This is an opportunity to join Refuge as Service Manager for the Eastern European Outreach Service. This vital role offers the chance to lead a dedicated team of Independent Gender Violence Advocates (IGVAs) in delivering high-quality support to women and children affected by domestic abuse.
This role is part of a job share which will lead our Eastern European Outreach Service, covering five boroughs across East and West London. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role for someone passionate about supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse and other forms of gender-based violence. Together with your colleague (another Service Manager) you will play a key role in ensuring that reporting requirements and service outcomes are consistently met, maintaining Refuge’s high standards and fulfilling contractual and funding obligations.
As Service Manager, you will oversee the delivery and development of high-quality outreach services tailored to the needs of Eastern European communities. This includes recognising and addressing the specific barriers these communities face in accessing support. You will provide line management to outreach staff, including supervision on complex and high-risk cases, and ensure operational emergencies are managed effectively.
You will lead on multi-agency collaboration, working closely with stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and trauma-informed response for survivors. The role requires strong experience in casework management, staff supervision, and direct support to vulnerable individuals. A solid understanding of domestic abuse, gender-based violence, and its impact is essential, along with knowledge of relevant legislation including Criminal and Civil law, Housing, and Health & Safety.
For this role, it is essential for candidates to be proficient in one or more Eastern European languages. We particularly encourage applications from Romanian, Lithuanian or Polish speaking candidates.

Maintain Financial Records
- As part of the Financial Accounts team (two Finance Officers and the Financial Controller) take a share of the responsibility for maintaining the financial records of the charity, ensuring compliance with processes and technical and legal requirements, and safeguarding the assets of the charity.
- Provide support to internal and external stakeholders in operating or using/getting benefits from the outputs from your areas of responsibility.
Areas of responsibility will include: -
- Processing and payment of invoices and bank transfers, including foreign and urgent payments.
- Processing of donations from journals generated from the CRM system, reconciling to bank receipts, and resolving any queries or discrepancies in collaboration with the Supporter Care team.
- Bank and petty cash recording and reconciliation. Including bank account reconciliation on a weekly basis, petty cash and foreign currency. Submission of bank reconciliations for approval by Financial Controller.
- Enter expected cash outgoings into weekly cash flow document.
- Credit Card and Expense Claims (detailed below)
- Process Payroll (detailed below)
- Purchase and sale of foreign currency as discussed with Financial Controller.
- Monthly gift aid submission including generation of Gift Aid submissions, complete pre-claim checks, submission and reconciliation to receipts from HMRC. Submission of draft gift aid submission for approval by Financial Controller.
- Month End - (detailed below)
- Year End - As instructed by the Financial Controller generate reports and information to support preparation of annual report and audit file. Answer audit queries provided by the charities auditors.
- Maintenance of the organisation's fixed asset register, posting journals for depreciation, acquisitions and disposals.
- Monitoring of finance inbox and support organisation with requests for financial information.
- Provide Support to organisation with procurement and purchase ledger system Focal point.
- Update projects/funds on Dimensions.
- Maintaining accounting records for our subsidiary company, ShelterBox Trading.
Credit Card and Expense Claims
- Maintenance of the Company Credit cards, submitting requests for new cards, adjusting credit limits and cancellation of cards.
- Download credit card transactions and upload to Continia Expense system and submit to credit card holders for completion of expenses.
- Review, approve and post to finance system credit card expenses and claims for expenses using Continia expense system.
- The issuing and reconciliation of cash advances for ShelterBox Response teams.
- Provision of new credit cards for Staff/ShelterBox Response team's and deal with any issues.
Payroll
- Processing the monthly payroll with information provided by HR Department using Payroll Software and initiating payment and payslips to staff.
- Monthly submission of payroll reports to HMRC and process payment of PAYE, NI and student loans to HMRC.
- Maintenance of the company pension scheme, uploading details of monthly contributions. Dealing with issues and queries around this.
- Monthly reconciliation of payroll control accounts.
- Providing support to the HR team around pay, pension, loans etc
Month End
- Assist with timely month end process by completing work to meet monthly deadlines.
- Monthly reconciliation of income between CRM and Dimensions.
- Produce month end reconciliations for approval by Financial Controller.
Special Projects:
- Provide support to the Finance Team Managers and Director of Finance including undertaking special projects as requested.
- Providing financial team support on cross departmental projects as required.

