The Project Officer (Strategic Data and Measurement Analyst) is an important new role at the Diocese, as you will provide a comprehensive understanding of our data sets to afford context and insight to the Deaneries, parishes and the Diocese which will help develop projects and programmes to drive growth in church attendance.

This role would suit someone who is an excellent and inquisitive administrative professional looking to expand into the field of data analysis.

As Project Officer, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of all types of datasets available within the Diocese, including demographic data, attendance records, retention statistics and financial records, whilst identifying and implementing appropriate tools and methodologies for collecting and analysing new data insights.

An integral member of the Strategy Team and reporting to the Strategic Programme Manager, you will lead data analysis work for projects as needed, providing statistical expertise and composing narrative insights for project reports to inform decision making, support funding cases and investment requests.

Acting as a point of contact between the project office and other stakeholders, you will provide coordination and support as needed to ensure the smooth implementation of projects. You will also assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and documenting minutes, ensuring timely progress and effective communication within the team and with external partners.

In addition, you will represent the Strategic Programme Manager at project reviews, contributing to discussions and decision-making processes as needed.

Educated to degree level in a related subject or with equivalent experience, you should have familiarity with a variety of ways of presenting complex data clearly and be able to manage and organise a range of datasets from multiple sources to enable analysis, presentation and the identification of synergies.

Your enquiring mind and careful approach to manipulating and mining data to create insights and information, along with your ability to interpret data through an understanding of the project’s context, will ensure you are able to frame the questions that matter.

A high degree of IT literacy including use of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools and a working knowledge of databases, along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills and a creative ability to deliver insights in clear and accessible written, verbal and visual media formats are essential.

Experience of using Business Intelligence tools and familiarity with basic project management principles would be desirable, as would being sympathetic with the mission and ethos of the Christian Church, the Church of England, the Diocese of Canterbury and the vision and values of our church schools.

The vacancy

As a Community Safety Specialist, you will manage a full range of community safety casework, ensuring Peabody’s Community Safety Service is delivered within agreed timeframes, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with all necessary protocols, keeping accurate records and maintaining risk assessments.

A bit about the role:

Manage a caseload of medium and high risk anti-social behaviour cases, developing and maintaining expert knowledge of ASB prevention and collaborating with key external partners through creating effective relationships, (including Police and Local Authorities) to resolve local community safety issues.

Engage with Peabody’s internal and external legal teams on complex cases, preparing documentation and where needed representing Peabody at Court and external meetings.

You will provide our Neighbourhood Managers with advice, support and all necessary tools and tactics to remedy cases with a key focus on prevention, intervention, and enforcement when necessary.

Collaborate with colleagues in Customer Services and Communities team to identify support needs, accessing relevant agencies for both victims and perpetrators of anti-social behaviour, completing referrals to mediation and other support services as appropriate.​

This role will require a Basic DBS check, a full UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

The Assistant Schools Officer (Organisation and Estates) is a crucial role at the Diocese, as you will act as the first point of contact from church schools, site trustees, our consultants and other professional advisers regarding school estates and buildings, site ownership and educational endowments.

Reporting to the Schools Officer and working within the Children, Young People and Education department, you will support the Board’s statutory responsibilities in promoting education across the Diocese; particularly in advising school leaders and governors in relation to school organisation and the use or development of land and buildings.

As Assistant Schools Officer, you will provide support by monitoring projects relating to school estates (building developments, maintenance and repairs) and make proactive enquiries and interventions to sustain progress against recorded timescales.

You will also take responsibility for managing the schools’ Devolved Formula Capital (DFC) grant held by the Diocese; guiding schools in interpreting definitions regarding suitable DFC projects, liaising with schools regarding available funding and helping schools to prioritise projects/the application of funds effectively for estate management.

A crucial part of our strategy is to assess the environmental impact of the Diocese’s church schools, planning for and supporting schools to advance decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects. As Assistant Schools Officer you will regularly update and signpost church schools to banks of practical materials and resources for decarbonisation campaigns, toolkits and projects, building case studies of best practice.

With relevant professional experience in an education, administrative, property or project support context, you should be capable of supporting projects and have the ability to apply understanding to tasks. Able to summarise complex information clearly, you should be able to explain the progress of projects to those with no specialist understanding.

The Prospect and Stakeholder Research Manager role sits within the Engagement Services team, part of the External Relations directorate. The Engagement Services team supports fundraising, and alumni and stakeholder engagement activities across the University.

This position is responsible for ensuring fundraisers are able to establish and develop strong personal relationships with prospective donors in order to generate significant levels of philanthropic financial support for the University’s teaching, learning and research priorities.  As the primary research professional they will enable high quality fundraising at various giving levels.

St Catherine’s College seeks to appoint a new Development Executive ahead of the development and launch of a major new capital campaign. The Development Executive will be a key member of the St Catherine’s College Development Team, working hand in glove with the Development Director and Deputy Director in particular, to advance our major gifts programme.

This post is full time, for a three year fixed term in the first instance.

The salary is in the range £36,024 - £44,263 per year.

The post holder will be personally responsible for:

• identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors and prospects with the capacity and propensity to make significant (£25,000 - £500k+) financial contributions to College;
• identifying the next generation of major donors, building relationships, securing five, six and, in time, seven figure gifts, and driving up philanthropic income in the medium and longer term;
• focusing on individuals, foundations, and, in some cases where relevant, corporations, with the potential to make transformative gifts.

This role has arisen at a pivotal time for St Catherine’s College; as we prepare for a major campaign for an ambitious estates project. Working with the Director and Deputy Director, this new role will be vital in developing, launching and closing out this landmark campaign and ensuring that the College capitalises on the momentum created to launch into its next philanthropic phase.
