The Major Giving Department at the NSPCC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to become part of the Statutory Team, securing significant income from national, devolved and local government, research grant-makers and commercial tenders.
The Senior Public Sector Development Manager will work with the Lead for Public Sector Development, the Associate Head of Philanthropy, another Senior Public Sector Development Manager and two Public Sector Development Managers towards a shared income target of around £5 million per annum. These funds will create ground-breaking NSPCC projects that support millions of children, and help prevent abuse across the UK.
The recruited fundraiser will work at both a national and local level to lead on securing six and seven-figure grants to help the Statutory team achieve its annual income target. Working across the charity, they will build relationships with senior stakeholders, and source and share information with funders through engaging written materials, phone conversations and face-to-face meetings. Alongside managing their own portfolio, they will think strategically and lead on maximising new public sector funding streams.
The Major Giving Department is open and supportive with an active social life. The wider Trusts & Statutory Team has grown considerably - increasing its annual income by more than £6 million since 2017/18. With bespoke training opportunities, room for significant development and growth, and the support of colleagues and resource teams, the role will provide the opportunity to make a positive change for children and families across the UK.
The successful candidate will have:
- A track record of successfully bidding for six and/or seven-figure donations
- The ability to lead on producing compelling written material of the highest quality

We are looking for someone to work with a clear strategy and then develop, grow and successfully manage our Youth Advisory (YAG) and Alumni groups, as well as lead the engagement of families / support networks. We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of advocacy and the rights and entitlements of young adults with special educational needs and disabilities.
We are in our third year of running our YAG and yet to launch our Alumni offer. This role will therefore involve leading the implementation, development, and growth of the membership of both DFN Project SEARCH YAG and Alumni group. This will include planning and facilitating a programme of activities throughout the year for YAG and Alumni members, which we hope will be a mix of in person and online events.
This post holder will also provide ongoing training to YAG, Alumni and parent/carer members and facilitate their participation in our advocacy work. There will also be opportunities to deliver training to our central and partner teams alongside members of these groups

We need someone who can ensure best practice research and evaluation methods are used in data collection, analysis and dissemination to co-produce impact reporting. It will be essential that you support other NAS teams to use research and evaluation to measure the impact of their work and influence the future development of outputs and products.
Your focus will be to help to improve the quality of National Programmes and own services, and set standards for others by evaluating training, consultancy and accreditation products. You will directly manage a portfolio of evaluation research projects and coordinate the commissioning of individual projects to external evaluation partners, maintaining a schedule of work for next 3-5 years.
This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.

This is an exciting role to work with a wide range of providers and system influencers to develop and grow our mental health workforce in Kent and Medway. Working within the NHS Talking Therapies Services, you will have the opportunity to design and lead our workforce strategy.
The role will focus on developing an ambitious and forward-thinking strategy, working with providers, commissioners and universities to improve the size of the NHS Talking Therapies clinical workforce.
Since 1 April 2024, WithYou has been working in partnership with Vita Health Group (the lead provider across Kent and Medway) and IESO to deliver the new NHS Kent and Medway Talking Therapies Services.

What we’re looking for
You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in management and leadership, or equivalent and have experience working in a leadership role within the NHS Talking Therapies service. We are looking for someone who has experience in recruiting clinical staff within the Talking Therapies service, and who has strong organisation and project management skills.
You will excel in building relationships across a complex range of stakeholders and will be able to bring passion and vision to driving change in how we build and develop the NHS Talking Therapies workforce across the Kent and Medway area.
Above all, we are looking for someone passionate about what we do, and with a positive and engaging approach.

Camphill Village Trust are seeking a new Philanthropy Manager and Prospectus is excited to be heading up the search. A leading UK charity, Camphill Village Trust support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental-ill health and complex needs to lead a life of opportunity. They are proud to support over 600 adults across nine communities and services throughout England via supported living and day placement opportunities.
The Philanthropy Manager will play a key role in embedding a relationship fundraising culture across the wider Trust and driving income growth from major donors, trusts/foundations and potential corporate income. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and with senior-level support the post holder will develop and deliver this income stream which has such high potential for Camphill Village Trust.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid track record of growing income from charitable trusts and major donors and of building long-term relationships with funders. You will have worked strategically at manager level to develop and deliver philanthropic giving plans with successful financial outcomes. A sound understanding of current charity law, compliance, and fundraising best practices as they apply to major funders is crucial along with a passion for the work of Camphill Village Trust.

Pratham is one of the largest and most respected education charities in India. We developed a model that can teach a child to read and do basic maths in as little as 30 days for £14. We also have preschool, vocational and women's education programmes.
We have strong support from the UK Indian diaspora and are in a period of significant growth that has seen us triple in size in three years; we now raise £1.5m a year and have an ambition to at least triple again. Our flagship fundraising event is our annual Gala; we will return to Raffles at the Old War Office this year on 8th November. The gala sponsorship pack is included with the job pack below. The evening consistently raises over £500k; this year, you will support the delivery of the Gala, but next year, you will lead it along with a calendar of cultivation and stewardship events that will help us grow partnerships with major donors, corporates and foundations.
While you will work in a small, fully remote team day to day, you will be part of the global Pratham network. The team in India has over 6,000 staff, and they raise $28m locally. Pratham USA has 14 chapters and produces around 12 galas a year, which contributes to its $30m income; you can share the films and branding of their galas, meaning we can really stretch our budget to put on an outstanding event.
We are a small team, and whilst an events person is vital for our development if someone wanted to get involved in other fundraising streams, particularly corporate or major donors, we would be delighted to read about it in your application and discuss it at the interview or in a call before the interview—which are welcomed.
All current staff have visited India to see the programmes, and whilst we can't guarantee you a visit as we grow, it remains an ambition. We can offer a level of flexibility on hours, we'd consider someone four days a week, but flexibility and some extra (paid) days might be required around the gala time. Our Executive Director stops for 30 minutes at 3 to pick up his children from school, work patterns that suit you can be considered.