Do you have experience in working with vulnerable people with complex needs in a Housing, Hostel or Supported Accommodation environment?
We have a new Housing job opportunity where you will be working with a team of Housing professionals with the aim of supporting some of the districts’ most vulnerable adults to move on from temporary accommodation.
You will be managing all temporary and emergency accommodation placements on behalf of Cotswold District Council. The role involves working closely with homeless clients in various emergency accommodation arrangements. The aim is to assist these individuals in accessing affordable housing options and ultimately reducing the time they spend in short-term accommodation.
• You will be based primarily within one of our Hostels working intensively with homeless clients to enable them to access the full range of affordable housing options with the aim of reducing time spent in short term accommodation.
• The role involves travel across our district to visit homelessness households in their temporary accommodation (including Hostels and various B&B’s) with the aim of assisting them with maximising all of the housing options available to them to ensure that they are able to move on from temporary accommodation as soon as possible.
• Create bespoke ‘Tenancy Ready’ plans for each client and ensure that they have access to the appropriate support and resources to achieve this.
• You will also take part in assisting the Temporary Accommodation Supervisor in ensuring that full risk assessments are carried out on each client before being offered a placement in Council managed accommodation.
• Assist with the daily running of the homeless hostel’s, ensure repairs are promptly reported to the Property Service Team and assist with ensuring H&S risk assessments are up to date and adhered to.

This is a rewarding but demanding role — ideal for someone who thrives on helping others in crisis, but who understands the importance of clear boundaries, resilience, and confidentiality.
You will need resilience and adaptability as you will often work with people experiencing stress, crisis, or confrontation, so it is essential you can manage these situations calmly and confidently. Being emotionally resilient and understand how to support others without becoming personally involved or emotionally entangled.
Teamwork is essential for this role to work effectively with colleagues and external agencies.

About the role
The Digital Asset Management Officer (Platform Lead) will take ownership of WaterAid’s new Digital Asset Management (DAM) system hosted on Orange Logic, ensuring it meets the needs of a global communications and fundraising directorate.
This is a 6-month fixed-term role focused on completing the implementation and rollout of the system, embedding new ways of working, and ensuring the organisation can confidently and consistently access its best photography, film, design and document assets.
In this role, you will:
- Complete the final configuration of WaterAid’s DAM system, including collections, metadata structures, keywording, tagging, access levels and workflows.
- Ensure new content is uploaded, processed, accurately tagged and made accessible on an ongoing basis, preventing backlogs and ensuring uninterrupted use of the system during the transition period.
- Lead the day-to-day running of the DAM, providing hands-on support, troubleshooting issues and maintaining high standards of data quality, usability and compliance.
- Develop and deliver training, guidance and support to teams across WaterAid UK, country programme offices and member offices, driving adoption and confident use of the platform.
- Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion, ethical storytelling and safeguarding in the management and use of all digital assets.
Requirements
To be successful, you will need;
- Proven experience configuring and managing a Digital Asset Management system, including hands-on responsibility for uploading, processing, metadata, tagging and keywording.
- Strong technical understanding of DAM platforms, ideally including Orange Logic or a comparable enterprise system.
- Experience working with creative content workflows, including photography, film, design files and associated rights, consents and metadata.
- A process-driven approach with excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to support, train and advise users with varying levels of technical confidence.
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Experience implementing or rolling out a DAM system within a global organisation or NGO.
- Knowledge of ethical content practices, GDPR and representation standards in relation to imagery and film.
- Experience delivering training or onboarding programmes for digital platforms or content systems.

Programme Officer (UK) – Role Description
Working closely with and reporting to the President and CEO of Civis Foundation (US and UK), the UK Programme Officer will support the Foundation with the launch and scaling up of its operations in the UK.
The Programme Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the UK Foundation, relationship development, and project management. The management of the initial activity of the Foundation in the UK will include:

Relationship building: Extensive outreach to potential partners across arts, preservation, municipal, and community sectors in London, Liverpool, Jamaica, and Barbados. Secure introductions and meetings for the President and CEO, and explore potential programme collaborations.

Partner collaboration: Work with strategic consulting partners to support business planning and programme development.

Operating budget and core grant application development: Prepare a comprehensive grant request to Civis Foundation New York for initial capitalization, including a three-year operational budget.

Financial management and reporting: Support preparation of annual accounts, supplier management and payments, and monitor budgets and cash flow.

Operational and administrative support: Work with the President and CEO of Civis Foundation and other relevant staff and consultants on ad-hoc administrative support, meetings and diary coordination, and to put in place systems and processes for the full launch of the UK operations.

Evaluation and monitoring: Develop a "light-touch" but effective framework for measuring impact and tracking relevant metrics.
Key competencies and required skillset to succeed in this role include:

Demonstrate understanding of the UK non-profit landscape, specifically within social justice, arts, or community/urban development context, with at least 7-10 years of project and programme management experience in one or more of these fields.

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: £60,000-£67,000 a year (Full-Time Equivalent), dependent on experience.
Actual Salary: £42,000-£47,600 a year for 25 hours per week (0.7 FTE) pro rata.
Working hours: 25 hours per week. Flexible, with some adjustment to both UK and US time zones.
Annual leave: 22 days (28 days including bank holidays, pro rata.)
Pension: 8% employer contribution.
Hybrid working: remote/working from home, with regular access to a coworking/office space in London and for attendance of in-person meetings in London.

