your team and our patients to help them through their journey into recovery and beyond.
