The person

You will have a passion for graphic design and thrive on identifying and maximising opportunities for the charity to look and feel its brilliant best. You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to manage multiple stakeholders and design briefs simultaneously.

Key accountabilities

• Developing a wide range of creative to help raise awareness of who we are and what we do, promote our services and support our fundraising efforts.
• Pitching creative concepts in response to briefs from teams across Whizz Kidz (including Services, Fundraising, Policy, Volunteering, Corporate and Trusts).
• Responding to design briefs, creating a wide range of design elements and assets – including digital campaign assets, website and social assets, branded merchandise and printed publications.
• Project managing design processes from conception through to completion, including taking into account feedback, liaising with print partners and the management of any centralised stock.
• Developing and maintaining productive relationships with our print partners, ensuring that all materials created are proofed and to the desired standard.
• Offering training and support to colleagues using our new branded templates when necessary.
• Looking after our brand guidelines and developing new guidelines where required.
• Responding to design enquiries promptly and providing information and materials to colleagues in a timely manner when requested.

The Organisation

The Job

This is a hands-on Director of Finance role, responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of the organisation and two related charities. You'll manage a small team (currently one full-time and one part-time staff member) and report directly to the Chief Exec equivalent.

The Person

The Soldiers' and Aviators' Scripture Readers Association (known as SASRA) is one of the longest-established Christian charities supporting the British Armed Forces. We are now looking for home-based Regional Managers to help us engage with the Christian public across the UK.

The main function of Regional Managers is to bring before the Christian public the work we do taking the gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing a practical experience of the Christian faith to the young people of the British Army and Royal Air Force.

What you’ll be doing as our Centre Manager – Youlbury:

• Leading and supporting a team of staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality services
• Managing daily operations, including accommodation, catering, activities, and events
• Ensuring every visitor has a safe, smooth, and memorable experience
• Overseeing the site budget and contributing to financial planning
• Building strong relationships with the local community, volunteers, and Scout teams

The main purpose of the post holder is to develop the capacity of new and existing Refugee and Migrant Community Organisations (RMCOs) in Islington and surrounding boroughs by providing high quality information, capacity building training and developmental support.  The post holder is expected to udnerstand the values and challenges of the voluntary sector.

The capacity building project has been running for 18 months, and will continue for another 18 months until 30 June 2027 where funding will end. Renewal of this employment contract beyond of this period is subject continuation of funding
