The FA is looking for a Women's and Girls' Game Communications Executive to join our team on a 2-year fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting role with responsibilities across various areas of the women's and girls' game, including the Adobe Women's FA Cup, grassroots football, coaching, refereeing, the England talent pathway and The FA's Made for this Game campaign. Working closely with and reporting directly to the Women's and Girls' Game Communications Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering a communications strategy which promotes The FA's strategic objectives within women's and girls' football.

The role requires a smart media operator and a creative thinker who can recognise opportunities to grow the women's and girls' game across the priority areas. You will help deliver the season-long communications plan and press office function for the Adobe Women's FA Cup, helping elevate the competition to new heights. With direction from the Head of England Communications, the role will also cross into the England pathway with the requirement to scope opportunities to elevate the profile of the England women's development squads.

As a member of The FA's Communications team, you will work as part of a high-performing integrated marcomms team across the priority areas. Close collaboration with Marketing, Campaigns, Content and Public Affairs colleagues within The FA will be essential to help drive and deliver integrated campaigns. You will also work with various FA departments and external stakeholders to create and deliver the communications strategies.

It is a two-year fixed-term role, which currently includes two days a week based at Wembley Stadium and regular trips to St George's Park. Please note that the role also requires occasional out-of-hours work and travel.

What will you be doing?

• Coordinate and deliver an integrated season-long communications plan to support and promote The FA's key strategic objectives in the women's and girls' game.
• Coordinate and deliver an integrated season-long communications plan to promote and protect the Adobe Women's FA Cup, including the delivery of the competition's press office function.
• Press office support for the England women's development teams.
• Identify opportunities to promote The FA's Made for this Game campaign across owned and external channels.
• Ownership of creating and maintaining key press materials for the smooth running of the holistic women's and girls' game press office, including media lists, briefing documents and media guides.
• Play a central role within an integrated marcomms team to promote the women's and girls' game, the Adobe Women's FA Cup and England women's development teams across owned and earned channels.
• Develop and maintain trusted working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Work effectively with key internal departments, including Marketing, Digital Content, Commercial, Broadcast, and Public Affairs, to achieve joint organisational goals.
• Expertly and effectively manage incoming media requests.
• Execute additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.

About The Role

Following a successful VE Day, we’re looking for a Remembrance Events Officer to join our team at The Royal British Legion on a fixed-term contract until December 2025. In this role, you’ll help plan and deliver key Remembrance events, including significant upcoming milestones like VJ Day. You will take ownership of your own portfolio of Trusts + Foundations with the capacity to donate up to £10k, leading on all stages of the cultivation cycle from prospect identification to stewardship to retain existing supporters and generate new business. Proactive and tenacious, you will enjoy building relationships with funders via phone and email, using this insight to craft compelling and inspiring proposals and update reports which match funder interests.

About the role:

As an Operations Manager (with allowance), you will be leading several services working to support victims across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. Currently these include the Staffordshire Victim Gateway, Harmony ASB and Mediation service and the Restorative Justice service. You will ensure the provision of these high-quality services, maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, and work alongside the Area Manager to promote and develop our victim services in the area.

You will:

• Lead the service teams to deliver excellent and high quality support to victims of crime and major incidents
• Directly manage service leads/team leaders and have oversight of volunteering activity across the services
• Prepare and deliver reports for contract monitoring, helping to retain and improve current commissioned contracts, ensuring all KPIs are met and effective case studies provided
• Co-develop and implement business plans and ensure team aware of each service's mission and vision
• Monitor local opportunities to build and maintain relationships with funders and all stakeholders. Represent the services in external forum and be proactive to advocate for victims needs

About You:

Ideally, you will have proven experience in a similar organisation, demonstrating proactive, innovative, and effective management skills and the ability to secure high levels of performance, motivation, commitment, teamwork, collaboration, and trust from colleagues.

Experience in effective partnership working is essential. Strong communication skills are required, including the ability to deliver presentations, and raise awareness for the services.

Oversee our helpdesk, which acts as the first point of contact for requests for support from our staff and volunteers. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Supervisor with experience in care homes, adult health, social care, or community settings to lead our dementia care teams at Dunkirk Memorial House.

Evidence of professional development in dementia care is essential. You will inspire care teams to provide compassionate, high-quality support tailored to each resident’s needs. You will create personalised care plans, promote health and well-being, and ensure that the preferences and choices of residents are central to their care.
 
Work pattern: 37.5 hours per week, consisting of three 12.5 hour night shifts (19:45 – 08:15), including weekends with salary between £15.22 - £16.36 per hour (inclusive of night allowance).