About the Role
As Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer, you will support the design and implementation of evidenced-based projects. This will enable the organisation to deliver high quality programmes, monitoring and evaluating impact and conducting data analysis, playing an essential role in ensuring accountability and improving information management and data quality.
Your principal duties and responsibilities will include
- Supporting the regional Programmes and Partnerships Advisors, International teams, and partners throughout the project cycle, to ensure that MEL activities and requirements are fully integrated into project and programme plans and budgets.
- Supporting the Programme Design and Impact Advisor (PDIA) to ensure that funded projects are effectively and efficiently monitored and evaluated and that learnings are captured, understood, shared and embedded into future work.
- Supporting the PDIA to promote and embed the use of the International Theory of Change and Quality Standards into ways of working.
- Supporting the implementation of, and conducting regular reviews into, the International Results Framework and associated MEL tools.
- Leading the collection, collation, storage, analysis and reporting of project and programme data, in line with the International Results Framework, to help demonstrate and communicate the impact of our international work.
- Supporting the preparation and review of internal reports in collaboration with programme staff, ensuring high-quality reporting, and that learning is captured and utilised.

About You
We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level or has the equivalent in experience.
You will also have:
- Demonstrable skills in monitoring, evaluation, feedback, and learning methods; including knowledge of best practices and experience with M&E frameworks, feedback, and learning processes.
- Significant knowledge or experience of conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Proven experience of developing MEL training and mentoring approaches, designing and facilitating participatory capacity development activities targeted to non-expert audiences.

About the role
We are recruiting for a Campaigns Communication Officer to join on a full-time, permanent contract, working 35 hours per week.
This role is key to Alzheimer’s Society’s ambitions to drive major policy change across England, Northern Ireland and Wales. As Campaign Communications Officer you will support in the delivery of impact focussed influencing campaigns that seek to change policy at both a local and national level; making the case for dementia to be the priority it needs to be.
You will work on the development and delivery of our campaign messaging and narrative, ensuring that campaign communications are impactful, closely aligned to our organisational tone of voice and in line with Evidence, Policy and Influencing ambitions – with an aim to affect change in dementia policy at all levels across Northern Ireland, England and Wales.
You will work closely with other teams across the organisation including, but not limited to, External Relations, Marketing and Brand, Fundraising and Internal Communications and Engagement to effectively translate and communicate our evidence, policy and influencing messaging for a wide variety of internal and external audiences, for both offline and online platforms.

Maintain Financial Records
- As part of the Financial Accounts team (two Finance Officers and the Financial Controller) take a share of the responsibility for maintaining the financial records of the charity, ensuring compliance with processes and technical and legal requirements, and safeguarding the assets of the charity.
- Provide support to internal and external stakeholders in operating or using/getting benefits from the outputs from your areas of responsibility.
Areas of responsibility will include: -
- Processing and payment of invoices and bank transfers, including foreign and urgent payments.
- Processing of donations from journals generated from the CRM system, reconciling to bank receipts, and resolving any queries or discrepancies in collaboration with the Supporter Care team.
- Bank and petty cash recording and reconciliation. Including bank account reconciliation on a weekly basis, petty cash and foreign currency. Submission of bank reconciliations for approval by Financial Controller.
- Enter expected cash outgoings into weekly cash flow document.
- Credit Card and Expense Claims (detailed below)
- Process Payroll (detailed below)
- Purchase and sale of foreign currency as discussed with Financial Controller.

- Provide Support to organisation with procurement and purchase ledger system Focal point.
- Update projects/funds on Dimensions.
- Maintaining accounting records for our subsidiary company, ShelterBox Trading.
Credit Card and Expense Claims
- Maintenance of the Company Credit cards, submitting requests for new cards, adjusting credit limits and cancellation of cards.
- Download credit card transactions and upload to Continia Expense system and submit to credit card holders for completion of expenses.
- Review, approve and post to finance system credit card expenses and claims for expenses using Continia expense system.
- The issuing and reconciliation of cash advances for ShelterBox Response teams.
- Provision of new credit cards for Staff/ShelterBox Response team's and deal with any issues.
Payroll
- Processing the monthly payroll with information provided by HR Department using Payroll Software and initiating payment and payslips to staff.
- Monthly submission of payroll reports to HMRC and process payment of PAYE, NI and student loans to HMRC.
- Maintenance of the company pension scheme, uploading details of monthly contributions. Dealing with issues and queries around this.
- Monthly reconciliation of payroll control accounts.
- Providing support to the HR team around pay, pension, loans etc
Month End
- Assist with timely month end process by completing work to meet monthly deadlines.
- Monthly reconciliation of income between CRM and Dimensions.
- Produce month end reconciliations for approval by Financial Controller.
Special Projects:
- Provide support to the Finance Team Managers and Director of Finance including undertaking special projects as requested.
- Providing financial team support on cross departmental projects as required.
Other responsibilities
- Any other duties as required which are deemed appropriate to the level and grade of the post.
