Acts 435 is seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Content Officer to play a key role in communicating the charity’s vision, mission, and impact through engaging digital content across social media and its website. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of content that resonates with the charity's community of donors, churches, and supporters. This role will help increase awareness of Acts 435’s work and contribute to growing its donor and church/charity networks, while maintaining it’s Christian ethos.
The Digital Content Officer will be responsible for producing social media posts, videos, graphics, and more to support the charity’s online presence, as well as campaigns and appeals throughout the year. They will also utilise digital content to help grow the network of church/charity partners. This is a part-time, flexible position that requires a passionate individual with a strong ability to tell stories through digital media.
As a result of our Christian ethos, and due to the nature of representing and expressing our Christian values through digital content, this post is covered by an Occupational Requirement (OR) under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010. The successful applicant will be expected to be a practising Christian and to clearly demonstrate a personal commitment to our mission, principles, values and practices by:
- Being an active member of a local church congregation.

The role is to be predominatly home-based, but with weekly meetings in York, so the candidate must be reasonably local to York and the surrounding area. Due to the nature of digital content there will be travel involved when filming different partners and locations.

The Role
Identify, develop, plan and execute a calendar of virtual and physical community fundraising and engagement events and activities, for exmaple, a local Christmas Market, identifying third-party fundraising initiatives and virtual challenges, or leading on the identification and/or development of national events.
Oversee logistics, which may include venue booking, supplier sourcing/coordination, risk assessments and event-day management. Ensuring all events and activities comply with health and safety regulations, risk management policies and GDPR guidelines.
Build your virtual events community through effective use of social platforms/activities, which your Marcoms colleagues will support you to identify and deliver.
Develop and implement stewardship plans to encourage repeat participation and wider engagement in the charity.
Support participants in their fundraising efforts, providing fundraising specific guidance and resource.
Work with the Marcoms team to develop and deliver promotional materials, social media campaigns, and PR opportunities.
Manage events and budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and maximum ROI.
You will manage an administrator and be supported by a strong team of fundraisers, a marketing department set up to support the development of community activity.
The Candidate
Experience in event management, ideally within the charity or community sector.
Strong fundraising knowledge and experience in income generating events and techniques both physical and through digital channels.
Budget management experience and ability to work within financial targets.
Strong project management and organisational skills.

About the role:
This hybrid role includes a combination of home, office and community-based working. You will meet regularly with clients at safe locations of their choosing. There will be travel requirements across East Sussex and Brighton & Hove.
As an IDVA you will:
- Empower survivors, supporting them to identify features and dynamics of domestic abuse
- Work with clients referred to the DASS by the High Harm Perpetrator Programme, holding a caseload of varying complexity and prioritising high risk cases for support.
- Conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments
- Provide individualized safety and support plans, advocacy, practical support and information
- Participate in the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC), acting as the voice of the survivor and delivering on actions agreed
- Use a person-centred, survivor-focused approach, being mindful of the effects of trauma and additional barriers to access survivors of domestic abuse may experience
- Attend the monthly High Harm Panel and other mandatory conferences (including contributing to the Multi-Agency Tasking and Coordination process where applicable), representing the voice of the survivor and sharing relevant information with key agencies to reduce risk and increase safety
- Assist in delivering training, and provide consultancy and advice to other agencies as required
You will need
- An understanding of the issues faced by survivors experiencing domestic abuse
- A good understanding of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management for survivors of domestic abuse
- An understanding of safeguarding issues & the legal responsibilities surrounding these
- Experience of delivering services to survivors of domestic abuse and/or other vulnerable people
- Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework, including building relationships with statutory and voluntary service providers
- Experience of managing a complex caseload, prioritising work and dealing with competing demands demonstrating an organised and methodical approach to work
- Ability to deliver indvidualised safety and support plans, demonstrating sufficient knowledge of risk reduction regarding harmful practices and modern slavery
- Ability to deliver training sessions to professional agencies
- Understanding and knowledge of and active commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity

What you'll do:
Payroll
Be responsible for the day to day delivery and coordination of the administration of the Payroll function, ensuring a timely and accurate payroll service is delivered to Look Ahead's employees, workers and Board members, to agreed deadlines
Produce and review any monthly exception reports to identify and rectify any payroll errors arising
Work with the HR Admin and Payroll Manager, Director of People and Director of Finance to ensure that payroll data processing reviews are rigorously and independently checked, validated and signed off
Act as liaison with internal and external auditors and other 3rd parties (as appropriate) on all matters with regard to Payroll processes, controls and systems
Act as liaison with MHR, HR department and Business Systems team on all areas of the payroll.
HR Admin
Acting as the first point of contact for all HR Admin related queries, via phone and email; responding promptly, whilst managing expectations effectively
Ensure letters for contractual changes for staff are sent out in a timely and accurate way and all relevant systems updated
Respond to straightforward policy and process queries, providing appropriate advice and guidance in line with Look Ahead policy, ensure that urgent items are prioritised and that any issues are highlighted and resolved as quickly as possible; escalate to the Admin Manager or an HR Business Partner as appropriate

What Will Your Typical Day Involve?

Delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents in collaboration with Registered Nurses

Assessing residents’ needs, observing and recording clinical observations, reporting changes in condition and implementing agreed care plans

Supporting residents with personal hygiene, mobility, mealtimes and hydration, maintaining dignity and choice at all times

Administering medications safely and accurately within your competency and in accordance with policy

Monitoring skin integrity and supporting wound care management, escalating concerns as needed

Assisting with clinical procedures including catheterisation, simple dressings and venepuncture (as trained and competent)

Supervising and guiding Health Care Assistants and Senior HCAs, ensuring care is delivered to the highest standards

Liaising with GPs, therapists and family members to ensure a joined-up, responsive care approach

Supporting residents and relatives with emotional and practical needs, including after-death care

Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking an accountable and confident practitioner who:

Is registered as a Nursing Associate or has equivalent experience and training at Band 4 level

Has experience in a care home, community or similar healthcare setting

The Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and be responsible for overseeing a team of 16 and working towards growing annual income from £10 million to £12m-£14 million within the next few years, as well as securing £2m-£3 million in pro bono support. With a view to grow income this position will have a strategic role in refining and leading donor engagement and stewardship. With direct line management of four excellent Directors, this role will work and lead the team to think innovatively in how to grow new donor networks and engagement approaches to achieve income growth.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence extensive high value fundraising experience in complex organisations, with notable examples of successfully securing six and seven-figure gifts from major donors, corporates, and foundations. This person will have proven experience of leading successful teams to achieve income and engagement growth of a multimillion-pound level. They will also be an experienced senior leader and ideally have knowledge of the education, children, or youth sectors. They will champion an inclusive culture and align with Impetus' mission and values.

Reporting to: Service Manager
Location: Baca office, Cambridge, England with regular travel to locations where Baca’s services are delivered.

About Baca: Baca is dedicated to supporting young refugees aged 16 to 18. Our mission is to empower these young individuals to become positive, independent contributors to society. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Education Coordinator to join our team and lead the delivery of our education program.
Overall Purpose: As the Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering Baca's education program. Your role will be crucial in enabling the young people we support to achieve a standard of English that allows them to enrol in local college courses and become empowered individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the education program creatively to meet the diverse needs of young people.
- Support the achievement of outcomes in line with Baca’s Theory of Change, including improved physical and emotional wellbeing, increased engagement with education, employment, and training, social engagement, and personal safety.
- Review and develop the education program to ensure it meets the needs of young people and college course requirements.
- Liaise with colleges and education providers to support student enrolment and ongoing academic success.
- Recruit, train, support, and supervise education volunteers, including developing volunteer resources and training packs.
- Coordinate education support from volunteers, ensuring effective matching with young people and development of appropriate activities.
- Participate in meetings to deliver services effectively.
- Oversee the education volunteering budget and resources.
- Conduct monitoring and evaluation of volunteer activities.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, including monthly and end-of-year reports.
